The $35s ran at 12:43AM and 7:13PM daily. Won't be any more, since the second final starts in less than 2 hours.

Cliffs: it's not our fault
That is a load of crap. I keep getting disconnected today and I notice that half of the players at the table are getting disconnected at the same time because when I reconnect a few minutes later a table that was 9man is dropped down to 2-4 players. I am seeing this on multiple tables at once.

But of course it's not their fault. Just a coincidence that tons of people are getting on here at the same time complaining about the same problem. Get your **** together Bovada, you have so much potential to be a great poker site.

So wait, let me get this straight here. Bodog is only running 2 sats to the WSOP ME. The first was on Memorial Day where they released one of their buggiest updates to date (not that it's easy to compare to the rest of the **** they release), and today is the second, and there are widespread disconnect problems? Am I getting this right?

Also, wtf about the relation to Iovation? Bodog_Ice: The disconnect problems have been going on as long as this site has been in business, so that's nothing new (although a pretty big coincidence to have them going on the 2 days of WSOP ME sats), but Bodog needs to provide an answer about the Iovation comment.

Is Bodog using Iovation for any part of their operation?

So why would they run a sat to a tournament that doesnt exist? I was ready to play it last night when I won the ticket and there wasn't a tournament available.

Also just waited on hold for 13 minutes and as soon as I was connected to the support rep the call disconnected. Sweeeeeet!

Edit: On the phone with them currently, they are telling players not to play for the next hour.

Well, based on some quick research it appears that Bodog is using Iovation. There was a big press release from 2006 and a few posts from 2008 but nothing since. Not sure I want to continue giving my business to a company who uses a service whose owner superused his customers.

When Ultimate Poker (not UB, but the NV based legal US site) went live it was big news that they were using Iovation, to the point where they stopped using them and made a big press release about it. Like PA said, I am extremely disappointed to see this, but based on Bodog's reputation over the years, I'm not surprised in the least.

What's the big deal about using the same geolocation and credit card fraud prevention company as UB? The same company that is still in use by all kinds of companies from Equifax to Fiserv?

Edit: Honest question, btw. I'm not completely up to fluff with what all happened with the UB scandal.

Edit 2: I see now. Didn't realize the founder of UB was now the CEO of Iovation.

the client keeps disconnecting and I'm having to quit and restart the client. None of my other poker sites nor internet are having connection problems. Is there a way to stop this from happening?

Who owns Iovation?

As the cashier connects, check out the browser bar that says "connecting to...." and iesnare.com is one of the sites. Iesnare is a part of the iovation program. As you can see here, iesnare.com is registered to iovation:

http://whois.domaintools.com/iesnare.com

IMO this is a pretty big deal. When you deposit or withdraw at Bovada you are essentially giving your computer and personal info to iovation.

Looks like it's been in place for most of the time I've been playing on the site...awesome.

Could iovation be behind those fraudulent credit card charges to players? Seems like too big of a coincidence.

Eh, possible but doubtful. Most likely those were a rogue payment processor. But, given Greg Pierson's history of being a class A scumbag, anything is possible.

I've been experiencing this too 2-3 times per session (1-2 hours long) every single day.

Then today I suddenly wasn't able to top off my stack on a table. I tried closing out and adding a different table and was unable to. Kept getting "we are unable to process your request." So I closed down the client and now when I try to sign in I get "Login failed. We are unable to process your request."

Emailed support about both issues and am awaiting their response.

The network is working on fixing this issue. Right now, connection issues is the biggest issue being worked on
I'm having the same issue. I'm running WIN XP.

Is it actually confirmed that Bovada has acknowledged there is a network issue? B/c from the correspondence that someone just posted from BV customer service, they tried to pass it off as "it could be caused by your ISP...power cycle your modem...not every player is affected so it can't be us...blah blah blah."

In another thread someone said they got an email from bovada. they claimed they know there is an issue, they don't know what it is, but they hope to have it fixed asap. its not black Friday all over again peoples, everything will be fine.

its been like two weeks now since you guys ran an update that made the site much worse. nothing has been fixed since then. on a mac, it still freezes frequently and i have to restart my computer to be able to open the client again, and the tiling problem still isnt fixed. how hard can it possibly be to get tables to resize when u tile them? this is a problem that takes 2+ weeks to fix?

Thank you.

As I said before, getting the connection issues fixed is the bigger issue at the moment.

I will barely even play without the tiling being fixed. Not worth my time to two table, barely worth it to 4 table. Im quite annoyed at this tiling issue... Havnt disconnected much though

Try table tamer, it's free and will tile the tables for you.
