Cashier related items are done at the operator level, so you would have to contact your operator's support for an answer.

I assume bodog account in canada would be allowed in mexico?

Also for those of you with bodog accounts, is it basically canada and mexico only or canada? I read ppl say bodog isn't allowed in europe and the other continents and its only canada and possibly mexico?

I know bodog88 is in asia but can someone tell me about the player pool? Do bodog players in canada share a player pool with bovada players? What about asia's bodog 88?

So the only restriction for bodog is just europe and every where else in the world can play and its bodog there?

Also what currency do most of you use since they dont allow USD? Is basically everyone using CAD in canada and mexico?

Also bodog doesn't do any ewallets. If thats the case, how do you guys get bigger amounts there? I checked that in canada you could do interac deposit but isn't the limit just 1k?
These are questions you'll have to ask operator support as jurisdiction is up to each individual operator and not the network.

All operators on the network are in the same player pool.

So some people get so see names and we get anonymous ? How is that fair at all ?
03-14-2014 , 08:05 PM
I'm not sure where you got that idea, but you are incorrect.
03-14-2014 , 08:41 PM
So then all your seperate sites operate their own networks ?

@Bodog_Ice, I have a situation with Bovada that maybe you can help me understand. I had a Bodog account for quite sometime (can't remember exactly how long but some years), using gift cards to make small deposits, until it was suspended due to a misunderstanding. (My nephew had played Bodog on my mother's, his grandmother, computer using echeck I believe, for a few days back in the day, he ended up owing them like $50, all while I'm living in my own place, playing regularly on my own computer. Some years later I have a computer breakdown on me, so my mother gives me that old computer to use at my place until I get another, which I proceed to play Bodog on using my account, unaware that my nephew or anyone else has played online poker on it before but they link our accounts.)

I was finally able to get this matter cleared up and my account reinstated but I no longer had a credit card deposit option, only WU or MG. I ask the person that reinstated my account why didn't I have a credit card deposit option anymore and was told it would be added back once I made a deposit via WU or MG. However even after making a deposit using MG, my credit card deposit option is still NOT available. I contact CS and the financial dept but both are telling me nothing can be done manually, I have to just keep depositing via MG or WU with the chance at some point the CC option will automatically enable.

My questions are, is this a common occurrence that you are aware of and why would the CC option be removed from my account in the first place considering I have never had any issues with CC/gift cards on my account, also my nephew's account issue turned out to be echeck related or something not CC, which I was found to have no affiliation with anyway?

As I previously mention, cashier related issues are handled at the operator level, so you will have to direct your questions toward support.

The difference is that bovada services only US clients and bodog services only canadian clients. They share the same player pool.

There is no transfer option.

Why would you want to transfer anyways?
03-18-2014 , 09:12 AM
How about focusing on cashouts rather than micro bonuses which the mid/high stakes players do not care about? Earlier in the month I had a transfer go for 7(5 business) days straight sitting in pending status. Now I have a check which has been sitting in pending status for 4 days straight.

I understand you don't address cashier related issues but this is beyond ridiculous.

I'm still having this problem. Support asked me to turn off the "Sandbox" feature but it still won't run. The installer thinks it installed, but when I try to open the client, it says "You can't open the application BovadaPoker because it is not supported on this type of Mac." I'm quite sure this is a Mavericks thing as it installs and runs fine on my laptop with 10.8. Upon some googling of this issue, a few people have complained about it with other apps on Mavericks, but there's little advice out there on what to do, other than wait for the developer to release a patch that makes it fully compatible with Mavericks. But it works for some people.

I'm wondering if it's an issue with 10.9.2. Can anyone can confirm that they are successfully running the client after the latest update?

crap sorry i meant to make a post earlier but forgot - i got this issue fixed (on my roommates laptop not mine) by ctrl+clicking on the installer (or might have been just the bovada icon after installing) and basically running as administrator. whatever the shortcut is (sorry i forget) its one of those buttons on the keyboard either ctrl, command, or the option key (hold down) and then double clicking the bovada icon.

if this isn't working i guess just google how to install or open an app as admin or whatever.

How rampant is the collusion on Bodog especially in limit games? I have heard mixed reviews from some that play there. Some say it is not that bad others say it is abused and the same guys keep coming back after they get banned etc..

Higher heads up limits plz

I play the 20/40 and 30/60 games and you can put me in the camp of, "it's not a problem... people freak out with anon tables"

Who says this?

And, did you ever ask them, with the anonymous tables, how would they know that the same guys just keep coming back and colluding after they are banned?

Anonymous tables no doubt makes collusion and cheating easier, but the above is confusing me and seems a bit silly.

Thanks for this, but as far as I know there is no "run as administrator" option like on Windows. You're either logged in as an administrator or you're not. You can change permissions to read/write for everyone (which I've tried), but that's basically it. Support also suggested turning off my firewall, but it was never on. Maybe I should unplug my internet box thing and plug it back in? Nvm, I'll stick to Parallels.

That stupid ticker is back again and my client already crashed once. If they keep this up I will quit playing all that ticker does is crash the client.

Dear dark_horse,

Thanks for contacting Bovada Poker Customer Service.

We understand your having problems accessing the Poker Software. The error message that you are getting is generated by a new security feature called Gatekeeper, which has been introduced in Mac OS X 10.9.1. Since you have already tried all the troubleshooting steps, we recommend that you contact your computer manufacturer (Apple) and read the error message that you are receiving. As of the moment, we will take this as a feedback in which we might consider on our future updates.
