higher DoN's in general. 130+5 is the highest they offer and its obscenely low. I would love a 200 one.

Ice,

Was there some decision made to increae late registration times for some tournaments? Specifically, the 11:20 (ET) 10,000 Chip used to have a 15 (or maybe it was 30) minute late reg and is now 65 minutes. The tourney has tripled in size on most days and quadroupled on others and takes about 90 minutes longer to complete. Too long for me to bother. Noticed a few others that were 30 minutes are now at 65 as well

Noticed this right after the 4.15.01 update.

Bodog.eu = Canada
Bovada.lv = USA
Bodog88 = China, Vietnam (???)

Do all those sites share the same player pool?

All operators on the Bodog Network are part of the same player pool. There is no segregation at all.

I know this problem was posted elsewhere a couple months ago but has bovada fixed their hand history boxes yet? I deleted and reinstalled and still can only see my last hand in the text files on bovada hand history.

Yes they fixed it. But then they broke it again.

Sorry I haven't read the thread since the Australia news. I'm not from Australia, I'm in Asia. Still though I'm really curious how -ev casino games are still ok but Australians are banned from poker?

Was there any explanation provided. No money in poker for Bodog, all Aussies solid?

Cashed out $1k from Bovada last week. Took it to Skank of Comerica and the ATM wouldn't take it. Went into to teller and she couldn't process it so the her manager came over and starting grilling me saying he'd never seen a check like that and said it would have to go to collections which takes 8 weeks and there would be an undetermined fee so I took the check back. I called Bovada and explained but they told me I should just send it to collections. I told them I'm not paying a fee and waiting 2 months to clear the check when they didn't warn me at all this could happen. The instructions in the message on the site says deposit in ATM.

So I asked to have the check canceled. Well he says to cancel the check there is a $40 fee lol. I told him I'm not paying a fee to cancel a check I couldn't deposit at the largest bank in the world. He told me I have no other option. All I can do is pay that fee and then pay the $150 western union fee totaling $190 to get $1000...19%. I play everyday on Bovada for along time and he knows that. I told him if you charge me this $40 fee I'm not gonna play another hand on Bovada and they'll lose all my daily rake in the future. He refuses to wave it. He refuses to offer me a bank wire as a compromise saying it's a minimum of $3000. After listening to his constant run around about their process I just told him to cancel the check and I'm now going to cut my losses and leave the site.

GG Bovada. Solid business practice.

ah, you might try a bank that takes deposits. I get these checks every other month. Deposit with teller and have absolutely no issue. I'd get a new bank there are about 6 on one corner in my area and some of them like deposits.

Which do you use to cash these Canadian checks?

i deposit at a small local bank w/o probs & it always takes like 20+ minutes...i would try going back on a different day possibly or just open a new account at a different bank w/a deposit of cash, then go back a couple days later and deposit the check...might try and use western union in the future if that is an option for u... 20 minutes? Yikes. I take mine through the drive through (bank named after the 70s band who had an album named Ennea) and it takes a matter of seconds. I've already posted ITT about the time I was questioned about where the money came from. The only other issue I had was when the teller told me that the amount on the check wouldn't be the same as the deposit amount due to conversion fees. I asked her if they usually convert US funds into US funds, she walked away for maybe 2 minutes then came back and apologized.

Goto a different branch, you got a bunch of ******s. That bank works fine for everyone else.

lol. It took them like a year to fix it the first time. Don't hold your breath waiting for them to fix it again.

I just started playing a few weeks ago and I figured that was just another quirk of the site to keep away the good players.

Nope, at least I don't think so. At some point after the anon release (I can't remember if it was there from the beginning), the hand history bug appeared. Some point a long time after that they fixed it, and just recently when they released the update with the graphical hand replayer, it surfaced again.

My guess is that they have no centralized code repository, and multiple programmers are working on different fixes without working together. So, programmer A grabs a section of code to fix the hand history bug and stats working on it. Programmer B grabs a section of code to add the hand replayer in and that code includes the hand history code. Programmer A releases his bug fix but doesn't update Programmer B's code. Several months later everyone forgets who is working on what, and programmer B releases his hand replayer code which in turn reverts the hand history code back to the broken version.

Or something.
