I guess we can just wait to see what Ice has to say, since he's the closest thing to an official word that we have. If we can't trust CS, who has been touted as the best in the industry several times over in these threads, and if Ice can't get an answer from, then what?

Where? From the site rules obviously. Here are the sections of the Bovada game rules that are applicable to this discussion.

6.3. No Player Assistance Programs. Use by players of external player assistance programs ("EPA Programs") which are designed to provide players with an unfair advantage over their opponents are expressly prohibited. We define EPA Programs as including computer software and non-software-based databases or profiles (e.g., web sites and subscription services) and we consider access to or the ability to gather data or information on other players by any means that would not be accessible via their own first-hand experience (i.e. observation of game play) to be "unfair". We reserve the right to close Accounts and void any and all winnings in such Accounts if we establish, in our reasonable discretion, the use of an EPA Program.

6.4. "Bots" Prohibited. All actions on the Website must be executed by players via the supplied user interface. We will take any measures necessary to ensure that all robot software or programs designed to simulate real player play will be detected and prevented from accessing the Website. Any accounts associated with such activity will be subject to review and possible termination. If, in our reasonable discretion, we determine that an Account is employing such software, the Account will be disabled and all Account balances (including both deposits and any winnings) shall be forfeited.

I could care less if they make it illegal but they would have to amend their rules obviously or its not illegal. Its clear that HI is neither an EPA program, a bot, nor does it utilize any kind of central database which makes it within the site rules.

I don't know what I did or said that you're taking this stance with me. I asked CS, they replied, I posted the reply. You asked, I referred to that message. If you have a problem with that, take it up with them. Obviously I don't have the answers you're looking for, so you're barking up the wrong tree.

Huh? What makes you think I am taking a stance against you? I stated there was nothing in the rules that make it illegal, you replied by saying "not true". I then proceeded to explain to you why I made the statement I made. Quit being weird, I have nothing against you.

What's the point of Holdem Indicator for anonymous tables? Is it for studying your own session? I can't see how it would be worth $80 on this site.

First off, maybe do some research into the name Morphy and see if you can find a reason other than a 12 year old's tv show why I picked it. Second, I stopped signing posts weeks ago because people like you kept whining about it.

People now have you to thank for it starting back up.

Where did you get that price? It's only 79.00

Well for those who are Hudless and playing in MTT's I believe it is a big advantage and is worth 79.00

Does anyone else think the promotion series that Bodog(vada) is running agree that the buy-ins are extememly high? 300.00? for only a 10,000 guarantee really?

Last time I checked, Euros and USD were different currencies.
(79 euros = 105.4097 US dollars)

Actually, I think it's great. They haven't had enough higher stakes MTTs in the past. And, this is the Championship series. Perhaps you would've been more comfortable with the Contender series that ran the past couple of weeks?

Hey guys.. sorry I haven't been around much the last few days, I have quite a bit of irl going on at the moment... I will have a post on Tuesday or Wednesday at the latest going over the rest of your cash game suggestions as well as the info to clear up 3rd party programs a bit.

And george, I took down your suggestion and passed it on. If there was something else I missed from you.. or anyone else.. please repost in here or pm me. Like I said before.. please don't be afraid to pm me if you feel like I've overlooked something.. I'm always browsing the forums (usually from work or class) so it shouldn't ever be more than a day before I respond to your message.

Its def not as advantageous as say HM or PT on other sites. Aside from it just keeping track of stats from the current session, it doesnt have nearly the stat keeping capabilities as the other systems. If you just play four Bodog tables you can just as easily observe the action with similar effect imo. I find it helpful though because Im playing multiple tables at Merge at the same time and cant always watch the action at my Bodog tables. You just have to be careful not to put too much stock in the stats you do have because you never will have an adequate enough sample size to make most stats other than VPIP and PFR very reliable.

I have no idea WTH your talking about the price for HI is 79.00USD and I would play the sunday 150.00 buyin where you can win more money before a 300.00 buyin for only a 10,000 guarantee.

Unfortunately HEM/PT doesn't work at all on Bodog(vada).

In all seriousness, it will be good to get a definitive answer about whether 3rd party tracking software (session only) will be allowed/banned in the future.

Smaller field to navigate tho. (Or, different strokes for different folks.)

Traffic is down quite a bit according to PokerScout since the indictment and end of football season

PokerScout just pulls numbers out of thin air for bodog since it can't be tracked anymore:
Quote:
Our current traffic readings for Bodog are projections based on a combination of available data and known traffic patterns. While this data is more volatile than before, we believe it to be accurate on average. If it becomes necessary, we will simply publish estimates of Bodog's traffic as we do for some other untracked sites.

They obv don't pull it completely out of thin air. The projections might not be completely accurate, but they should be RELATIVELY accurate to all other projections since December.

Do you know what I'm saying? It's all relative.

Well ya obv they can just plot a graph against various sports seasons and predict traffic fluctuations, but that's something you could do yourself so what's the point of even using them as a source?

Re: *** Official Bodog Network Support Thread ***

I thought this was supposed to be a support thread. All the personal comments and distractions really take away the good a thread like this can do, especially with a Bodog representative communicating with players here.

Is there some reason a regs thread can't be started in small stakes or mid stakes to where over 50% of posts in this thread could be directed to?
