This is understandably frustrating. It has been brought up before and is something that the network is looking to fix.

Sync breaks were brought up before.. it was one of the first things I asked about. At the time, it was something that the network was not interested in implementing. I will see if there is any change to this.

It looks like the operators now have the contender and champion schedules up. I think it is a pretty solid schedule and look forward to playing it. Look for it on your operator's website. It kicks off a week from tomorrow with the $22 10k kickoff tournament and Event #1 $11 4k turbo.

Will we be able to convert points to buy into tournaments in the BDPO?

I had some money left on Bodog.co.uk and requested access to my funds via bodog support. The support mailed that they issued a transfer to my Skrill account and i got the standard email that Bodog will approve the transfer in the next 24 - 48 hours. That was 4 Days ago and nothing happened since then. Is this unusual (when i still played on bodog the cashouts were really quick) or is it likely that i will have to wait a long time for the cashout to come through?

Could we maybe see a player of the series for next series, if not for upcoming one?

And the best player award goes to "Player 9" who absolutely crushed the Black Diamond Poker Open 3....

It appears they have fixed the sounds. You can now choose to have sounds when the action is on you and it looks like it is working correctly.


They have also added an icon for players recently joining a table.

And a 5-second warning before timing out. Wow they actually changed something in the software.

Yes, there is some good stuff in this update. I'll have a run down of it tonight or tomorrow morning.

But still no auto top-up option? Come on!

Only bug I've noticed so far is the low time alert/your turn to act sound notification plays whenever you win a pot. pretty annoying especially when multitabling. other than that it's a good sign things are getting somewhat better.

Oh and the hand history/previous hand function still seems bugged in that it only displays 1-3 previous hands. usually only 1.

One interesting bug that took me a while to figure out. I have my Windows 8 resolution set to Medium (125%) and the players on the right side of one my tables all have their player numbers cut off. Only on one table though, another is fine. Very strange. (Edited to say it is now cutting off on all tables).

Still have not fixed the pre-action check boxes. It must be a feature and not a bug that they get unchecked if some action happens after you check them. Its been report for about 16 months now that they dont work. should have been able to fix them in that time.

Ok guys.. Like I said, some good stuff in this update:

Additional sound preferences: There are now options available for all sounds on all tables and a 5 second warning sound. I’ve noted, and passed on, your guys complaint that the 5s sound also goes off when you win a pot.

Improved table sorting: The tables in the lobby group better now. For example, clicking sort by avg pot.. the lobby will now list the pots in the correct order.

Table Cards: You can now see more of your hold cards, including being able to see the whole suit. This should make it easier for you to read the card.

New player indicator: When a new player joins the table, a small indicator will appear. This can be clicked off, or it will disappear after a short time.

The sit out next blind option that was disabled for a long time is now available and has been renamed sit out next big blind.

The auto-post blind button has been (crosses fingers) fixed and should no longer uncheck when adding chips to your stack.

The stacked monitor issue has been fixed. So if you stack your monitors, one above the other, you should now be able to drag the table straight up to the second monitor.

The fold to any bet button coming unchecked is fixed.

There was improvement on the pre-action buttons coming unclicked. If you are still running into this issue (or any other on table issue) please please PLEASE pm me information about the problem. Description, hand number, where in the hand it occurred (preflop, flop, etc), and what player number you are.

Yes! Tickets are now available for purchase in the points to tickets section of your client. Please note that these can only be used for BDPO2 tournaments... so don't go do something silly like buy 3 championship main event tickets, because you'll only be able to use 1 and the other 2 would just be a waste of your points.

I noticed someone mention you are having trouble with the previous hand history function, if you run into that, could you pm me some hh number(s) that are working and a couple hh numbers that you aren’t able to get to?

wow just noticed the sit out next blind option. actually pretty damn happy with the updates besides the sound glitch when you win a pot. i think they might have actually done it on purpose but if that was the case they should really use a completely different sound and not a 'double' its your turn to act sound.

Ice, do you know if it would be possible to 'revert' our tickets back into points? i bought a 100k grntd ticket for 14k pts a while back and would like to revert it back to points so i have enough for the BP main event.

on that topic, can you request, or are there any plans to bring back the double points promotion? seems like a decent thing to do considering there's no rb or bonuses anymore.

I would love to see a plo8 or plo "major" on the weekends. even like a $50/5k or something to begin would be great for Sunday afternoon.

Also, if we satellite into a bdpo will there be an indicator if we try to reg for another sat to the same event. It seems almost pointless to play any sats now b/c you have to pay extra special attention after u win one so you don't reg for another sat to same event.

Is anyone else unable to download hand histories after the update? I can request a download, but they are never saved to my computer.

Not at this time. It is something players are going to have to keep an eye on for themselves so that they don't cost themselves value.
