I wish I could come in with some statement that clears up all of this for you, but I can't. Like I tried to make clear in my original post, I am only working with the network management and have absolutely no contact with with any of the management at Bovada (or any of the other sites on the network). Any news I have about Bovada's decisions come from whatever Pokeraddict and others are posting in this, and other, threads. l am sure it is frustrating but all I can recommend is to keep asking support about the situation as this thread is only for policies, promotions, and anything else that deal with the network as a whole.

I know that's not the answer you were hoping from me, but that's what the scope of this thread will continue to be.

Now, as far the suggestions given so far, I am making sure to note them and will pass them along. I'll leave the cash game suggestions open for another day or so and will have the next suggestion post up this weekend.

Don't forget that this weekend is the Contender Main Event for the Black Diamond Poker Open. It has a $55 buyin and $25,000 guarantee on it and will be followed by a second change tournament with a $33 buyin and a $10,000 guarantee. Then Monday will be the start of the Championship series with a $162 buyin $50,000 guarantee.

New problem has occured over the past week.

Before, when entering bets in manually in the bet box on tables, you could just highlight the bet amount with mouse, enter bet in, and your numbers would replace the text in box without having to hit delete. Now when attempting the same thing, it does not overwrite the text, it writes it in the box in addition to the default amount sititing there.

Even when clicking on the box, and manually deleting, the backspace button can't be used anymore to delete it in one swoop, so you have to click backspace for as manay characters as there are in the box. Delete button can be used, but this is less convenient.

Don't know why the change happened in between updates, but it is definitely a hinderance. A potential solution is going back to the old method, where you can highlight betting box, and any digits entered override the whole box. Alternatively a better solution is like other sites where if u click anywhere on the table, it highlights the betting box, and any text you write automatically becomes the bet amount.

Hey guys I spoke with customer service today and what was told to me is the problem for New York is not having your account closed and is not getting payouts. The problem is getting a deposit so if you have money on your account and don't go busto then you are fine. (This is what CS told me). They are also currently looking at ways to rectify this situation.

This has been going on for me ever since the big 4.x update last year. Nothing has changed in the last week regarding this that I've been able to tell.

I won a contender main event seat that I am not unable to use. I called support and they said you just lose it..I saw somewhere in a thread where I thought they were converting them to some other tournaments? Can anybody help?

They are right, unused tournament tickets that aren't for daily tournaments are worthless.

So I call Bodog(vada) to try and get to the bottom of this 4 state ban...so I actually get this guy who's english was overwhelmingly perfect. I ask him what's the deal with the 4 state ban, he say's just like almost every site that is US facing site had done primarily the same thing because of regulations. He also goes on to say that he/Bodog(vada) believe's that bodog(vada) won't be seized. So with that I hope that he's right but only time can tell!!

In other words, he gave you zero information...

I found out one of the reasons I was missing turns. The auto post blinds function turns itself off. I think it happens during the steady stream of constant lag attacks that happen all the time. The post feature unclicks itself and next time I look up Im sitting out for not posting my BB.

This software is horrific. It makes the old Bodog client look like gold, and thats pretty sad.

Allowing oneself to get too caught up in, and have one's actions guided by, minor (relatively speaking) government actions and customer service rep dialogues isn't a great way for an American player to determine how to act. Do your research and plan ahead IMO.

playing 3 handed early AM... system lags, comes back 30 seconds later but im booted from table. I try to sit and it denies me with 5 minute rule. The 2 other players dont wanna play HU and game breaks.

The check/fold button now works in the small and big blind! It worked for me both to check and to fold. It's a miracle! I don't mind complaining when there are issues but they finally fixed this and I must give some credit.

Nevermind, still broken. Please fix this. (I swear it was working earlier in a cash game but it didn't in a MTT)

IMO, the 3 biggest issues:

#1, the table that needs action doesn't auto pop-up to the front. This makes it virtually impossible to stack the windows, or pop open a quick email or website while playing.

#2, The sounds.... others have said it, but if they could just shut off every sound except for: IT'S YOUR TURN TO ACT, I would probably pay double rake.

#3, I would play a lot more satalites if you could un-register for events and have T$, or be able to use tickets in similar events. As soon as the BDPO sats started up, I won tickets for 3 events, 2 of which I can't use. I flat out lose a $109 and $162 ticket because I can't play those events. I chose not to play another satellite once I found that out, and I won't play any for regular tourneys either until that is changed.


Stuff on the outer lists of annoyances:

*Folded cards that are greyed out but still show up, or cards that aren't folded that are greyed out and appear folded... I dunno, eitherway, it's hard to know and throws me off a few times when I'm playing several windows.

*Not saving the buy-in preferences is flat out annoying

*I dunno if it's just me, but if I register for a guaranteed tourney early (like when there's an overlay) and then the late registration goes over the guarantee... the places paid and prize pool don't update. I went round and round with the live chat and he claimed it was my system, but it does it on 3 different computers I have... i think it's a glitch. **If I'm not in the tourney, the prize pool seems to update live, correctly..so whatev.

*Not being able to go on a waiting list for a full cash game table is sometimes annoying. You can't even see the full games that are going to know how many are running. I know this is probably to combat data mining, but even in a B & M you are able to stand and watch a full game before you decide to take a seat in it.

That's about it I guess. I'm glad ICE is here to at least try and make our concerns known.

I'm just gonna say it one more time because it is so sorely needed, but we need the tables to freakin pop up. As another poster said earlier, it's like they are leaving features out on purpose. Maybe to get the non-winning players that they're looking for. But why the hell would these non-winning players not want these basic features? Why Bodog, why?
