Agree. Tell us what you are going to do to resolve the issues that I brought up. Lots of players were affected not just me. The sad thing is you raked 10s of thousands off me and made money off me in casino and sportsbook as well. I can only imagine how bad a 2+2 grinder would get treated.

I'll be holding my breath for betcoin to do the right thing for the first time in about 12 months.

==================
Here are some facts on the xiaoxiao rakeback issue:

For several years, xiaoxiao was able to offer a very good rakeback deal - with a decent VIP level, players were earning a little more than 100% rakeback with ~70% of it coming from xiaoxiao. Most regs who hadn't signed up under xiaoxiao created new accounts because normal affiliates were being paid less than half of what xiaoxiao was actually returning to players. Here is one of xiaoxiaos original thread on Bitcointalk.

He also ran betcoinrakeback.com (now defunct)

Last spring ( april/may 2017) xiao degened everyones rakeback. After months of excuses and empty promises he admitted he was broke and came clean in this post.

Betcoin responded on their own forum in this thread. (cliffs below)

Betcoin posted saying that they had frozen xiaoxiaos account, and would be using the funds from his account to pay his players:

===========================

===========================

A couple months late, they decided that the funds that xiaoxiao would of normally been paid would not go to xiaoxiao, or the players that signed up under xiaoxiao. They would simply be kept by Betcoin:

They have since refused to respond to requests for explanation, blaming xiaoxiao for stealing all that money. (which he did steal, until they locked his account and began to keep it all for themselves)

Also, they still offer affiliate program: https://www.betcoin.ag/affiliates
==========================

There were 3 ways Betcoin could of handled this situation.

1) Do nothing. The relationship between an affiliate and a player is just that. Let the players and the affiliate work things out.

2) Do something. Lock the affiliates account and pay the players what the affiliate had previously promised - including the cut that the affiliate was keeping for themself until all players were made whole.

3) Lock the affiliate account, and keep all of the funds that would of otherwise been paid to the affiliate (and then the players) for themselves.

Betcoin chose option 3.
Seriously what is wrong with you? First of all it is untrue, they more did option 2 and gave players something. But seriously, how does it feel to just never let something go? Like hold it deep inside and just not be able to get it out of your head? Is something seriously wrong with you dude?

I played on betco.in when it was the only bitcoin poker site...it got "hacked" and I had 100btc on there....the owner said he'd pay me something...but never did...he is still active on the bitcointalk forum...name is "hippich" do you see me literally blowing up his spot all over? and posting everywhere about what a scammer he is? no, because i know im not going to see that money again...does this mean the hippich guy is a scammer? because he couldnt cover the money i voluntarily sent him to risk on gambling, knowing something might go wrong?

any money you ever sent in a deposit to betcoin, you knew something could go wrong...well something went wrong and you feel you or your friends didnt get full value on your money...sorry to hear that but at the end of the day let things go dude...its been months now...they site is still operating and theres no more issues like that, your rakeback appears and thats all you get, its right now every time, and theres plenty of traffic...either come back and play or go play elsewhere, but youre going to give yourself an ulcer man if you dont stop obsessing about this

I apologize if they did end up paying players something. Do you think it would be fair to say they did something between #2 and #3?

It sucks to see anyone taking advantage of the bitcoin and/or poker community. There are a lot of good people here. I've also put a lot of effort into holding Betcoin accountable for their actions. Perhaps I should just give up as it is very possibly a lost cause - and maybe I will some day - but I'm too stubborn to give up now - I've been trying for quite a while!

The current price of Bitcoin obviously makes things very complicated, but I'm sorry someone hacked you for 100btc. If you could prove your claim, and prove who actually hacked you, I would help you if I could, without expecting anything in return.

Also, the user "hippich" has not been active since October 31, 2014. (although, it seems like it was someone else who got your money)

I'm hoping to inform other poker players of Betcoins antics, hold Betcoin responsible for their actions and convince Betcoin to behave more responsible in the future. That's all.

Software didnt come up again for the next 10-15minutes. I had a proper stack, whether the hand I was in ended good or bad for me.

I will look up WPN guidelines now, but Im pretty sure it's not "dont send an email about it, give no info what happened when software is back up, get no refund".

I apologize, it seems like there has been a miscommunication. I was explaining that you had given no info, not telling you not to give info. Basically what I needed to know was whether the tournament came back and if not, when it was cancelled.
To simplify the wpn policy, if it comes back, the tournament is continued to be played. If ut cancels before end of late reg everyone is refunded. If it cancels after late reg ends, remaining players are paid based on chip count. I was asking for more info. Not unlike text messages, forum posts can often be taken with the wrong tone.
But we follow wpn terms and conditions with wpn tournies. Regardless of skin, this would've had the same result for you.

