Can someone help with depositing at Bovada??

Tried to deposit with a VISA gift card and would not go through.

I only have a Master Card so Visa deposit is not an option.

Does anyone know a brand of VISA Gift Card that will work or is

WU/Moneygram my only options?? PM me if you would rather.

Any help is appreciated!

I called the phone number on the cashier page. Gave them my zip code. They said to get a Netspend pre-paid card. Told me what stores in my area sold them. $3.95 to buy the card plus how much you want to deposit. Cash only! There are 2 fee's to use the card to deposit internationally totaling about $3 if I remember right. Did this only 5 month ago so it should still work

Fwiw, I recently got a mac and experienced no problems so far.
(OS X Version 10.9.1)

isn't OS X Mavericks the absolute newest? have you done a full software update already?

Ya, I believe so. When I did a quick google search, 10.9.1 looks like it was released around December 16th, 2013.

When I got my mac in early January, It did update the OS.

I"m sure u did the uninstall, re-install thing a few times with no success. Maybe it could be antivirus software messing with the installation process?

Now that I think about it, I kinda remember having a little trouble installing it at first. I thought it was just me getting used to the mac OS. Maybe if u could PM me what problems you're having, I could try to help you further.

Requests/suggestions:

-auto top up (can you confirm this is never going to happen?)
-$20-30 6 man turbos (right now there's a jump from $13 to $39 which is too big)

I'd never say never, but auto top up isn't a feature that the network is looking to add at this time.

The Bodog Network is always looking to add games when they feel they will do well and not hurt other levels. I did pass along your suggestion for the range you gave, and it is something that they are going to take a look at.

Why does bovada not have a P2P transfer option....and will this feature ever be added?

1) No one knows for sure, but people speculate that it's mostly because they're a sportsbook (P2P would allow multi-accounters to get around betting caps) and that they're not looking to potentially facilitate those types of transactions or attract the players that would want them.
2) It hasn't been for over a decade, so it likely won't be.

I just talked to a chat support representative of Bodog88. He told me that online poker will only be offered in China and Vietnam as of now.

I just posted on the unofficial Bovada thread, but I've actually run into an issue when trying to login to my Bovada poker account from work. I could not remember my password so after a few guesses, I just decided to reset it. This all worked fine and I successfully reset my password, but upon attempting to login with my new password I was told that my account had been disabled. I'm guessing that this has something to do with the incorrect attempts I made from this new IP because I was playing earlier this morning with no problems on my home PC, but this is really unacceptable and now I cannot play.

I am at work now so I cannot call your support line but I have sent an email. I look forward to getting this resolved ASAP (I want to be playing again by tonight).

I appreciate your support.

So you locked your account out by not knowing your password, and now it's "unacceptable" and someone else's fault?

Hello,

Sorry to hear about your issue. All I can recommend is that you contact support as you have already done. You can also call the support line after you are done work.

I tried to enter my password under 6 times and my account was locked. If anybody has an account with a password that can be cracked in 6 attempts, they deserve to be hacked. Furthermore, a site should never lock an account because 6 wrong attempts have been made at logging in.

I never knew that I would be locked out for attempting to remember my password prior to resetting it. A visual confirmation (such as: you have 2 attempts left before your account will be locked) would have done the trick just fine, but instead I am now stuck with a locked account.

This is completely and utterly unacceptable and yes it is someone else's fault, the team responsible for designing and developing Bovada's website's back-end functionality.

lol, welcome to reality, where most places lock a password out after 3 attempts.

Sorry you screwed up your account, and sorry you think it's someone else's fault.

EDIT: I received an email from support and I'm now back in action! Problem resolved.

So bodog88 only offers poker to players in China and Vietnam now. Does this mean the only places you can play on bodog is USA, Canada, China and Vietnam? Is there any other options? Please PM me or post here is anyone knows of any. Thanks

I don't know that I trust the answer from tier 1 support at Bodog88 that it only services China and Vietnam, because my attempts to get information from them have all run into a proverbial brick wall, but that is the word from someone having spoken to support as posted ITT.

Bodog.eu = Canada
Bovada.lv = USA
Bodog88 = China, Vietnam (???)
