Hey guys..

As many of you know, the newest update to the client went out yesterday. Here are the newest features:

Access to all hole cards 24 hours after a hand is played: Players have the ability after a time delay to see all hole cards in the game that they were playing. Players will be able to use this feature to review past sessions. Also, future improvements will allow hands to be downloaded and exported.

STT HU Rematch / Same Game Functionality – Players will now have the ability to have rematches in hu sngs and today players will have the option to register for the next stt that is loading of the same type after busting or winning their current game.

Wait Time to rejoin Cash Table – In order to combat the rat-holing that was previously possible, players will now have to wait 5 minutes before being able to return to a table. This also prevents a player from standing up and sitting right back down and erasing any notes you may take on the player.

New Game Transactions Page – This page, found under account > hand history > game transactions, has been revamped so that it is easier to see your separate game transactions.

Also, as some of you have already noticed, your lobby filter choices will be remembered after you close the client.

I won't speak as if I know the entire issue, because honestly I don't... but from my understanding it was a misunderstanding between Justin and Bodog, along with some choices that Justin made, that led to him leaving the representative position. I won't speak any more about this situation, as I won't ever know the full story from both sides.

As far as what I can do? Obviously I can only pass along the information that I am given, but I try to be very thorough before passing along any of that information. I make sure that everything makes sense to me and that I convey it to you clearly.

If you have any questions beyond that, you can always send me a pm.

Like I mentioned before, I have absolutely nothing to do with the cashier side of the Bodog Network or its sites. Any deposit or withdraw issues that you are having will have to be done through your specific sites support.

anyway the min buy in at the cash tables can be raised to 50bb min? also is 5 minutes enough time to wait after leaving a table? wouldn't 30 mins + be better? the shortstackers and ratholers are really screwing up the games. thanks

Not NFL season soft but still good. When the switch was first made to Anonymous there was a small window where people where shoving everything at an insane rate. I cashed out almost everything right then and ended up getting more than I ever had before just bluff catching lol

It has settled down considerably from peak NFL sports betting season however.

All cards dealt into the hand. The feature is live now, so if you've played at all lately, you should be able to see it.

Account > Hand History Tab > Game Transactions

Then go to the game you are looking for.. click show hands.


Please remember that it won't show the hands until 24 hours after the hand is complete.. so this can't be used to build reads or anything. Also, hands are available for 31 days.

I'll add it to the cash game list. This weekend I'll roll out the first of several "what would you like to see?" posts.


Also a small change that I forgot to mention is that the chatbox has different colors now based on who is chatting (dealer is one color, warning is one color, players are another color).

How about before adding features, get them to fix the bugs that are out there. They were under no pressure to release this software when they did, so there's absolutely no excuse for this release. Bodog has long been known to have the worst software on the market, but they actually released something worse with this 4x version. Mind boggling.

This is great but I foresee a problem. Sometimes the client lags out and reacts as if player lost connection and boots him from the table. If this occurs now player would have to wait 5 minutes to get his seat IF it's still available.

I would like to suggest that this rule be modified to if player leaves table he is allowed to return with his current stack for 5 minutes - along with other players notes on him. After 5 minutes player comes in fresh.

Also +1 to the suggestion of 50bb minimum. playing shortstacks is no fun.

IMHO cakes software is 10x worse its way more laggier and disconnects.

Ever since the overall update with the software I haven't had any problems with lags or disconnects that are bodogg(vada's) fault. I'm using a tethering app with my cell so if anyone would have a problem it would be me but I'm not so if you guy's are playing on anything higher than DSL I really don't see the problem?.?.

Downloadable HH would be nice. I hope this update is sooner than later.

Also Ice, can you ask them to give CS the option to unregister players from SNGs and MTTs if a player requests it before they start. I had a power outage last week and 1 of my SNGs hadnt started yet but CS coulsnt unregister me. The player is the only one with that power. It cost me money when it shouldn't have.

Since at least the last 2 updates there is a lag problem on Bovada/Bodogs end. Sometimes in the evening its to the point that the hand will end and we will be stuck with the cards being shown at showdown for upwards of a minute. Doesn't happen often but it definitely happens. A LOT of clicking the button and it times out anyway for the 30 seconds and then sits at 0 for several seconds to finally react. It's not my end either, happens to everyone at the table.

I was having this issue as well. I just thought it was my connection tbh...but started noticing others freeze up. It has been frustrating, to say the least.

On a side note I had to contact CS for something and asked about the client freezing up on me and was told that my connection was to blame. Good to know that I'm not the only one.

Definitely some solid improvements but one important thing with this is that for me at least (and i've really NEVER had problems with the client crashing) it has been crashing for me once every session or two lately and even when I relaunch the app and log in right away at most i'll get one or two tables back up from the 4 i was sitting at. Completely agree with making fixes that prevent ratholing (and shortstacking) but the software/code needs to go back to how it was where if you disconnected/client crashes your seat should be saved/you should be able to go right back to where you were sitting. Maybe it will get better with the 5 minute timelimit but 30bb minimum has been too low.

Do agree on the sounds still needing fixing - especially when it's your turn to act etc. Not sure why they ever changed that bc it was fine before.

This has been one of the biggest annoyances for me. If I'm surfing the web or have any other windows open while I'm playing, the Bovada tables don't pop to the front when it's my turn to act, causing me to time out.

This also causes other players at the table to time out as well and slows the game down.

Also, I have checked the tables pop to front box in my account settings but it doesn't help.

how come i cant register to any scheduled turney free rolls, it says the server is unable to process your request at this time (-71) ??? any help???