My experience with Betcoin has been neutral-to-positive but in general I would like to see things dealt with in a fashion that they can be pointed to publicly in the future.

This is 2+2. Industry issues are hashed out in the open here all the time. You need to be prepared to be a part of that if you're going to do Betcoin any good here.

I believe Gamblor777 is xiaoxiao (the affiliate that stole all the rake back).
I also believe that he is still being paid affiliate fees by Betcoin

Here are a list of all the accounts that I believe belong to the same person.

- Gamblor777 (twoplustwo)
- HIV (twoplustwo)
- winbig777 (btctalk)
- xiaoxiao (btctalk)
- VascoBorden (betcoin)
- harryjr (betcoin)
- veganhippie (SwCPoker)
- 5850s (reddit)

The following referral accounts/links are also relevant (don't use any of them):

- win big on coins dotcom <---2p2 has censored this site ( which means he got banned for spamming here it most likely)
- https://www.betcoin.ag?r=109330 <---xiaoxiaos affiliate link that most regs signed up with
- https://nitrogensports.eu/r/22646

Gamblor777 and winbig777copy/pasted identicle posts yesterday bashing me. You can see it a few posts above this one, and also on BTCTalk [LINK] So we know they are the same person. If you look at the post histories of each account, you'll see extremely shilly posts on BTCTalk, and just enough attention to Betcoin.ag on 2p2 to not get noticed by mods.

Here we see winbig777 claiming to be veganhippie. Also note the signature where he advertises his site, winbig on coins: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?to...15#msg25692215

Now for the reddit account. First some evidence that veganhippie is "5850s"

https://www.reddit.com/r/poker/comme...layer/dhb3uzm/

https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/com...bling/chq0v9z/

https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/com...bling/chq0v9z/

Now to show "5850s" is xiaoxiao
https://webcache.googleusercontent.c...&ct=clnk&gl=us

Compare that affiliate link to the one Xiaxiao has been using since 2014: https://bitcointalk.to/index.php?topic=683727.0

Other relevant links that connect him other names:

In this video we see him playing on the veganhippie account: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=szNcaWQ5tQc

This is the same person that scammed this WSOP package a few years go. (I believe he has paid back a chunk, but still owes over 20k )
Also, he got arrested for picking up a 13yo girl off craigs list. (Not joking)

I agree with you and will do my best to answer questions here. Obviously certain issues require me asking account related questions that should be kept private. With this particular issue, I responded publicly to the larger issues but to go any further, I had to take it to PM. Thanks for your feedback.

Pretty incredible stuff. Xaio literally posting in this thread under a new account to tell us there is nothing they can do about the money they stole from the players when he is the one that stole it.

The site should be burned to the ground.

For the record, I'm not Xaio. I got robbed for 100BTC on betco.in by hippich or whoever hacked him and never got paid a dime from there, and 50BTC on btcontilt.com by kikoman or whoever else ran that site and never got paid a dime from there. If anyone would like to help me recover those funds, I will happily use them to compensate anyone else who has gotten scammed playing bitcoin poker. I hate scamming sites more than anyone.

So you started posting xiaos affiliate link to help him out 7 months after Betcoin claimed to lock his affiliate account...

And you paid everyone back, just forgot to update the numbers and tell everyone...

Total owed online $36,052.158
Cash HIV returned $12,596.83
Sent so far 12720

HIV still owes $23,456.158
Fitzcat is holding -$123.17

Yeah.. So regarding that.. After a WPN update this morning, all wpn tournaments showed up as 0 exchange rate so betcoin players essentially got in them free and many took advantage. They are evaluating 1 by 1 right now. Go on live chat and they will review and get you taken care of. That is fastest way right now.
I also sent a message in staff chat, but they may not see it until after you connect with live chat because they are swamped with these.

why would anyone play on here with the rake being so high?

HU - Uncapped rake.
Ring - capped at 2mb 4mb 8mb depending on stake/# of players...so $34 minimum cap no?

Games surely aren't that soft...just not seeing complete droolers selecting a bitcoin site to play at.

Absolutely right. A year ago our rake was among the best in the business. With the crazy increases in value of bitcoin, we have fallen behind. I expect to have that corrected by end of calendar year.

I know of at least five players who received the email, all of them had the same deposit address. None of them have their email made public and two of them used a unique email address to sign up for Betcoin. ( maskme/blur https://www.abine.com/maskme/emails/ )

It's been a while since something like this happened, but it's certainly not the first time: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?to...32#msg14028232

I suppose it could be the same people that got the email addresses back in 2015.

Luckily, it doesn't seem like anyone fell for it: https://blockchain.info/address/18Rg...5BQq3w3a6wmNWP

Did you receive the email? (check spam, around 7am EST this morning, 9 hours ago)

Interesting. Someone sent .0464 to that one. At least it came from an account holding 10.6 so I don't feel too bad for them.
