I would be a new player at WH, thus needing to rake $2000 to get the Ipad. Looking at their VIP scheme and the approximate details on your PLP website, this would get me 60000 points with a multiplier of 550% = 330000 points. This converts to ~$440 which is only 22% rakeback.
Are my calculations/assumptions correct? If so, is this a normal % rakeback on ipoker? I've never played on ipoker and don't fully understand the VIP schemes. For example, what would it take to get 30% rakeback?
Thanks for any help. I'm probably still going to do this anyway as with the new player bonus, RTR monthly race and the Ipad promotion, I imagine it all adds up to about 80+% rakeback anyway
Hey Jay
Firstly we musn't call it rakeback as it isn't!
The rakeback part of it for old accounts is rakeback...but overall it's a "return"
It may sound like semantics....and it is semantics...but it is necessary semantics.
It is always hard to put a return value on the VIP program because it depends on levels and multipliers. I must stress the monthly race is only eligible for players pre April 22nd 2010 due to some messed up rules.
But what is fair to say is that the overall return to new and dormant players is very high.
We and WH want you to play there and try the software. WH are a great brand and a heck of a lot more safe and trusted than many other brands out there in Poker World. They offer great value from month to month so you won't be disappointed
Best wishes
