Last month when that thread by kahntrutahn claiming that he was not able to get his money out was active, Battlefield Poker told me via PM that he was not involved with Rakeupdate (rakereduction). However, he said the owner of Rakeupdate was a good buddy of his, and apparently got him started in the business.

I have not confirmed that information with anyone else, and know nothing beyond that.

I'm new to this forum, and I am also a victim of the lack of communication from MGS / Tusk. Was ready to launch a new poker site (hopefully by Friday next week, with Tusk /MPP), but obviously that won't happen! Not sure what to do next as a there is a complete chaos due to the lack of info. Trying to squeeze people for info, but it's impossible.
What I would like to know, is there any other MGS licenced operator ala MPP /Tusk who offer poker skins?
Been a few rough days, that's for sure. Players worry about their funds, and we worry too. We have invested a lot of money and time into this setup, and we sit back with nothing. Struggling to deal with all this.

What's best to do at Battlefield at this time:
1/ Leave my bankroll there and wait. (Or cancel my withdrawal)
2/ Withdraw it now, and hope I will receive it at my VISA account.

Please help me, I don't want to lose the bankroll I've been building for years!

It is Microgamings responsibility to do all they can to get the owners operating again and the players compensated(including me).

As with pokes poker/future bet. But nothing happened from OnGame. They did not pay us or compensate us in any way (they owe us millions), but still OnGame is the fifth largest poker network according to pokerscout.com.
And still... despite of the FutureBet scam, I can bet my life that alot of 2+2ers are still playing at OnGame anyway.

2+2 doesnt equal 4 in this case. Tusk loses their seal, then MGS releases a statement saying their company is in liquidation.. Then MGS disconnects 28 poker rooms and all of the VERY old Tusk Casinos.

THEN Tusk releases a statement blaming all this on 2 poker rooms that gave rakeback?

Something isn't right here.

I can't really answer your question but I think I'm gonna cancel my withdraw and play further. If I lose the money there, I had at least some more fun with it..

If payouts are getting trough then I'll decide to withdraw or play further with it.
Depending on what the situation of battlefield is at that very moment..

It's just my own opinion..

Hi everyone,

we have now heard from both Tusk and Microgaming though not much news yet. As expected communication to the public(despite many being invloved parties) will come slow as no one wants to hurry with any statements.

Microgaming has not shared anything else than pointing to the information already released in their press release as the reason of termination.

Tusk advised that they cannot answer specific questions at the moment but expect to have more details in the near future.

None of them has offered an official statement regards the player purse.

Sincerely,

RoyalCardClub

Well this has more or less done it for me with passing significant $ thru dodgily regulated companies.

I'll keep some $$ at Stars and Party for old times sake, but I'm going to take the rest of my online roll out asap and use a debit card (from my UK bank) to put some £ into William Hill (it was them or Ladbrokes but Ladbrokes charge 6% rake in cash games and have worse bonuses/RB). It will save teh NT conversion and cashout fees too and it's something I should have done a while back. No more chasing slightly better RB terms from small offshore skins...lesson learned and I hope it doesn't cost me $2k. As for the poor guy who has $380k on Battlefield - Jeez - I'd be suicidal..

Hi all!Somewhat good news here.I have been withdrawing from Battlefield via check and had one that I got on February 5th and didn't deposit into my account.I deposited it yesterday AND THE FUNDS CLEARED.So it looks like they must have some of the player funds backed.I've got another 12k worth of checks in transfer and 15k still in my account.God I really hope all this works out.Would suck to lose over 50% of my roll.

Can Battelfield Support maybe finally answer the question if it's better to withdraw now or to keep the money on Battlefield?

Still have 2k on it, too

But not getting your money is the worst nightmare to a poker player and i think the network will fall if that happens.
I think you're wrong, unfortunately, simply because hardly anyone will notice. The players playing on MG at the moment don't know of these problems, only poker forum readers do and they make up a very small % of online poker players. Also it could be argued that MG aren't at fault here.

No, but thanks....

I just cant believe a big operator like MGS can't come with a statement sooner, all the players and operators that are put out of business have a right to know whats going on since they all have been good customers (at least I know I have been) I didnt even receive a e-mail with that press-realease, had to read that here yesterday...

What were you able to confirm?

I've heard RakeReduction owns Battlefield and RaketheRake and RakeRebate own RedNines.
