Yeah, we talked about this earlier in the thread. I've passed along a few suggestions, and they are being looked in to.

Bovada client just crashed and been trying to log back in. No such luck. Poker client just will not start. Anyone else having this issue?

CS confirm there are issues going on.

I haven't been able to open Bovada client since the update. Live update window pops up and just sits there. After 2 days, I uninstalled and tried to reinstall. The installer from Bovada website fails to download the new client, downloads 1-10% of it then fails.

Checking with CS now, just wondering if anyone else figured this out.

1. Bring back the sounds to tables you are not actively looking at. If I am surfing the web I don't know when it is my turn to act. The light up of the bar at the bottom is not good enough
2. Have hand histories than can be uploaded into hold em manger and sit and go wizard or other applications that will help poker coaches teach me
3. when I go to view last hand, actually have the player number, board cards and whether it is the flop, turn, river instead of just a jumbled list of utg+1,2,3
4. blind timers for tourney play

PLEASE fix the issue where it unchecks your auto-post blind button when you buy more chips to reload your stack. It does not do this every single time you click buy more chips, but it does it at least a third of the time or more. Most frustrating thing on bovada!!!

1. This was talked about a bit ago. I passed it along and they are looking into adding an option where you can hear all sounds on all tables.

2. The Bodog Network will not address anything having to do with 3rd party software.

It's been passed along. I don't know anything more beyond that.

When a SnG starts there is a little pop-up that says the tourney is starting and you have to click ok. The audible alert does not work if I haven't clicked the ok button. Sometimes if I look away for a minute, I am timed out because there was no alert. The table does pop to the front at least.

Please ask if we can get the alert fixed or better yet, just get rid of the pop-up.

it is so annoying for MTT's. If you have action on one table and this pops up on the other part of your screen you can not act on any table until you click OK

I am the player/network liaison. I pass along info to them and to you. I'm just a forum rep, so I don't have any final say in decisions, but I like to think that they take my suggestions/thoughts (which, for the most part, come from you guys) into consideration.

Anyone else got an issue with poker points? I had about 10k and now have 0. Poker points history tells me nothing for the last 31 days and pretty sure I have played in this time. On bodog.co.uk fwiw.

I am running Bodog on a new laptop if that effects anything for some reason?

I played a session earlier in the day, took notes on a player. I stopped for a couple of hours, then started a session again. When I sat down at the table, a note I took from the previous session was already stored on a player at the new table I just joined.
Needless to say, I was a bit taken back. I mean, I obviously do not know if it was the same player. If it was, this is an obvious problem. Actually, either way this is strange.

When they added preferred seating they introduced all sorts of bugs with the player notes. No news from them about if they are going to fix it. My guess is that their programming staff is stumped trying to figure out how to implement something as difficult as sound effects so you'll never see the bugs fixed.

I have question for you. How many cases of collusion has Bovada found since they went to anonymous table? Particularly in DONs. I mean is it a major problem and does it tend to happen at a particular time of day or game type or dollar level or other criteria?

Where can I get the best Bovada promotions?

Just to confirm what the issue is now that I have had a chance to check it out a bit:

- install Bodog on new laptop, login, account balance is correct but I have zero poker points. Poker points history shows nothing. Close Bodog.

- Open Bodog on old laptop, login, account balance is correct and poker points are at ~12.2k. Poker points history is normal.

Seems like a fairly major issue (whether deliberate or accidental)??

so, if i get this right....

i downloaded the bodog software to see what kind of games and action the site has.


but, it seem that i need first to registered to be able to kinda of try the site and see what action it have cause wihtout being registred, i cant chooose what option i would like to see when the site start and so , i cannnot see anything but cash game on first page with alll the table and option check in ...
i even see useless play money table and no tourney....

all can see is like 20 table cash game....with different limit and games..wihtout being able to see the rest of it.

not very user friendly program and i would like to see what i kind of action i can expect to have when i join the site....traffic, game played, high traffic at wich hour, what tourney,etc....

They hide all full tables so it's not like you could have seen the action anyways.

It is fairly obvious that mostly everyone sits on open tables waiting for some poor player to come along. While if you join their tables with a full stack, most players will just refuse to play, or just quit after a few hands realizing you are competent. This is also evident in that you can play maximum 4 tables, while there are often over 12 open tables per limit at 1/2 and 2/4.

I thought Bodog was a site that caters to casual players as well. Why have your population fleeced by HU specialists that take advantage of these players and provide no benefit to the site. I'm sure if they weren't playing heads up, they would join other games.

Also, since nobody will play me heads up (and I'm not even that good of a HU player), 6 and 9 handed games are slower to fill. Get rid of heads up Bodog! Why only have games when regs will only play fish.

Bodog Ice: please pass on my suggestion to eliminate the heads-up tables.

Sorry it's been a bit longer than I would have liked to get a post up here but that is on me...

Not too many player facing changes/fixes:

The remember account/password boxes were not working properly for some players. This should be fixed. If not, please let me know.
The language selector was added to the title bar.
Release should help players that were having trouble downloading the software. Again, if you are having troubles, please let me know.

I passed along that some people are having false positives from their virus scanners. A fix is currently in the works.

I passed along the issue with pot size not being shown when table is small and language is spanish.

I passed along the request for bigger hu plo8 regular speed sngs. It is being looked at by the tournament team.

The network has decided to keep its current stance regarding investigations into other player accounts. However, please know that the Bodog Network's security does all that they can to keep the integrity and fairness of their games. They’ve also mentioned to me again that their business model of keeping games what they are calling fair, and catering to the recreational player includes top security and protecting these depositing players. They asked me to point out that for them to go so far to upset a large number of vocal players with some of their decisions...and then to allow any sort of bot or collusion..would be contradictory to everything that they have achieved over the past year. Also know that all reports of suspicious activity are taken seriously and investigated thoroughly.

Also, I passed along a bug I run into that if I disconnect from the client at all (internet drops out, close laptop etc).. when I'm reconnected, I am not able to to look at the previous hand or at the cash statement.

They've agreed to look into getting the previous hand page changed so that it shows the board as it runs out instead of jumbled at the end of the hand.

Passed along the suggestion for an on table blind timer for mtts and sngs and it is something they will look at, but they wanted to remind players that for now this information can be found in the tournament lobby.

Passed along the frustration about the post blind box being unchecked when topping up stack, as well as the suggestion to change the focus stealing popup box when a new mtt/sng starts.

Passed along the request to remove hu tables. It was noted, but is not something that they see happening.
