Yesterday, i sent $350 to an agent that was assigned to me by the depositing system on Betonline.Ag. After sending the money (which had to be done with cash for some reason), I verified that the funds were picked up by the individual who was named in the emailed instructions sent to me by Bet Online. I provided the Moneygram reference number to Betonline and initially the system said that the funds should be credited to my account within 60 minutes and if not, I should contact customer service.

Later, once the funds were picked up, Betonline's system started rejecting the reference number provided by Moneygram.

Fast forward past 2 hours of calls and chats with Betonline and voila, it appears that the individual that I sent it to has stolen my money because although the individual whom I sent it to picked up the money, Betonline now claims that they do not know where the money is or what happened to the money.

The very last call I made to customer service just a few minutes ago the individual on the other line said, "yeah, go ahead and file a criminal complaint and see how that works out for you...". So, I consider this a theft of money case since they are not refunding my money or crediting my money to my account. I can only imagine what happens when you go to withdraw the money.

If anyone has had a similar problem with Betonline, can you please recommend what if anything I should do at this point? Should I file a formal criminal complaint or how should I proceed?

Thank you

Criminal charges?? Save your energy, there is roughly a 0% chance any agency would have am interest in this.

Contact BetOnline Mike, he made this post...

You will need PM enabled and it should happen fairly quickly. In the meantime, respond to his post there with as much info as you're comfortable putting out in public. I'd not give too many personal details because anyone can see it and you don't need to compound your problems by adding identity theft.

Well, mysteriously enough Betonline suddenly credited my account. I can only assume it was because of this post on this forum. Anyway, can someone please either delete or close this thread? Thank you

Why delete?? Shouldn't people know about this company and how it handle customer support?

I agree! I have read nothing but shady stuff about this site! The pros are more then the cons!

Same thing happened to me with a credit card deposit.

It was resolved after a week of me harassing them and posting on here.

I would avoid the site entirely. The fact they are unregulated means we have zero recourse. It rather play on the rigged wsop.com site where atleast if I win I know my money is safe and will get to me.

Then you haven't read much. There's plenty of good things such as fantastic software that is more stable than any of the other sites that cater to US based players. They currently offer the fastest withdrawals for BTC of any of the big sites that cater to US based players. There's several other things they offer that are pretty good as well.

Don't get me wrong, there's certainly things they could/need to improve, but if you've only heard about shady stuff then you're listening to the wrong people.

*I think you mean the cons outweigh the pros. For me, they don't.

Stop using credit cards with sites that accept crypto. There's a bunch of benefits such as deposit bonuses and much quicker payouts. If you don't know how to use crypto yet then I highly suggest you take a little time to do so. It's not that hard to learn how to use and I assure you that it'll be worth it.

Hey everyone,

I have had about 2 more subsequent deposits via Moneygram since that last "incident" and everything is fine. There are cut off times for when you make deposits (like after 6p or on the weekends) which may affect the time it posts to your account. Also, one of the customer service reps told me that most of Central America is on LockDown. So, please keep that in mind, too.

My problems were resolved and after that I made two additional deposits and my money went in right away. NO PROBLEMS. and I did not have to call them or follow up. They followed up with me and told me that they received the deposits. So, consider my experience above a fluke for now. They did resolve it. My money was NEVER "stolen" by Betonline. It was simply missing in action for a few hours. Oh and get this: They have reimbursed me for the MG fees! That's pretty cool.

I hope the rest of you figure out which deposit method works for you.

I'm new to crypto but going forward I may use crypto since everyone says that's the fastest in/out method.
