Hi all. Some of you may know me under my other 2+2 screen name: Ice_W0lf. I am here to act as the liaison between the Bodog Poker Network and you, the players. I will have several responsibilities here at 2+2.

My first responsibility, and my most important, is to act as a liaison between the Bodog Poker Network and its players. I do this through posting here things I get from Bodog, such as software update information and passing along issues like when to expect downtime. I also do this by taking your suggestions… whether they are about software suggestions, software issues, or game related issues or ideas (such as a tournament suggestion you might have).

My second responsibility is that of a promoter for the Bodog Poker Network. These are promotions that are available to anyone able to play on the network (things like the Black Diamond Poker Open), but do not include promotions that may be specific to a specific operator on the network.

Now to be clear, I should let you know I have absolutely nothing to do with anything related to the cashier side , and any issues with these specific things should be sent along to your operator’s support.

FAQ - This will be updated when necessary

1. Cashier Related Issues
Everything cashier related (deposits, payouts) are handled on the operator level, so I have no connection to these areas as all. Any cashier related questions should be directed to your operator’s support team.

2. Jurisdiction Issues
Questions about which countries players are able to play from are decided by the individual operators, and any questions related to this issue should be sent to operator support.

3. I am running into “X” issue with the software.
If you are experiencing an issue with the software, please document as much as you can about the issue. If occurring during game play, note the hand history, your player number, where in the hand it happened, and what happened, and send that information to me via private message (or post it right into the thread). A quicker method is to take a screen shot when the issue is occurring. There are several programs that make this easy. Take the screen shot and sent it to me with a short description of the issue.

4. Is there any segregation on the Bodog Poker Network?
NO! There is absolutely no segregation on the Bodog Poker Network. All players on all operators are in the same player pool.

5. What is the maximum number of tables that I can play?
You can play a combination of up to 4 cash and sit n’ go tables. Also, you can play up to 20 tournament tables. For Zone Poker, you are able to play 2 tables from the same pool at one time (ex: 2 .10-.25 6max tables) for a maximum of 4 tables.

6. Where can I find out about promotions?
First check your operator’s web site for promotional information as some promotions are network wide and others are operator (and sometimes player) specific. If a promotion is network wide, I will post about it in this thread.

Your first mission is:

Problem: When chatting on one table - and your turn to act on a different table - you press enter to send your chat and the unfortunate event of you minraising on a different table occurs.

This can be catastrophic for NL and PL players as the bet you are minraising may be huge.

This has costs me a ton of money.

Fix: Change the ENTER key as the key for raising!

Preferences > Game Play Settings > Check "Disable Enter to Bet"

I must not of seen it as I originally had the program **** in my face when i tried to uncheck the show game play animation after the last major software change. I didn't look at all options as I didn't want to click something and make it go boom.

1. Can you have the preaction keys fixed, please? The "Fold" button and "Check/Fold" button frequently don't work, which can cause subsequent timeouts and in general slows the games down.
2. Can you have a 2nd sound notifying the player that the action is on him?
A second louder sound say 10 seconds before he times out would be helpful.
I sometimes don't even here the little beep at one table when I'm concentrating on action at a second table.

None that I am aware of... but I'm guessing that I won't know about new promos until they are announced.

As far as I know, they are the same... but I wouldn't be surprised if at some point they have different promos.

I apologize if I lack answers to some of your guys questions at this point.. I just got the word that I could start a few hours ago.

Over the next few days (after irl stuff calms down a bit) I plan on getting an idea of what kinds of things people would like to see changed in the client. My plan is to break each post into different sections ( to keep it more organized). First I'll ask about the client as a whole, then I'll move into mtts, sngs, cash games, the website.. and then anything else as a bit of a catch-all that may have been missed. With this, please note that I will definitely fight for the ideas that people suggest.. as, like I said, I play on this site every day myself.. but not everything will make it for one reason or another and some things will eventually make it but will take some time to implement.

Bringing back points to cash would be nice. We should have more options for poker points.

also their should be point tables where you can bet your points just like you bet cash at cash tables.

Ok there's one big issue that really needs to be addressed. The major issue that led up to Justin quitting was the blatant lies that he was being fed by Bodog. They lied time and time again, he quit and they abandoned the poker community. What assurances can you make as the new rep that you won't be handed line after line of bull**** like he was?

I won't even sign this post, hopefully showing that this is a serious issue.

Is there anyway we can change the red background? maybe it's just me, but haven't found a way to change it and it's driving me nuts...other than that, gl sir

Background of the tables can be changed. GO to preferences>table settings>change background. I use the racetrack style myself but the only comes in red.

Action alerts only option would be amazing! (like before) Also a loud warning with 10 seconds left to act would also be a welcomed change. I don't even pay attention to the sounds since they are very very misleading and annoying.

I have acct at Bovada, I'd like to w/d using RapidTransfer. I spoke to Becky and she gave my name to the rep. I haven't deposited using this method, I've already had problems with the checks. It is now showing as a w/d method but I'm not sure if it was there before. I don't think it was but I'm not sure. Regardless, I haven't deposited via this method. Support has told me I must deposit using it to cashout using it. I deposited via CC, I should't be required to wait 3 weeks for suspect checks, if you can process the cash outs faster. Thoughts?

^^When you deposit with a CC the withdrawal method is check. It states that on the deposit page. The checks I have received have not been "suspect", they clear just like any other check. Only had 1 hiccup with a check my bank wouldn't accept but I don't think Bovada deals with that specific processor anymore.

Yeah, I'm merely saying this is not fair. I spoke to the other rep on here and she seemed like she would try to get it rectified for me. So, if I send 50 bucks via western union, after I've already deposited, using an easier and faster method, my credit card. Then I can w/d using it? Sorry, it is ridiculous.
