Just out of curiosity, what was the total time period where you got those 15 table numbers. Did they all happen one after another?

Probably spanned over 15-20 minutes. Pretty much one after another. But even when I waited an hour I was still having the problem.

You do realize that there's a 4 table limit on cash games on the Bodog network, right? That means that if this happened on 15 separate tables over 15 minutes, you were sitting with at least 4 different players.

He was sitting at 4 tables then leaving after he sat out/conversed when I joined, then he was re-joining new tables, and the process would repeat. All he was playing was 1-2 NL heads up. I know the rules of the site, I know how things work, this is obvious and what I have gathered is far more than anecdotal evidence, albeit I do not have enough info for Bovada to give a ****. He knew who I was, idk how but I am not happy with this.

I started buying in different amounts and was purposely clogging his tables to make him leave, and that's exactly what he would do. Then I would join his new tables after five minutes with various amounts and he would sit out every time.

So you would join his table and he would be the first to speak and tell you he would not play? Or would you sit and say something first?

There was a thread here when the tables first went to anon where it was possible to capture player ids if you knew how to sniff them out. That was supposedly fixed and I believe the guys that found it confirmed it as such, but I guess that recent updates could have reintroduced that or something similar. I would expect that would have been discovered by now though.

Strange.

Wow. This is almost like finding Sasquatch! I'll be waiting for more updates and maybe even pictures! In the meantime, I'll be reading up on narcissism and paranoia.

Most likely explanation - He was doing this to everybody, not just you and you turned that into him knowing who you were. Maybe some disgruntled player (buggy software you know) ,trying to clog Bovada's tables and piss off its players (because he's pissed about buggy software and junior programmers). Now he's happy as a pig in mud that you are hear posting about. Mission accomplished.

Seriously though, that guy is saying that 'someone' knows who he is on Bovada. Shouldn't that be discussed in the rigged thread? I mean, I can see who everybody is but I know nobody else can.

If I play heads-up I can identify almost 100% of the time, if the same player sitting at me. Because player leaving one table, and instantly coming another table.

Re: *** Official Bodog Network Support Thread ***

Not only have I noticed the same thing at the HUSNGS. In this situation the player playing multiple stakes and would ***** when I would sit him. Thought he was just getting lucky and guessing until the next day when I join his first game the same guy using the exact same slang did it again. Also have noticed very suspicious statistics on players at the mid level hu sngs (50$ stakes or close to them). All playing identical preflop and postflop. Its been profitable for me so far so I dont really mind. However im 100% sure something fishy is going on. But as long as im profitable i will continue at bovada. I dont wanna believe bovada has anything to do with this and hoping its just some guy who figured out how to track our IP's and runs a bot or something.

Re: *** Official Bodog Network Support Thread ***

Hey guys,

The network apologizes for the issues that players are experiencing regarding the stts and mtts. At 4am et (~2.5 hours), stts will stop taking new registrations. When the sngs that are running finish, there will be a restart on the stt servers. This is one of several steps that they will be taking in order to fix the issue players are running in to.

As far as the worries about anonymous tables not being anonymous... the network would like to convey that these tables are absolutely 100% anonymous and to have it any other way would strongly go against the recreational model that the network promotes.

Bodog_Ice:

At around 4:00 ET I registered for 3 tournaments that were to start later that night. A few hours later there wasn't any tournaments showing in the lobby, so I logged off and back on a few times to see if that would fix the issue. It didn't, so I uninstalled the software. When I tried to reinstall the software it would never completely install after numerous attempts.

So I switched to another computer that still had the software installed, but the same issue occurred. No tournamenets showing in the lobby. I stayed logged in hoping to play my tournaments when they would "pop up". They never did.

How can I go about getting reimbursed for the tournaments I registered for but wasn't able to play?

He is likely likely quitting you cause you are being a scumbag. He is trying to make a cut and you being a bleep.

I don't play nl. I play some 5/10 limit huhu which has a similar rake structure to 1/2 nl. At such a steep rake point being a little better than someone is not enough as your edge will get eaten up by the rake.

