Going for the record of replying to old posts it seems.

Playing around with this a bit today. As reported earlier, if I try to drag a window from the bottom monitor to the top it doesn't work. But, if I right click on the window from the task bar and choose move, I can use the arrow keys to move the window, and then as soon as any part of it is on the top monitor, I can use the mouse to move it just fine. Pretty sure a competent programmer would have a hard time reproducing this, lol.

I had 190BBs on a 100BB max table, and the most I could buyin for was 100BB. I tried it again on purpose and it let me buyin for 30BB.

Seems like a pretty easily exploitable bug by ratholers because it completely bypasses the 5 minute rule.
I know I mentioned it before, but this is really frustrating. Two nights ago I had ~200bbs on 2 tables, ~300bbs on 1 table and ~100bbs on another (brag obv). Client crashes and has to shut down. Reopen straight away (less than 1 minute) and only one table opens back up. And I had been picked up from that table anyway and couldnt sit back down for 5 minutes, as well as the rest of the tables which were now in the lobby with a free seat, and then only for 100bbs max.

As I have said, I dont mind if Bodog wants their 5 minute rule to stop hit and runs or whatever it is supposed to stop, but if you get disconnected/the client crashes/whatever, you should be able to come back to the same table/s first of all, and with the same stack. Having said all this, it probably has to do with anonymous players and can't be fixed, but thought I would vent anyway.

A seemingly simple solution would be that when players are disconnected and sat out (or the client crashes, or they accidently close Bodog) they are simply sat out for the normal amount of time. I assume this is something like 5 minutes. If this time passes and they haven't sat back in, they are booted from the table. If they make it back in 5 minutes, they resume their seat and stack and play on.

Ice-I play 105 turbo husngs and 210 husngs exclusively. Over the past month or so, a number of players have started to join HUSNGs and proceed to take 20-25 seconds on every action. Basically, they are stalling. This leads to there being very few hands played (if a hand is played to the river, a hand can take 3.5 minutes, and the levels are only 5 minutes long in turbos). This has lead to husngs becoming almost unplayable. Additionally, when I am playing a normal match with someone who isn't stalling, they will VERY rarely take more than 10 seconds to act...I'd say less than 1% of the time.

Could Bovada change the default time to act in Husng's to 10 or 15 seconds (at least for Turbos??)? I understand that on a rare occasion, more time may be needed, and the time-bank could be extended to help this. However, I have played ~ 2,000 husng's over the past year, and not once have I seen a player run out of his/her time-bank. A 30-second default time to act seems extremely excessive for this format, and is only used as a stall tactic by angle-shooting players. Thanks.

Some exciting news to announce: The Bodog Network now has a client for Mac's. It was made available today for those of you that play at Bodog88.com and Bodog.co.uk, and it should be available tomorrow for players at Bovada. Players at Bodog.ca should have this option next week.

For those of you that do try this, please give me feedback with likes/dislikes/bugs etc.

step 1) withdraw monies from your Bovada account
step 2) give monies to other player
step 3) other player deposits monies on their Bovada account

Ice,

That's great news about the Mac client. Been waiting for a long time. Excited to try it out.

Still a problem. But I spoke to support and they said it was a known issue being worked on.

Is there any way to play more than 4 cash game tables on bovada? I am losing my mind. How do they expect to keep regulars with that limit?

I have a question about depositing on Bovada.

My CC's are all being rejected when attempting a deposit. It seems the only way I have of depositing is by Western Union, which is fine by me. I would just like to ensure that if I deposit via Western Union, I will still be able to receive payouts via check. Can Bodog_Ice confirm?

I can retrieve the hand histories, what do you guys use to convert them? Thanks in advance.

I have no contact with the payout department. Your best bet is to call support.

Just downloaded the software and I'm having trouble registering for tourneys, I double click the tourney and nothing happens. So I log out and try again and it brings up the tourney lobby, I try to reg and get a -71 error

Are y'all having issues with the new Mac software in this regard?

I still have the pc version loaded via VMware on the same Mac and when I try to login to one of the tourneys I get the same -71 error ---> I've noticed this only happens on the free roll, no entry fee tourneys
07-28-2012 , 03:13 PM
As a player.. afaik, the -71 error means it's a freeroll where you don't have a ticket to the event (like a 5k fat tuesday freeroll).

Mine are under C:\Bovada\Hand History\

Then there will be a folder labeled as your account number, they'll be there.
