ill just state my experience with them, you judge for yourself.
-i took a break from poker for almost 2 month, didnt even log in there, my money´s all still there (~1k$ but still)
- traffic is still low, sometimes there are games up to .5/1€ nl, but not too often and if they´re mostly very shorthanded. i didnt get plo action unless i asked at nl tables.
- rake free play has less obvious advantages too. mainly, its less swingy and u can play better vs shortstacks. if ur not tiltfree this can be a positive experience, it was for me. also, ur hourly will generally be much better than what you would expect at those stakes.
- when i started there i wrote management and tried to get them to post here. they didnt want to, saying they dont wanna interfere with discussions between players. i didnt understand that decision but didnt argue.
- support mostly sends their replies to ur betraiser account. u have to log in on betraiser.com with ur poker login and go to "mail". its possible people who said they got no feedback missed out on this.
- while this is nothing too tangible, i found this article on their site :
http://www.betraiser.com/recommendations/
its nothing they wrote themselves but the fact they chose to post it as their recommendations made me think there gotta be someone with a brain there.
- its easier than u can prolly imagine to build a roll there. win 10€ freeroll, then go to 1€ sngs (nl sngs r less swingy than lhe). for every €, u get 1 freeroll token. (50€, 4 paid, about 50 ppl on average. 25 when its late night in eu). add some +10€ stts (buy in from 1€-10€, winner takes all) that run once an hour until ur ready for cashgame.
-they now host freerolls for poker forums:
http://www.betraiser.com/soffers/
maybe this would be worth trying for 2+2.
also imo its possible that from a legal point of view betraiser would have to be judged different than other pokersites, basically because they make money by players cashing out, while other sites make it by them cashing in.