So he is being a really nice guy by quitting you cause he's saving himself money to the rake and you even more money cause the fact that you don't understand these concepts makes him a stronger player than you.

The rake is less of a factor at the highest limits and u will see anyone will play you up there for that reason.

It's 50 bucks to see 100 flops in 5/10 flhhuhu. That's 5 bets b/t 2 people which is a lot of money considering flh winrates.

1-2 Nl is even worse.

He is detecting by your preflop combined with postflop play what type of player you are.

If you keep playing me for example I can easily detect people just by their buyins, postflop play, bet timing/use of autos.

The correct play is to punish the player who joined by playing an odd number of hands such as 7.

Then I will just sit there and wait for them to leave or steam in chat at which point I will get a quick 5 min cushion on new opponents and then regrim them if they come back after 5 minutes. If they try altering their buyins or playing the fist few hands 'weak' to 'cloak' themselves I will detect that in the following hands and they will lose even more by faking weak first few hands.

Just cause its anonymous tables doesn't mean I'm forced to play ALL opponents.

Against players like you I will get 4/7 of buttons providing me an immutable positional edge.

I'm actually surprised the guy chats and actually gives you a courtesy reason. I never chat and just wait for them to complain and then never say anything back like my chat is off.

Remember: no one is FORCED to play anyone and the penalty if u fail to recognize this in my games is 580/420 small blind/bb ratio.

Play the highest limits and I will never quit you though. I suspect you will find the same in NL.

So play higher , seed your own tables or play on another site

Re: *** Official Bodog Network Support Thread ***

Hi Justin,

One thing I just realized while playing in a multi-table tournament on bodog is the lack of ability to discuss the specifics of a hand once a player gets knocked out. For example, lets say you use your entire timebank to make an ALLIN call with AA preflop, debating internally the merits of tournament life amongst yourself. Assuming you win and the other player gets knocked out, there is no chance for the knocked out player to discuss the merits of calling in that situation. As a recreational player, it seems like if you have a 5 minute window to chat post-knockout, this could help keep us happy. Can you "run it up the flagpole" and see what the powers that be say?

Best wishes in your continued success.

Re: *** Official Bodog Network Support Thread ***

I apologize if this is in the wrong thread. I e-mailed Bovada with this, but who know how long a response may take.

I recently deposited w/ Visa and noticed that my card was double charged. I know that many vendors (poker related and non) will sometimes have an additional charge that is re-credited within a couple of business days, but I haven't heard/seen anything about this being the case with Bovada. Any help would be appreciated.

Hello GoFishizFun,

I will pass your suggestion along. However, it doesn't really seem like the type of thing they would be interested in doing as I imagine more times than not.. the result would just be players berating each other.

This is something that would have to be taken up with Bovada, as I have no control or contact regarding anything involving the cashier.

Can't Log In through Client; Support is Clueless

I can log in to my account through the Web site and even have changed my password, then logged in again. However, when I try to log in with the same credentials through the Mac poker client I only get a message that says they are unable to process the login and to try again later. Of course trying again later delivers the same result.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the client, cleared my browser cache, etc. but nothing works. I even have tried on a separate Mac with the same result.

Support has no other suggestions so far. Any help?

I've got Placemint working with all windows (including Bodogs Lobby) except for the bodog tables, any idea why? I've used this RegEx listed, and I've even tried using the hand grabber and entering in exact titles, but neither seems to work.

any help greatly appreciated.

Not sure what step you're having trouble with, but this is how I did mine...

Tools -> Configure -> Add New Group -> Bovada
Edit RegEx List -> Bovada Cash -> Paste Code (Title) -> Save & Close
With the Bovada group selected -> Title RegEx -> Check Bovada Cash
Slots -> Add New Slot -> Define Size & Location
Save

Also, it helps to run the program as Administrator.

Has there ever been a single documented case of Bodog catching colluders and refunding victims? I caught someone red handed complete with screen shot and haven't gotten so much as a reply in a week.
