I called and got my cash fixed. Luckily I had the table names and hand numbers of the last hand I played on each of my four tables via Holdem Indicator. Until I produced the hand numbers the recovery was not going smoothly. They were trying to tell me I cashed out on three of my four tables. Support wasnt being shady, it was just hard for her to sort through all of the table activity I had today I think.

If you have HI, have the last hand per table info ready and you`ll save a lot of time guys.

Also guys, look at your 24 hour net activity in your account. Mine was showing what I was missing.

NP, GL sajeffe. I imagine theyd have corrected it eventually but it feels a lot better just to get it done. I hope they straighten you out.

Keep fighting them. Their support has been notoriously horrible on the first call, so keep at it and eventually you'll get someone that will help.

This just happened, anyone experiencing this as well?

I registered for 2 ($11) tourneys on Bovada the 2k and 8k. D
uring one of the breaks to the tourney, I closed the bovada client and opened the client on my laptop. Now the software will not let me log in and the sign in button just flashes like it is trying to login.

I call bovada and they try to get to me to test my internet connection. I tell them it is a waste of time because i wouldn't get past the live update if i didn't have a connection. They tell me to reinstall. I do that.. Same error. I asked to have my entries refunded because I'm getting blinded out. They tell me tough **** because the problem isn't on their end. If I can't login.. Its my problem? How? So I'm out $22 because Bovada is being douchebags and can't run a stable internet poker website.

It's been nearly 2 hours since I've been able to login to my account. The client acts like it is trying to login but it won't complete the login and doesn't display any error messages. The application is not hung. It is responsive. The login process will not complete. I called bovada again and they told me it was my computer and that no one else was having issues. I'm a network engineer in my day job with 10+ years of IT experience yet somehow there is an issue with my computer... right... The error may be specific to my account, but it is definitely not something incorrectly configured on my end. Anyone else having issues logging in?

No problems here, I can login and sit just fine. Tried it on 2 computers just to be sure.

Try clearing out all your IE cache/cookies/etc.

I've created a screen capture video showing the issues I'm experiencing. It's just absurd that thier support could say the error is on my end.

1) Wired internet connection.
2) I get past the live update screen proving internet connection.
3) Cleaned cache and temp
4) Rebooted & Reinstalled bodog client
5) Account won't login to my backup computer
6) I asked rep is my account was "Locked." He said no.
7) Firewall is off

Yet its somehow my fault that I can't login thus they aren't refunding my buyin? I understand that stuff happens but don't blame it on me when it isn't my fault in order to relieve you of your duty of repaying me my buyins.

called it quits last night around 7 pm after everything went sour. I knew I was missing money cause I closed 3 tables and the balance did not refresh up. I woke up assuming it would be back but i'm still missing about 500.

called support and they confirmed I was missing money. they admitted that all accounts playing around that time are likely missing funds thus it will take 24-48 hrs to fix all involved accounts. I asked her if they could call me or email me when I get the money back, and she said no but you can call or email us anytime to check.

I paused on the phone for like 15 seconds because I could not believe she was leaving it at that. Then she was like, "Hello?"... I was like I'm still here...

I told her that this is a serious issue and I want my entire account audited for missing funds not just the last 3 tables I played. She said yes that's why this 'investigation' as she called it will take so long as everyones' accounts must be looked at.

I told her that I feel exploited when money goes missing from my account. Even if pennies are missing that's not cool. I said the money in my account is my money it's not yours. She agreed and was somewhat understanding. I left the conversation at that.

Also, if you go to bovada twitter there is a free 10 dollar bet on mondays game to all affected accounts. I will not take that as I do not consider that appropriate compensation.

Money back in my account.

I still feel anyone who steals money from a poker player's account is a complete jerk.

Even if for only 28 hours. She was almost like what's 500 bucks to your account?> I mean she didn't say that but that was how it came off. It's like you can buy into your regular games anyway so who gives a crap if the 500 takes a while.,,

Well that's not the point. Regardless if you think less of me for being a sharp you are not allowed to take my money.
09-09-2012 , 11:31 PM
Good to hear they are replacing lost funds without too much of a hassle.

To any of the guys who got a big piece of a guarantee with depleted field size, did you get paid?
09-10-2012 , 02:44 AM
jesus i was playing over a friends house so no HI or anything and had no idea money went missing. i actually had the worst session i've had in a really long time last night (even without knowing $ was gone) and even noticed today my balance was bigger but didn't put it together until reading this. def going to call CS tmrw to make sure.

was 4 tabling and i mean i'm used to the swings but with the 'missing $' i think it my worst session ever and i was pretty ****ing pissed off last night. i'm just imagining some rec player having a bad session but thinking he's down like 2x as much and going crazy...
09-10-2012 , 04:19 AM
Holy crap! I just looked at my account and I indeed did get paid out for the a couple of wins for the MTTs.
09-10-2012 , 08:18 AM
This is really bad obv... so money is just missing?? The sad thing is how would you really know your account is 'exact'? Is this problem fixed?
09-10-2012 , 03:08 PM
missing money in account still!
09-11-2012 , 02:08 AM
Ice, do you have a response for missing funds like this?

How would one know if funds are correct?
09-11-2012 , 02:30 AM
can you seriously not buy into the 100k grntd with points anymore? or the other grntd tourneys?
09-11-2012 , 02:53 AM
lol, I had a friend from Malaysia who found himself missing buyins every few weeks! Good on him for being so attentive but this is completely unacceptable. If it is just a glitch, they should probably not continue to operate while it remains unfixed.

I gave up on Bodog/Bovada and moved to other sites about a month ago after having played there exclusively for nearly 3 years. It's a breath of fresh air! Bovada doesn't care about poker. It's obvious from their horrid software to their pathetic rewards and very high rake. I don't know if you guys noticed, but they increased the rake a lot in 6-man regular speed SNGs once they launched their new software. This is while even their typical rake of 5% at a $200 regular speed HUSNG was way above the industry standard even on sites that offer rakeback. Now, a turbo HUSNG has the same rake as a regular speed... which again is unheard of at any other site because turbos have a much smaller potential for an edge. And perhaps worst of all, they'd rather we play some version of video poker. Apparently, I can't even take notes on players from MY own experience. Having anonymous players is one security issue and rather unnecessary change but not even allowing me to use my personal experience with a player is not poker. If you still play on Bovada, you either hate money or haven't tried other sites like the Merge network (I'm on BCP myself but there are dozens to choose from). There's even the Revolution network which has good action. Their software isn't much better and I think Lock's a bit shady but probably no more than Bovada but at least Bovada tries to make money so I feel more confident in their business.
