Re: *** Official Bodog Network Support Thread ***

Why don't the downloaded hand history files have the board on them? It only shows the result.

Lag seems to be back pretty consistently starting at 12:35-12:40am CST and lasting 5-10 minutes.

Re: *** Official Bodog Network Support Thread ***

A quick update from a few things that have been mentioned in the thread lately:

Community Cards not showing up in the hand histories: As was pointed out, they are shown at the end of the hand.

Higher Super Turbo 9max level(s): This is something that they will look in to. As I mentioned earlier in the thread, buyins are set to drive traffic.. If games a price point are slow to load (and the same games at similar pricepoints are also slow to load) then more games at the same price point probably wont be added. If a higher level were to be added, what buyin range would you guys like to see?

More Filters: Honestly, this is something that the network doesn’t feel is the highest priority but is willing to take input on. The belief is that with full tables being hidden, the lobby stays simple enough to navigate. So I’ll ask here too, what lobby filters would you be interested in seeing? And what important level would you put on these filters?

I’ll note here that I agreed with the network about the cash game lobby being simple, but I could make an argument for having more filters available in the sng lobby. I also passed along that my biggest issue with the cash game lobby is that when more than 1 stake is selected, when arranging by pot size.. the pot sizes don’t go in any kind of order.

I also passed along a suggestion about possibly adding an extra layer of login security at some point, such as the pin code that the big two used to have.

Re: *** Official Bodog Network Support Thread ***

Any updates on the following?

Bugs:

- Adding chips: the auto-post blinds is sometimes unclicked and if you add an amount that brings your stack over 100 bb it doesn't work. See post 661.
- Pre-action buttons unclick
- Text you are entering in chatbox disappears when you have action on another table or click anywhere
- Default buy-in doesn't work
- Sit out next bb doesn't work

New features:

- Preferred seating
- Alert sounds only option

Ice, can they fix the auto fold button? What I mean is that it seems whenever there is an action on the table the auto fold button you clicked unclicks itself rendering it useless most of the time.

$50 would be perfect.

I know that all of these things are being looked in to and that the pre-action buttons, the preferred seating, and improved sound options are all things that are coming soon.

I passed this on and they said that it is an issue that they are working on and will be fixed. For now, they said that the fold to any bet button should be working correctly and can be used.

********* The Mini Poker Series *********

As I mentioned before.. on June 24th the Bodog Network will kick off the Mini Poker Series with an $11 Kickoff event! This event will have a $5,000 guarantee on it.

The 21 days after that will have two events each day. On most days, there will be a regular speed event, followed by a turbo event later in the day. Tournaments are as low as $5.50 is capped off by the $109 $20,000 guarantee Main Event and $22 $6,000 second chance on July 15th.

Along with the great prizes from these events, you have the opportunity to win yourself a 2013 Main Event prize package worth $12,000, along with BDPO 2 packages and Sunday 100k tickets. Here is how:

There are two ways to qualify for the special semi-finale on July 17th, where the top 50 finishers will win a seat to the finale:

1. Play in at least 20 events

2. Finish any one event between 4th and 9th place

There are three ways to qualify for the special finale event on July 19th:

1. Play in at least 36 events

2. Finish any one event in the top 3

3. Finish in the top 50 in the semi-finale

The top 9 in the finale will receive the following prizes:

1st: 2013 Main Event prize package: $10,000 buyin + $2,000 for travel and accommodations.

2nd and 3rd: A BDPO II prize package: A buyin for every BDPO II tournament, valued at approximately $3,500

4th-9th: A $162 ticket to the $100k guarantee every Sunday

The Mini Poker Series schedule can be found either in your tournament lobby or on your poker site's promotions page.

Disable your antivirus/firewall.

Does anyone know how much rake I need to generate to earn 600 poker points?

Re: *** Official Bodog Network Support Thread ***

There is a bug in the note taking software.

When someone busts out and has to rebuy and you took notes on them the note icon stays and when you mouse over you can read the notes you took (the first 3 or 4 lines or whatever). That part works. However when you go to the Notes box to add more notes all of your previous notes disappear. So if you want to add more notes you have to mouse over the icon to see what notes you already took, retype them, then type in you new notes.

Preferred seating and a "play sound on action" option are so necessary. It makes it hard to play when you can't tell if the action is on you and even when it is, you don't know which seat you are in.

My guess is that these two features are very difficult to implement, because we've been hearing that it's one of their top priorities for several months.

Is there a way/can we get a way to report chat? I am sick of seeing gambling players being driven off of the tables because they are berated by other players. If there were a way to implement a chat moderation feature, I would be the first in line to offer my services. (Obv for a fee, Im not doing it for free ) Even though I made a joke this is a serious post.

I'll be sure to pass this along. Just to be clear, was this in a cash game or in a rebuy tournament?

I totally agree and I promise you it is something I ask them about consistently.

Are you getting any feedback at all from them?

What about the rebuy/reload issue in cash games? Do they even acknowledge that it's an issue? They haven't told you to check your firewall, have they?

Re: *** Official Bodog Network Support Thread ***

I am not sure if this has been asked yet however will the software ever allow for preferred seating? If you like playing muli-tables it sucks because you can't sit in the same spot on both tables.

Also, will the software ever allow hand histories to be captured and saved to a text file?

Lol nothing about the firewall.

As far as table select/rebuy/reload issues go.. these are items that are at or near the top of their list. I know that's what I've said before, but definitely the table select is a short term future feature that is coming.

The preferred seating is what Morphy is asking about, and I answered above.

In realtime? There are no plans of this that I am aware of. But right now you can download your hand histories 24 hours after the hands are played. They are available to you for 7 days.

It's in cash games. It happens every time someone goes bust and rebuys. No one probably noticed before because I think I'm the only player who use the notes, or just about.

Right below the "Auto-post blind/ante" check box there should be a "Auto limp" check box. This would be a great convenience to many of the players Bovada.

Re: *** Official Bodog Network Support Thread ***

I have some questions:

How do I get my Handhistories?

Do Bodog, Bovada and Bodog88 share the same player pool? Will something change for a bodog.co.uk player, when Bodog gets sold to Bodog88?
