It probably defaults to the first country in the list when the player doesn't specify.

This site is one of the last great hopes for USA online poker. I can't believe that more people don't understand that you can play on this site and win 200k on a random sunday night in a poker tournament, just like you used to be able to on pokerstars in the sunday million.

People way underestimate the allure of a big prize pool tournament. It used to be the only thing my friends who played semi-seriously on stars would talk about on sundays.

The only problem as I see it is stars used to be really easy to deposit on. That's a problem with bitcoin that's thats why we as people need to network with all our friends to the point where bitcoin is as easy as stars cash was. Like you would trade your poker-playing friends 215 stars cash for 215 cash, so they could play the million that sunday. Whoever was flush online at the time would be the one selling.

Network effect, people. Its one of the most powerful phenomenon in the world.

I just wrote this post in nvg, hopefully it'll help, if anyone wants to add their voice it'd be great

Sunday night? You mean some time on Monday late morning thanks to the super long late reg and reentry of WPN? And it's not the Bitcoin site that provides this opportunity but the network they belong to.

I'm glad the connection is better now and it handled Sunday traffic just fine.

looks like there is an issue with too much rake being taken out of pots.

Yeah I literally won 5 buyins from a guy heads up and they took almost 1 of the buyins worth of rake (got some of it back from rakeback % tho)

It was a short match too, only about an hour.

The bad beat jackpot is ****ED up too, beyond belief. 4 players have to be dealt into the hand, both hole cards must be used by both players....

and quad jacks needs to LOSE for it to hit

talk about something thats literally probably never gonna happen. i see it more likely this room closes their doors with this never hitting. so thats basically just 19btc (so far) sucked out of the poker community, cuz the dumb regs that sit cash games, sit the badbeat tables, and an extra .01 is just raked every pot.

its supposed to be tough to hit the badbeat, but not impossible. i have never heard of such stringent conditions, let alone on a site with such low traffic.

it appears that all of the 6m/fr tables are bbjp tables. what do you mean? where should the dumb regs sit?

Sadly, it isn't. I don't know why. Either the avg poker player doesn't understand bitcoin or there is just a general online poker malyase since the bible thumpers banned it in 2006.

Nitrogensports.eu has a web poker client with some occassional traffic. Other than that, nothing. Seals was the go to place before Micon got busted.

Dunno what the deal is, but it's pretty stangnant. In fact, it had alot more activity a few months ago than now. I suppose some of the fish went busto or something along those lines.

However the tournaments are very active b/c of the WPN sharing. That's a pretty damn nice feature. Too bad I never allocated 7 hours of a weekend to play in one of those.

HU tables are now uncapped rake 2%. That's horrible.

There's a few high stakes whales too. It appears the site is trying to incentivize them away from sitting the heads up tables.

However, from what I've seen, they're still playing the HU tables, and the rake is just murdering it.

2% uncapped. unreal.

Yeah I don't get it. But going back to FR. It's not growing much. I think there are issues with false advertised rake, collusion, DDOS attacks against other players, etc. But to me it's your only online option. I'm not playing on some site where I need to fly to the moon and back to deposit and withdraw funds.

I think this was a mistake and support is on it based on my recent email about this because it doesnt make sense to have this and then 100% tablestarter rakeback for 1 v 1 in regular tables.

The bots are all over b/c they can't get a critical mass.

The MTT structures allowing people in after 4 hours- same reason and I agree, that's terrible.

The conclusion to draw is, for the avg recreational poker player, bitcoin is beyond their intelligence level to grasp in its present form.

I see these different players join and they say the same message in chat - something like "hey everyone, this is [playername]"

Yes, this is a typical bot trait - helps them blend right in.

lol. that is automated by betcoin. even you say it when you join the table, even though it does not appear in your chat box. there is also a message whenever a player returns after sitting out
