the shortstack problem is pretty laughable. what about a 50bb min buy in? or having some tables with 50bb min and others with 30bb? least this way people can choose what games they want to play.

The short stack maggots drive the action. Worst possible table is 6 100BB stacks at the same table. Avg pot dives down instantly then. I say leave it the way it is.

having two pro shortstackers at 1 6max table makes that table impossible to beat. trust me the games would be better if it were 50bb min.

Bodog has tons of randoms donking around with short stacks, please don't change it. Also, impossible to beat a 6max with two "pro" short stackers impossible to beat? You may want to work on your game a little if you think that is the case.

Just leave it as it is. 30bb buyin is a lot better then 20bb, if you're having trouble with 30bb stacks, you've got to improve your game.

Guide to being a pro shortstacker on Bodog:

1) buyin for 30bb
2) post out of turn
3) call any raise first hand, fold on the flop
4) blind down to 15bb by repeatedly open limping, calling raises, and folding the flop
5) open shove A6o, get called by 99, flop A, double back up to 30bb
6) start the **** talking
7) open limp J3 cause it's suited, stack off on a AKT flop, nail the Q turn, lose to TT on the A river. Complain the site is rigged and that "this **** only happens on Bodog", and leave the table in disgust.

Yeah, I can see why it's hard to beat these guys.

Guys I have a problem. I would like to report a bot the problem is that the only thing I have are betting patterns... How the hell I can do this without any additional knowledge??

Just because the tables are anonymous to you doesn't mean they are anonymous to Bodog. Mark down the player #, the table name, the time/date, and all of the information you can gather as to why you think the player is a bot. Go back to your hand histories and use hands to prove it if you have to. Take a video of the screen using something like Camtasia if you have to.

Problem is that with Bodog's stance on security all you'll ever get is a form letter reply, and you will never find out if they even looked into it, much less if they did anything about it.

The downtime from the other night was just some maintenance, no player facing changes.

As far as the posts about money not being returned to the cashier after leaving cash game tables, and the customer service that was received after the incident, both are certainly unacceptable and my contacts with the network know that and will follow up with the operator. If this is an issue that occurs again, please let me know as soon as possible.

For the preselects and auto post blind issues, these are things that will be corrected in an update that is expected near future.

About raising the blinds, it was asked before and the Bodog Network is happy with the current 30 big blind minimum buyin and has no interest at this time in raising that minimum.

To make sure that I’m up to date on the biggest issues you guys are running in to:

- Auto post blind randomly unchecking
- Preselected actions not remaining on if action if in front of you
- The top up being buggy
- Preferred seating
- When sorting (cash games) by average pot, with multiple buyins level picked, it doesn’t sort correctly
- Tournament lobby is slow to update

I also recall reading that the default buyin under preferences isn't working. I found that if you set the nl/pl to 101 big blinds, then it should use 100 big blinds as default. I passed this info along to the network.

Is anyone still experiencing any lag? Any issues that I’m forgetting?

I'm not 100%, but I think I'm noticing that the auto-post blind issue is happening when I lose an all-in pot, even if I process the rebuy before I called all-in. If so, this is another reason to have auto-top up. It seems like a good way to keep more money on the tables, too, so win-win for Bodog and players.

I agree it was a silly statement he made about not being about to win against shortstackers. But I dont understand your statement. Are you implying if the min buyin was higher then randoms wouldnt be donking around? They arent going anywhere, except now the horrible decisions they make will cost them more chips. 100BB min would be ideal, 50 would be nice, but it doesnt matter because Bodog will never do this because the reality is they pbviously want to take their money instead of you taking it so its a moot point.

Today's update was just a small one with some small updates to the backend.. nothing player facing.

Just tried depositing using a visa cc. How long does it take for money to show up in the account, because there wasnt like a confirmation screen or anything, it just took me to the bovada homepage with no money in account

Norton removed the file from my computer.

lobby.exe - A program was behaving suspiciously on your computer. This program was blocked and removed.

i went to options and restored the file and bovada client opened up the next try. I hope its safe.
