For now, yes. There is a thread about this in the software forum.

Will pass it along.

Come on bodog. You open up the table skins. You change the hues. You add the new images into the folder and we're good to go. How does that request not get addressed?
I've passed it along, but that doesn't mean it is going to happen immediately.

Assuming you are using windows, it reads your time based on the time zone you have your windows clock set to (I just checked my win7 computer and moved around the timezones and the time/mtt times changed when I changed time zone setting).

any chance of bovada adding any mixed games to the client? i would think they would at least have HOSE considering they spread all those games individually.

I play a lot on Bovada and this is the first idea that's make me feel the need to chime in on to support. There's no downside to having more game options for regs or recreational players, and HOSE, OE, or even better, 7- or 8-game mixed games might be popular with both groups.

My wish list for additions to this software, in order of how much I'd love to see them:
1) Adding mixed games
2) Ability to make individual tables different colors (I know this is unlikely and obscure, but it's not fun when you get in your stack with nut low and a mediocre high only to discover this was one of your PLO tables, not the PLO8 one. I loved being able to color-code different games & tourey tables on FullTilt and Stars.)
3) Automatic top-up to X BBs
4) More cosmetic table/card/icon colors and graphics options. If coders can do lighting bolts, raining money, etc. how hard can this be?

Bodog_Ice,

Can we get a comment from any/all Bodog operators on the following...Since the inception of anonymous tables, how much money has been returned to players from money confiscated as a result cheating/collusion/botting?

Thanks.

The chance that Ice or anyone at Bovada ever answers this question is pretty slim. This is not the kind of information reps have access to or the type of information sites release to the public on cue.

Theyve been in business for over twenty years and as far as I know they have paid every one that cashed out.

Sometimes there are delays with wires and cashouts in general on occasion.

Based on those facts, I wouldnt worry too much.

5th, you know I respect you as a poster my friend, but twenty years? I know they have been around a long time as a sports book, but twenty years?! Anyway, I checked archive.org and it showed them going back to 1996, but no screenshots until 2001. I will say that online sports books have been around a lot longer than online poker sites. Remember the famous WU scam when a sports better would lose a bet, and then go cancel the WU deposit request before the money had been picked up by the sports book?

Intertnational bank wires can take time. Specially when they come from online poker sites. Even pre UIGEA it wasn't uncommon for me to wait 2 weeks for an international wire.

Bodog is a billion dollar corporation. You really have nothing to worry about. You will be paid.

I dont remember that but sounds interesting.

I never was a big sports or casino better tbh.

Im not surprised by stories I hear from those days though.

I do remember when I first started playing online poker, casino and sports betting was still a pretty new thing for a lot of people and pretty crazy all around.

Sites used to offer crazy casino and sports bonuses and I know a lot of the older heads here like Bobo and others used to do really well taking advantage of them.

+1 to this!! I use to love playing Horse and 8 game in particular on Stars and Tilt prior to BF. My play time on Bovada would raise substantially if they added these games. Mixed games are a lot of fun and decent amount of recreational players enjoy the mixed variety of games as its a good change from playing NL all the time.

I also think adding a couple shootout style tournaments to the daily schedule or maybe just on Sunday would be a lot of fun. I am not a big tournament player but I always loved playing shootout tournaments.

in the old days you could be clinically brain dead and make a few k a month off sportsbook bonuses.

i also loved the bodog 20 pct bottomless reload bonus which eventually became 10 pct.3 poker points per dollar, those were the days.
07-31-2013 , 04:47 PM
you just had to bring up the reload bonus while i'm having a bad month...

so tilting to think about never taking advantage of those reload bonuses. i somehow didn't find out about them until right before they stopped doing them.
07-31-2013 , 05:01 PM
that's weird i used to get constant emails about them
at one point i emptied my entire neteller account 8k at a time into bodog for the bonus
eventually i withdrew most of it back into neteller so i could start all over again and they switch me to 6 pts per dollar to clear it

Does Bodog accept deposits with a Green Dot visa?

Thanks in advance

Hey guys,
Here to reply to some of the questions/suggestions you’ve had lately:

Color customizations/Table Customizations

- More customization is something the network plans on looking at after getting through the queue of projects that are on their plates at the moment.

Hand History Review Issue

- This is a known bug by the network and is something that will be fixed in an upcoming release.

How much money being returned to the players due to cheating?

- The Bodog Network takes great pride in their security. They feel that it would absolutely go against their business model of being a safe and fair place for all players to play if they tolerated any of these kinds of activities. However, as someone pointed out before, monetary figures are not something that can or will be shared in a public forum.

********************************

Also to pass along.. some changes to the tournament schedule. These will go into effect on August 12th, and all times stated are ET.

Sundays at 16:30, the $11 $12,000 gtd will become a $15,000 guarantee.

Mon-Sat at 21:00, the $60 $15,000 gtd will become a $20,000 guarantee with late registration extended to 130 minutes (approx. end of the second break)

Sunday at 21:00, the $60 $15,000 gtd turbo SS wil become a $20,000 guarantee turbo SS

Nightly at 21:30, the $11 $6,000 gtd will become an $8,000 guarantee with late registration extended to 130 minutes (approx. end of the second break)

Saturday at 17:25, the $109 $8,000 gtd 6max will be lowered to a $7,000 guarantee 6max

Nightly at 23:00, the $82 $9,000 gtd turbo will become a $10,000 guaranteed turbo

Sundays at 17:25, the late registration for the $215 $25,000 gtd SS will be extended to the end of level 11

Sundays at 16:15, the $5.50 $3,000 gtd SS will become a $5,000 guaranteed SS

Overall.. adding another $60,000 in guarantees per week!

That’s it for now. As always, please pass along any questions, comments, or suggestions.

Ice
