If/when IP makes a comeback, am I the only one hoping the sites that spring up/back will do so with a client for iPad and Android tablets?

I wouldnt be suprised if pokerstars does this down the road. They have job postings for mobile support. Could be sooner than later. Fulltilt released rush mobile that worked on Ipad a few weeks before they shut down.

Hey guy title says it all. I just wanted to know if playing on poker sites such as Stars, Merge and Ipoker would be possible on any of the new Android tablets like Motorola Xoom or Samsung Galaxy. Any info would be great on the subject as I'm trying to decide whether to get one or not. Thanks.

I just want to be able to 1-2 table lock poker on a tablet. Recently got a nexus 10 which is super fast, downloaded splashtop 2 but it lags like hell whenever lock is running. Willing to pay for one of the "hd" versions if someone can confirm I'll be able to play. Any advice is appreciated.

You tried Teamviewer yet?

I tried this just for fun on a cheap LG android cell phone using Team Viewer. I had PT4 running on my laptop and I could easily see my hud stats. It wasn't lightning fast or anything but didn't appear to lag and was definitely doable for stacking a few tables.

It sounds like its your Screen Resolution. Stars Mobile needs I think 800x400 Res.

Also try to uninstall app, reset your tablet and re-install.

If not contact Stars or Tablet manufacturer.

Well send a email to the Manufacturer and PokerStars mobile support. List your specs and tell them that everything matches the specs required to run the app.

Also do you have any other apps on your device?

-Reason is that your internal memory could be filled.

-I would just do a full re-install of your tablet (back up any important info 1st) Because you can re-download all your apps later on anyways. (Do this under settings, and you will see a place to reset your tablet to factory setting.

-Then after it is a clean ready to go factory install, check under the settings to update your version of android so that is fully updated.

-Then go to pokerstars.com and download the mobile version again and load it up, press login and hope for the best.

I had to do the above to get mine working (however I have a differnet tablet than yours obvs) GL

Greetings all,

I am a relative newcomer to poker, but have been putting a lot of serious time in to studying and playing. Currently am playing at 4NL at Carbon.

I have a Mac but find that the iPad is so much more convenient and comfortable for long hours of poker.

Here's the issue:
As far as I can tell, Merge is the only US facing site that has a mobile solution (I am in California). Playing on Carbon, the mobile app does not have all the features of the regular software. Generally I don't mind but the real issue is hand histories. There is no way of saving your HHs on the mobile client. I have contacted Merge a number of times asking for copies of my HHs, but they apparently do not give them out.

Anybody other iPad or tablet users out there? Thoughts or ideas?

Thanks

I have a Dell tablet that has win8.1 on it. It's pretty sweet because it has the actual OS on it, so you can download the actual program and run it.

I.E. even though there is no hearthstone app for anything but the ipad, I can play it without issue on my tablet cause I just download it like I did on my computer.
