A great way to protect one's long run winnings as the losers last longer and the winners likely will keep winning in the long run too as the site has no interest in making them break even players as they won't make any money then, and it's not only the site cheating like that, but also that there will be more winners as there is no rake.

They say it's no promotion but a permanent business model, though it figured to have been a promotion in the beginning, so no guarantee. If it just would have also average players and more players, that would be it (neither is too likely to ever happen). If you get a couple of nl cash games going in there, likely small ones, then some other games too are more likely to get players and there is a chance it will grow.

They are back up now, but nothing on the website why they were down most of yesterday.

Well obv not. You're not getting paid to be a break even player with this model. All the the multi-tabling rakeback grinders are slowly killing the action on other sites so I really hope this takes off.

Er, lol?

If you are a break even player on other sites *after paying rake*, you will win a lot on a site that doesn't take any rake...

Absolutely.
I still don't think most people realize how much is lost to rake. Even the players who get rakeback, unless its 100%.

Ok I finally got it working.

Choose your country code

Then for area code just enter the first 3 digits of your mobile #
Then enter the rest of your # in the next bar.

Can you activate without a mobile? Do they make exceptions?

Not sure, you may want to contact support to ask. I had no problems with phone activation to my US #. Went through on the first try. Since I signed up about 4 weeks ago I have not gotten any telemarketing or sales calls, so it appears they did keep my number to themselves.

What other sites offer no rake?

It's not a question of no rake as they won't get enough action, and anyway it's again some stand-alone Caribbean place that, together with them being small, has the highest risk that they will disappear with player's money. Also, I wasn't too happy that they took about 9% of me to withdraw my deposit amount to my Click2Pay account when about all other options are free; what a surprise (http://www.betcruise.com/paymethods/) it was that expensive as it's really the cheapest anywhere else usually as they don't figure to take even a currency conversion fee (though I usually use it for € sites as that's my only € wallet), and I suppose it's because they take such a huge fee at Click2Pay, though strange that the poker rooms are then even offering it as free, except for this one place.

There's a few sites out there with very low rake, but almost any site like this will have very little traffic, terrible software, cheating issues and who knows what else. WSEX and paynorake.com come to mind.
