Aplogies for the ignorant question.

Im a ROW player considering playing on Bodog, can someone confirm whether the recent payout concerns or liquidity issues at bovada will be similar to Bodog.eu? Im not fussed at waiting a week or 2 for a MB withdrawl, more so with Bodog closing down.

So bovada is the US facing site and Bodog.eu for ROW?

Thanks in advance

Liquidity is the same for all (at least it was a couple months ago). Right now there are "technical difficulites" with MB payouts so no clue what's going on there. ROW is Bodog.ca, Bodog.uk, and Bodog88 I think.

Apparently, Bodog88 has purchased the Bodog Poker Network now but I have not clue what that means for anything.

I just played on the site for the first time since the anonymous table upgrade. Oh my, what a clusterf. I don't see how anyone can play there now.

They don't. Seriously I took my money out after they rolled that clusterFk. I played a few & said forget it. How do I even know I'm playing a human & not a a computer game? What a mess Calvin, Odman & co. did with this sight. Do they even have traffic?

Probably been mentioned a million times in this thread but just came to say that the disconnection / getting kicked off table glitch is pretty awful since you have to close and re-open the table, and this is further compounded by the 5 minute rule.

Was just playing shorthanded and it happened again. Came back and couldn't get my seat and game eventually broke before 5 minutes. WP

The answer to this question may have already been discussed at a different time but I missed it if so.

How does one go about obtaining a qualifying ticket for the weekly "VIP experience 10k freeroll"

Ok guys... I'm back

First.. apologies for Sunday's network wide issues. There were some system errors that occurred, but those issues should now be taken care of. As before, if you are having any issues with lag or anything else, please send me a pm with as much info as possible (player number, table name, hh number, what happened, where in the hand it happened etc).

Second.. a new tournament series to promote: The Mini Series of Poker! It runs from June 24th to July 15th and there will be 2 events per day.. one regular speed event and one turbo event. Buyins will range from $5.50 to the $109 20k Main Event. Check your websites poker promotions page for more details about the events and satellites.

It is on hiatus for now.. that is all I know about it.

At this time preferred seating is not available, but it is something that is in the works.

I see they have 6max super turbos at the 30s, but I'll pass along the suggestion for 9 max at higher level(s).

- It only allows you to top up to exactly what amount you are down. As an example, let's say I have $190 and want to addon $10 at a 1/2 table. I'm on the BB on an aggressive table so I go to add the $10 on, but for some reason it folds to me. The software tells me that my addon amount is too much because I'm trying to add $10 onto $193 instead of $190.

- similar to above, there should be an add max amount option so that no matter what I have, it just adds to the max buyin.

- I've had times where I try to addon in between hands and the software isn't fast enough to catch up. What happens here is the button is grayed out for at least one hand. If I don't play the hand then usually it adds it on at the end, but if I play the hand and win chips I get the error above. I've had at least 3 times in the last few weeks where it never adds the money and the button stays grayed out. After a few orbits I had to leave the table.

- Issue posted below where it unchecks auto post blinds if you top up. I don't understand how these two are related.

I think that's all of them.
Thanks for this. Wrt to the first two.. iirc, on the previous software, when you reloaded it would ask either what you wanted to reload to (in $ amounts) or reload to the max for the table... I recommended that they think about going back to that option as it would eliminate the first two issues.

Bodog_Ice,

Could you pass on a message to Management to consider making some sort of statement regarding payout issues/timeframes? With no explanation for the current delays I'm worried their already small player base will dwindle pretty quickly.

Thanks for the thread, Bodog_Ice.

A few suggestions:
1) Fix the 5-minute rule to allow a player who has left the table to resume their original seat and exact same chip stack during the period. If the intention of the rule is to prevent seat-hopping and "going south", then prevent only those things. Temporary internet issues happen to everyone from time to time. Allow for this.

2) Add more filters on the lobby menu for Cash Games. "Hide Empty Tables" and "Hide Heads-up" are nice; how about "Hide 6-max" and "Hide Full Ring". Also, the stake filters are too broad. Consider having 2 fields for min and max big blind and let each user have more control. I'm playing the stakes I'm at, I don't need to see a lobby full of tables I'm not interested in (or rolled for).

3) Add more filters for the SNG's and MTT's. Same concept. Filter for # of entries, buy-in, structure... fix the clutter in those menus by allowing each user to filter for exactly what they're looking for.

Thanks again for your time.

Tagging onto this one...I know Bodog said that this was the way they implemented it and that there weren't going to be any changes. But the problem is that there's no logic behind it. A player disconnects because of Bodog's system wide lag and then they can't get their seat back because of Bodog's lack of logic in their programming. Note that I'm not insulting their thinking, I'm talking purely about programming.

There's a lot of features that were implemented like this. It's like programming 101 where they haven't learned error correction yet.

I'll ask about it.. but since I have nothing to do with payouts, and neither do the people I talk to.. I wouldn't expect much luck through me.

djk suggested this early in this thread, so it has been passed along. As far as leaving voluntarily and coming back, they said that wouldn't be possible... but they said they'll look into it for people that were disconnected (which is what morphy is talking about).

Will pass along the filter suggestions as well.

I am brand new to Bovada. I cannot type in my bet amounts. Slider works and the +/- work but I am not able to figure out how to type in amounts.

Can someone help me figure this out? Thanks much.

click your mouse pointer in the box making it blue then hit the back space key seleting the amount showed and then type in your own amount and depending if you have disable Enter to Bet in Game preferences you can click the button or hit enter.
