Re: *** Official Bodog Network Support Thread ***

Ice, for the ME sats...there's one that starts at 2:50 that's $69+6 and then one at 2:52 that's $100+9. The cheaper one starts with 2500 chips and 12 minute levels, while the latter (more expensive) one starts with 1500 chips and 6 minute levels. This seems backwards to me. Like, the second one could be labeled as a turbo, I guess, but currently the only distinguishing label is that the first one's called "Semifinal" while the other is "Last Chance". However, it's only two minutes after the other, and there's another "Last Chance" in half an hour...so how is it a "Last Chance"?

Re: *** Official Bodog Network Support Thread ***

So I have asked a few times, at this point should I just assume that bovada is not gonna fix the plo8 tables? It's bad enough i get kicked off the tables every half hour and time out every 10th hand because of the lag but getting rid of tables with no reason makes no sense at all.

I'll be honest... I have not heard anything about it since I sent off the email. I've been told my emails sometimes get sent to spam, so I'll send them a reminder email.

Are you still experiencing bad lag? If you are, please let me know.

yes the lag is still there sometimes it kicks me off the tables sometimes it doesn't. The site will run smooth for hours but seems when it starts laggin at one table it does at the others as well within a few mins

Do the anonymous tables make it harder for you guys to monitor collusion or catch bots? I've been seeing a lot of crazy/suspicious play in the SNGs the past few week and it's making me wonder about this.

Bodog Ice, I understand the people at Bovada are not responding to your emails. This actually makes me even more uneasy about the payout situation currently going on.

Is there any way you can ask some of the people that work at Bovada to create a 2p2 acct and answer some of the questions in the Payout Thread. I think a lot of their clients would greatly appreciate some community outreach other than the generic "15-20 business days" response despite it being 5 weeks+ for most people.

Thanks for your help.

Is there a reason why if you type somethign in chat then click enter, then you reraise in another table? Found myself reraising in a bunch of my tables because of this and cost myself my stack. Has this issue been addressed?

I don't have any inside information at all about security.. but I'm told that they upped their security shortly after the switch. If you are seeing things that don't look right, take down the sng number and hh number(s) and send them to support. Also, remember you can look back on hands 24 hours or so after they happen.. so you can go back and check to see if they were just donks being donks or if there is something to be suspicious about.

Them not emailing me doesn't have anything to do with their payouts... it's a case of several things: 1) like I said, sometimes they mistakenly are sent to the spam folder 2) I generally wait until I have a few things to send off in an email, so the people I talk to have to go get answers from others people (security, programming etc) and then put those answers together for me. Also, usually for my bigger posts, they like to have me type them out and make sure I word things correctly.

As far as your suggestion.. I can pass it along.

This is a known issue... for now I would recommend disabling the enter to bet option that can be found in your settings.

And about the plo8 table (and any other tables having this issue)... the spawning issue is being taken care of and should be back shortly.

For the person that asked about the double or nothing sngs, the 6 and 9 max sngs have shown to be much more popular than the don's, so they don't expect to bring them back any time soon.

Keep passing along any complaints and suggestions I'm getting married on Sunday and have family coming in starting this evening, so I'll be pretty scarce for the next week or so, but I'll be sure to pop in here when I can.

I used to keep tabs on suspected bots and try to exploit them. I don't play on Bovada as much as I did when it was bodog but I think it is pretty safe to assume that catching, tracking, and avoiding cheats is significantly more difficult as a player now.

I sincerely hope that security really stepped their game up after anonymous switch, or I fear botting, collusion and angleshooting is thriving in the anonymous environment.

Bodog payout delays

Not for everyone to panic, but players should be extremely cautious about keeping money on Bodog.

I have been playing on Bodog for over 2 years now with no issues regarding payouts. I am a Canadian player, and have received immediate payouts on Moneybookers in the past. I just requested a payout 2 days ago, and was informed that there is some temporary issue with Moneybokers, and I would have to withdraw using another method. They suggested through email that cheque or bank wire be used.

When asking about the time frame for a cheque, they said 8-10 business days, however there may be delays due to the Victoria Day holiday (which has already passed this last Monday May 21). When calling back to speak to them, a different agent now said a cheque would take 10-20 business days, as well as a bank wire taking 10-20 business days, with additional possible delays due to this past holiday.

Whether this Moneybookers issue is temporary is highly unlikely. As companies, or poker sites take longer to pay out, this is often a precursor for distress in the company. What was highly alarming was bank wires taking 10-20 days, as these are usually instantaneous, as has been the case withdrawing from other poker sites, or Moneybookers.

If you continue to play on Bodog like myself, it's time you thought about keeping the minimum amount on the site as you need until Bodog addresses these payout issues.

Same here, I am in the process of evaluating some HH's. I exclusively play DON's. I got this email form Bovada a couple of weeks ago, but wonder how many other games I have been cheated on?

We have concluded that two players in the tournament "Hold' em (Double-Up) [xxxxxx]" that you were involved in have been colluding. As such, their tournament winnings have been removed, and you have been awarded 3rd place. We have added $40.00 to your account.

We are committed to providing a fun and safe place for players all over the world to enjoy poker. With that being said, we are constantly monitoring our tables as well as following up on leads from players to ensure that collusion is found and dealt with appropriately.

Should you have any questions, feel free to contact us at 1-866-909-2237.

Regards,
Bovada Poker Security

Ughhh...this is really disconcerting to hear. Something must have happened in the last couple days as I received a Moneybookers payout on 5/19. I'll email Bodog and hopefully support can confirm and maybe give some more info.

Which games do u play? I mostly play dons and have noticed a lot of obvious colluders, esp in the $20 games. Thinking about switching to another format.

Payouts seem to be delayed on all networks and nobody is addressing the issue.

Glad to hear it!

Regarding the payment issues, like I said before, I have no knowledge of, or access to anyone at, the payment area. I understand the frustration, and I'm sure people are working hard to have it corrected, but I have no way of helping out.

Can you please try to talk to someone about whether or not they are stealing our money? Their blatant lies suggest they are.

For whoever is interested, I requested a payout yesterday to Neteller after reading the above issue with Moneybookers, and have now received it to my account.

Timeframe was bang on 24 hours.

I am in Aus fwiw.

That's good to know. Thanks for posting.

What site do you log onto down there? Bovada.lv?

Re: *** Official Bodog Network Support Thread ***

Don't spread the panic. I requested moneybookers cashout like 20th and got it 22 XXXX$ so at least for me it seems to be working just fine.
I don't know how they handle the money but bodog is completely separate company from bovada.lv. So DOJ has no right to any bodog money (cause they don't nor did support US Markets in the past- it was always Moris Mohawk Company that was just using bodog brand there).
However they were heavily investing in UK and worldwide market but there is market crush everywhere. I read somewhere that they fired big part of their UK stuff so there might be some problems.
My cashouts are slightly slower but I have never had any problems with bodog. I mean sure anon tables, 4 tables cap and no waiting list piss me like hell but at least for now I am not worried about my money there.
