Not a scam imo, it's possible your activity on a new account triggered some sort of review and they are simply requesting id verification which is somewhat routine when requesting withdrawals (I know Bodog/Bovada doesn't necessarily require verification but if you are making consistent withdrawals chances are you have gone through this).

Thanks for taking the time to reply. This is my first - and last - withdrawal from Bodog. I'm confident of that.

I am debating sending this message:

I have to say, that I find it very odd that this problem didn't "Come To Your Attention" until I tried to remove my money from Bodog. Isn't it strange that this problem didn't "Come To Your Attention" any sooner? If there was a problem with my account, why did it not "Come To Your Attention" immediately after I created the account? There was a period of about 2-3 weeks between when I created the account, and when I first uploaded money to Bodog. How is it that you accepted my money without any problems "Coming To Your Attention?" How is it that you allowed me to play and pay you rake without any problems "Coming To Your Attention?" But as soon as I go to withdraw my money, a problem is conveniently discovered. That sounds like a bit of a scam, does it not?

I have an idea. Let's rewind time and get this right from the beginning. Rewinding time means that we'll do everything in reverse. The first stop we'll make on our "rewind journey" is me getting back the money I paid to Bodog in rake. After all, if my account should be disabled, it should have been disabled before I ever played and paid Bodog rake. The second stop on our "rewind journey" is that I'll have the $50.00 returned to my bank account. Obviously it would not have been possible to load $50.00 on Bodog if my account was suspended, like it supposedly should have been before I ever uploaded any money. The last stop on our "rewind journey" gives you the opportunity to disable my account 1-2 days after I created it, because that is when you should have figured out that there was a problem, if there even is a problem at all.

NavRark: How did you upload money into your account? If you put $50 on via credit card, wait a short time, then try to withdraw $50, it looks very bad. Credit cards generally charge a 20% fee for cash advances -- what you are doing may look like you are trying to circumvent that system.

I've had very pleasant experiences phoning their Player Advocacy hotline. Try speaking with them.

I created a Bodog account a couple of months ago and requested my first cashout today. I requested a Bank Wire transfer and am interested to see how the process goes. I've seen a lot of negativity in the US cashout thread and am hopeful things will be smoother for Canadians. Does anyone have any recent dealings with Bank Wire cashouts in Canada?

More thorough security checks are run by Bodog, and every other gambling site in the world, when someone attempts to withdraw. This explains why it "didn't come to their attention" sooner.

I understand where you're coming from, but it definitely is standard practice on every site I've played on to security check on first withdrawal if the account hasn't already passed a security check.

Anyone else from Canada having issues lately?

Last year every EFT took 2-3 days to process/get into my account.

My last two EFT's have been >2 weeks and customer service won't help at all.

Possibly something to do with the changes in QC? Perhaps the payment processor is from QC and they can't use it anymore?

They lose track of my payout, claim it was sent, but I never got it. They then asked me to take a screenshot of my bank account from May 1st on, proving that I never got the payout(which I did, didn't doctor, which is too easy to). One week later still nothing has changed, lol

Been nearly a month since my payout was approved, and still haven't received the EFT.

Six weeks~ later after approval still no update, anyone else with advice? How does 1-5 business days turn into 6 weeks?
In 12 years of online poker I've been lucky enough to never have any cashout take this long. The customer service is useless, they won't help at all. Am I ever going to get this cashout?

It is $3000. Every time I email customer service they just say "Your issue has been forwarded to withdrawal team, please wait 24-48 hours."

I have literally had no progress from them in 10 weeks, what can I do?

Still nothing? that is pretty sketchy? is there not bodog reps on 2 plus 2?

I've had two successful payouts since this issue arrised, for 3000$ and 2000$.

Sorry to hear about this ****ty situation you're in, I've sent them my bank info and I.D. and am still waiting as well, I'll let keep you posted and if something that comes up that can help you I'll let you know

I have been waiting since the first week of July on a four figure payout to hit my bank account and wonder why is it taking so long for them to send me it. My account is verified and I have cashed out from the site many times before without having to wait more than 5-10 business days for the money to show up in my account. Customer support thanks me for being patient and assures me the winnings will be there but not when exactly it will be. Now I am stretched out financially because of this and falling behind on my bills.
