I just recently joined Bovada.

I am going to be playing stricly sit and gos only.
My question is about how i can increase the amount of tables that i am allowed to play. At the moment there is a max of 4 tables. Ideally i would be able to play 8-12 tables, which i plan to do for 3-6 hours daily. I hope there is a way to do this, especially since it means more rake for bovada

My next question is regarding any kind of rakeback or reward program. How does it work on Bovada, and also i wasnt aware of any deposit bonus? If there is a deposit bonus, am i able to email support and try and get that bonus activated?

Thanks

doubt you could get 8-12 tables going at the same time anyway even playing every stake they offer

1. 4-table max is set in stone for everyone for cash/SNGs. Only with MTTs can you play more.

2. No rakeback. Tiny reward program in the form of points which you can redeem as tourney buyins.

3. I believe they still have 100% deposit bonus up to $1000. Check their website to be sure. I believe the bonus is automatic. You can call customer service to confirm. CS is quite good imo.

Dear Mr ******

We have concluded that two players in the tournament (2195921) that you were involved in have been colluding. As such, their tournament winnings have been removed, and you have been awarded (first) place. We have added ($100) to your account.

We here at Bovada Poker are committed to providing a fun and safe place for players all over the world to enjoy poker. To that end, we are constantly monitoring our tables as well as following up on leads from players such as yourself to ensure that collusion is found and dealt with appropriately.

If you would like to discuss this matter in more detail, please feel free to contact Poker Security at 1-866-909-2237.

Regards,

Bovada Financial Services

Thanks Bovada and keep up the good work.
My apologies to Dragline if this is real, but has anyone else received a collusion refund in the anonymous era? I've probably played over 1000 double ups & triple ups and yet to receive one.

I like the popup, but making it an option makes sense.

Seen it before but not sure if it's on allins between 1 and 1.5 BBs or 1 and 2 BBs.

Any word on this? Just happened to me again yesterday I believe. Seems like gameplay bugs should take precedence over other stuff.

Respect to being doubtful. The only reason I created an account and posted was because many have asked that question.

I agree.. I passed along a suggestion (well, djk's suggestion) from a few months ago about making it so that if a player is disconnected, they are simply sat out so that they aren't removed from the table until the normal sit out rule (before being removed from the table) comes into play.

If you are able to, please note any hh numbers that you are involved in at the time, along with your player number at the table.. and if applicable, where in the hand you are when this happens.. and pm them to me.

I run into it pretty often too and let them know about it... I know a fix is a priority, but I don't know anything more than that at this time.

I know its been said before but: Sync breaks! Sync breaks! If they are going to let you play up to 20 mtts they have to sync the breaks it's absurd, the mtt nightly schedule is real solid otherwise

I can't log on right now. Anyone else? On a mac if that matters.

Is Bovada down? I can't log-on to my account on the website and whenever I try to log on for poker it says "Login failed. We're not able to process your request at this time. Please try again."

Same issue for me. So its probably a Bovada thing and nothing with your comp/internet.
09-08-2012 , 07:27 PM
Same here. Not able to log on.
09-08-2012 , 07:28 PM
Yep, down. Tried calling support and normally never a hold time but was on hold for 10mins+ before checking 2+2 and just hanging up.
09-08-2012 , 07:29 PM
Was playing on one table fine then went to join another and couldn't buy in - closed app relaunched and couldn't log in. Yeah that's weird I don't think I've ever had to hold.
09-08-2012 , 07:30 PM
blah. someone post when its up again
09-08-2012 , 07:30 PM
They usually announce like maintenance and stuff right?
09-08-2012 , 07:37 PM
After taking a short snack break I found I couldn't join any tables. I closed and re-opened the client and get "Login failed. We're not able to process your request at this time. Please try again". Restarted my computer and same thing. Tried loggin into the website (bovada.lv) and after I put in my account# and PW I get a page load error ("file cannot be found at blah blah blah"). Figured I'd call Poker support (1-866-909-2237) and get "you're call cannot be completed as dailed". On hold with the general support # (1-800-263-0000) right now for a while. Very disconcerting.

Edit: their phone lines must have been overloaded because I just tried the poker line again and it went through.

Just got through to customer service. They said its a technical issue affecting everyone.

^ Thanks for passing that on

Was in a tournament, tried to register for another, got an error message. Decided to try to quickly reboot the client to see if that fixed things; needless to say, I can't log back in. Does anyone have any idea how Bovada would handle something like this? It seemed like the tournament was progressing just fine despite the log in problems.

This started happening to me when I started using Windows Media Player during my sessions. It never happened when I played music through the Pandora website. It stopped happening when I stopped using it and went back to Pandora. I'm using an Asus laptop on Windows 7.
