I have it on.

Pros: You can see what would have happened if you played out the hand to the next card.

Cons: You can see what would have happened if you played out the hand to the next card.

Pro: you can see a card that is not in your opponents hand and can sometimes help narrow his range to what he had

i know its a stretch...

Rabbit Cam Pro - Many recreational players enjoy it.

Con - None, just turn it off.

Does anybody know how to analyze your win rate and such (tourney's lost/won percentage, etc) in Bovada. I mean I don't think Bovada allows poker tracker or other software and you can't even go to account transaction history and copy/paste into a spreadsheet because it is graphical rather than text so the only way I can see to do it is with pen/paper each line? Ice, this needs to be fixed if this is the only option.

They are most likely typing it in.

Good point, I totally agree, they don't want people switching seats to get position on recreational players.

One possible solution to this would be to keep the 5 minute rule to avoid people switching seats to exploit rec players, but institute a 30 minute rule as it relates to buy-in.

Rabbit Cams are unethical in my opinion. Bad players who love to chase draws without proper pot odds have an easier time folding if they can still find out what the next card would have been without actually paying to see it. Someone mentioned that it also lets you narrow someone's range more because you now know of a card that couldn't have been in their hand. Again, that's info that shouldn't be shown for free and is........immoral.
It may also serve as a devilish temptation to be results-oriented. In ones weaker moments one may be tempted to congratulate himself on a "good fold" when he actually should have called. Get rid of rabbit cams--the devil's handiwork.

Very good point.

I always looked at it the other way thinking it might encourage players to fish in future hands if they see them hit on rabbit cam, but your post has me reconsidering.

I see they've added a bunch of hyper-turbo tournaments. I for one will never play a single one of them. Obv they are great rake-producers for Bovada but I don't appreciate MTT's that are donkey-filled shove-fests. I prefer to play real poker, not coin-flip extravaganzas.

As someone who made a fortune on these back on Full Tilt (single tables), I can tell you there is more to it than what you describe.

Assigning calling and pushing ranges of your opponents and doing ICM in your head are skills but just like ANY poker game, there will be the shoving, calling donkeys. In the long run, I win.

Yes I agree that there is actually substantial skill required as far as understanding, and having the balls, to use Nash push-fold ranges. That is a skill that must be learned even if you just play standard 9-man SNG's. I guess I'm more annoyed by the fact that all these new MTT's are so blatantly in favor of the site, i.e. Hyper-turbos that just get people paying as much rake as possible since that game will be over quickly and so they'll just join another one and pay more rake. I know Bovada needs to make money but how about improving the more "standard" tourneys as well?

I won’t comment on the schedule of other sites, but I am absolutely familiar with schedules outside of the Bodog Network. I think it is a very strong schedule that is always being reviewed and improved upon when a new opportunity appears.

Will pass it along.

As far as I know, there haven’t been any additional hyper turbo tournaments added to the schedule.. just hyper turbo options in the sngs. The hyper turbo satellites that were added are last chance qualifiers. These are traditionally hypers because they start right before or right after the target tournament begins.

Click pot to get to 3.5x, then click "-" to get it to 2.5x.

No non-turbo PLO or Stud Hi events. No shootout, no HORSE. Only 1 HU or non-turbo 6max but a multitude of Turbo NL tourneys... Color me not impressed, but about 1/3 of the events look like a lot of fun.

I have played on Bovada almost every day for the past few months without issue. A few days I started having problems with the poker client randomly freezing. It says I am still connected to the internet but sometimes I will have to go as far as to restart my computer and log back in to get back on my table..This has cost me a few hundred dollars over this past weekend since I play a lot of STT. Customer service had me use control H on google chrome and delete the cookies in my browser. This definitely has not fixed the problem.

Has anyone else experienced this issue? Anything I need to do to my computer? Any Ideas?

Very exited for the upcoming MTT series, continuously have been impressed by Bovada and I am super glad I switched to the site. IMO one of the only viable options, maybe THE only viable option for the US guys.

I clicked "enter now" on promo page for the Summer Selection and nothing happened. How do I know if I am entered? Every time I click "enter now" it just scrolls back to top of page. Thanks

No sir, Bovada is just 1 of 4 viable options for U.S. players, certainly not the only one. Add Intertops, BlackChipPoker, and PokerHost to the list.

America's Cardroom (ACR) and BlackChipPoker (BCP) are on the same network; two 'skins' but really just one 'site.'
