This is what I did, I negotiated for 50% of affiliate commissions back to me since rakeback is no longer available.

Re: *** Official Bodog Network Support Thread ***

I started a identical thread, but thought I'd copy to here also so more Bovada players could give me their opinions. Hey everyone, so here's what is going on. Ive been playing on Bovada for over ten years if I include the years when it was Bodog. Nine times out of 10 I send something small through Western Union or Moneygram, ($200-500) and just bet sports with it and usually lose it. I have received payouts over the years, but lifetime I'm a loser on the site, as I'm obviously a losing sports handicapper. So enough about my Bovada background. Around July 1st, I send $200 into my account and they give me a $40 extra credit (bonus) into my account. I lose the $240 betting baseball and playing some Sunday tournaments. On the 7th I send in $200, and the next day they give me a $115 extra credit (bonus) into my account. In my statement it just states "adjustment from july 7th" Rinse, wash , repeat...I again bet some baseball, play some weekend tourneys, and by the next week I've lost that money. On July 26th I western union $360 and on the next day, the 27th, they add another $360 into my account. My statement says "deposit" for one of the transactions" and manually issued" for the other $360. From July 26th until last night, August 4th, (almost two weeks) I put in over $15,000 in action through sports and poker according to my statement. Over this time I qualify for Two Weeks of their current APT promotion, which is earn 150 poker points and receive $50 bonus. I also qualify for $45 in their baseball parlay promotion. I received all of these bonuses in my account with no problem. So this weekend I have around $1200 in my account, It's been 10 days since my last deposit/added money, and I haven't given it a second thought. I play the "big" sunday tourneys, don't cash anything, put a chunk of the remaining balance on the Yankees and they lose and I'm left with about $50. Today I wake up and the Rogers Cup tennis tournament has started so I make a parlay for the remaining balance and it wins. I log on to my account and my balance is (-)$250! I don't have any email from Bovada, so I call support they put me on hold and they come back to say, "that the $360 they added two weeks ago was a mistake, and that they subtracted the $110 from the tennis parlay I won and that I owe them $250 and could I please send a Western Union to balance out my account. So I ask them how am I supposed to know when money gets added to my account that it's not a "bonus" as clearly I receive deposit bonuses quite often and how can I "bet/play" on the money EVERYDAY for TWO WEEKS with no problems and then they can just take the money back when they get around to it. I also bring up the July 7th $115 adjustment as an example of money being added to my account , to which they put me on hold for 5 minutes and then come back to say that was a"poker adjustment" and that that department could contact me if needed. I'm told my options are A:send in the $250 to get my account to even if I want to continue playing on the site or B: close my account. I ask to speak to a manager, I'm put on hold for 3 minutes and then I'm hung up on. I call back, I'm put on hold for 5 minutes and again I'm disconnected. This is how they treat a customer of over 10 years??? So I come to 2+2 to receive advice, vent, and to see if anyone else has had this happen to him/her before. First of all, I wouldn't have bet with the $360 if I didn't think it was mine. It's not like I wokeup on the 27th, seen the extra $360 and just dumped it on a game like it's some quick come-up or mistake. I could of also called a friend, sat down heads-up and just dumped the account. Im not shady like that though, nor petty where I would want to lose access to my account over $360. I just kept playing/betting normally. As stated before, I put in a volume of over 15k in wagers over that time frame, including earning around 1400 poker points in that time playing sitngos/tournaments. I don't know the exact conversion rate for poker points but I played ALOT of poker to earn that 1400 points. Iv'e been with the site for over 10 years, have referred multiple friend to the site, and have had nothing but positive experiences over the years until this. If indeed it was an oversight fine, but now I have to PAYBACK the money to continue to use the only site in the US I trust? So now I'm going to be closed out of one of the only remaining US poker markets? I wouldn't have played some of the tournaments I did and definitely wouldn't have made some of the bets I made if I knew at some random time in the future I would be forced to repay a "mistake" essentially paying for the same losing wagers TWICE. I'll be damned if I'm going to send in the $250 to get my balance out of the red. Advice Anyone?

*Paragraphs to make it easier to read.

I'd personally just leave and never deposit again since it was their mistake. Looks like your only options are to pay it back or quit playing there.

Yes.. I talked to them about it again tonight, and they are certainly aware of it.

JT, the only thing I can recommend is to keep trying to work it out with support.

Cool, thanks.

I read JT's post, and that's pretty bad. Ice, is there any way you could forward his post to a manager to look at? Not asking you to get involved at all, but it sounds like he can't even get a manager on the phone to listen to his situation. I know nothing about this guy nor his situation, but that's pretty messed up if it's all true (and no reason to believe otherwise), and if support isn't willing to work with customers when there are issues, that affects all of us.

Re: *** Official Bodog Network Support Thread ***

THIS^^^ I received no email correspondence whatsoever. No explanation of "the mistake" or how we can come to an agreement. When I called customer service and was told the situation the rep then asked me if I wanted the Receiver's info to send a western union. Thats when I asked for a manager and was put on hold/hung up on.
I have absolutely no reason to make this up, as Bovada gives me bonuses/free money all the time (guess I have a sports leak) so how would I expect this to be any different? WTF?
Ice, so keep working with customer service? What does that even mean?

Re: *** Official Bodog Network Support Thread ***

Hello all!

As you may have noticed, an update went out this morning. This is version 4.12. In this update, the network is happy to introduce Zone Poker!

What is Zone Poker?

Zone Poker is the Bodog Network’s version of the fast paced and exciting fast fold poker!

What stakes and games can be played?

To start with, The Bodog Network will offer games at .02-.05 and 0.05-0.10 only.. with offerings in both No Limit Hold’em and Pot Limit Omaha. New games and stakes will roll out soon.

How many tables to start with?

For now, you will only be able to play 1 table per pool (so you could do 1 at 5nl, 1 at 10nl, 1 at 5plo, and 1 at 10plo). Each table will count toward your 4 max table cap.

If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions.. please let me know. If you run in to any bugs with this new game, please let me know asap with any information you have (player number, hh number, bug description).

Good luck all!

It's a little slow for my tastes, but that's probably because there's not that many playing right now. What I'm really excited about is I'll finally be able to get a sense of peak times (since they hide full tables).

Can't wait till they have 25nl and 50nl zone.

In the Hand History Search and Game Transaction section there are normally 3 options, "Ring Games","Tournaments", and "Blackjack".

There's now a fourth that says "/HandHistory/Handhistory.cshtml----Object reference not set to an instance of an object." I'm pretty sure it's supposed to say "Zone".

Ice,
I feel JT314's post/problem deserves some more attention. That is no way to treat a loyal customer of 10 years. Also, people please, yes his post is very long and without separate paragraphs, but quoting the entire thing only to write your 2 lines is very bad. Just reference his name or post #.

I quoted it to put it into paragraphs so people could read it easier.

Like I've said before.. these types of matters are dealt with on the operator level, as each operator is in control on their cashier system. The only thing I have within my power to do is to recommend that JT keep trying support through emails/phone calls.

Thanks for you support fellow 2+2ers and sorry for the initial long, not properly spaced first post.
I was fresh off of getting hung up on and needless to say a little heated. I've took some of your advice and sent a long email explaining the situation and proposing ways to make this right.
I'll let everyone know how it plays out and told support I'd be doing so, as I'm sure some of you would like to know the final outcome.
