There's a reason you were on the ignore list. The only thing that's clear is that you have no clue what you're talking about.

~ midnight central time cannot sit down on cash game tables. I click the open seat and it lags until finally giving me an error message saying it is no longer reserved for me. I click close and it lags a bit, then gives me the buy in box. I hit cancel it is normal, but if I try and sit down it just repeats the process :/

i had the same problem but eventually was able to get 3 tables going of 1/2 and 2/4. the lag was really really bad and it took minutes to be able to rebuy after falling below 100 bbs. i felt like the lag was so bad that it was effecting the game play. i would win a pot vs a guy and then get QQ next hand and before the other guy could raise his button playing 3 handed he would time down to 2 or 3 seconds before acting which i felt like hurt my image. it gave a bad player a long time to cool down and forget about what just happened. after having a really good session i have never been so tilted. i have decided that no matter how soft the games are i can not put up with this anymore. when the software is working (which is rare) i enjoy the site but i just can not put up with this anymore. later bovada. time to find a new site to play on.

Wait, what? Have you read any of the last 100 posts or so? There are at least 10 posters complaining about this problem, and for some reason you've seen fit to post not once, but twice, that it doesn't lag for you - not sure who that helps.

I think Bovada is for North America only....Bodog for rest of world. Email them or call them, they'll respond
04-18-2012 , 02:35 PM
I think that's true (US just has to use Bovada), however as far as the player pools go I was definitely under the assumption that everyone played together.
04-18-2012 , 02:45 PM
that is correct, they all play together, just use different site

I tried to log on just now and my security program blocked and removed lobby.exe. It said the program was acting suspiciously. Problem with the new patch?

*Yep, tried again and same thing

**Unintalled and reinstalled Bovada, try to run and same problem.

I'm trying to log on too and the live update thing pops up then dissapears and bodog doesn't open. I have virus protection on this computer. I tried it on my laptop that doesn't have protection and it opened fine. I've have a program running called lobby.exe in my processes, but I can't get it to close.

Yeah my norton 360 went off too and quarentined lobby.exe but i sent it back
04-18-2012 , 03:59 PM
so the question is, wtf is in the new update that the virus scan finds as very suspicious activity.

Same problem.

I run Norton Security Suite and Comcast internet.

Changed Norton program rules to ALLOW for all bovada and lobby.exe progs, still won't load.

Uninstalled, reinstalled, still nothing. I hate bodog's programmers.

sent email. gonna go drink.

Can anyone tell me what methods of Deposits/Withdrawals are available for Canadians?

Does Bodog even accept US citizens living in Canada? Would I have to go through Bovada instead? (Is there any difference really?)

lol "bad mouth bovada"... r u serious?

anyhoo, they got back to me with this:

Quote:
In Norton (360) click on 'Settings' and then 'Anti virus'

On the Scans and Risks tab, under Exclusion/Low Risks, click 'Configure' next to Items to Exclude from Auto-Protect and SONAR Detection.

In the Auto-Protect and SONAR Exclusions window, click 'Add'.

Browse and select the folder (Bovada/Bodog poker) you would like to exclude and click OK.

Check 'Include Sub folders'.

Click OK.

In the Auto-Protect and SONAR Exclusions window, click Apply > OK.

In the Settings window, click Apply > Close.
... which works, it looks like.

gotta luv bomutt...easier after a few beers tho..

Have you suggested Morphy restarts his computer? It could also be his firewall, I have heard that that can be an issue. Let me know what he says.

Does anyone else have EUR account in Bodog?

I have it and everything was OK until day before yesterday then Bodog decided to change USD-EUR currency rate from standard http://www.xe.com/ucc/ rate (about 0,76 last days) to fixed 0,64.

So for every $100 I win it costs me about €12 because of the currency rate differences.
It's like burning my money!
