Kultan, think you should follow these steps that theMightyZep suggested on page 136 first of all:
Quote:
*** Claim Process ***
These are the steps that should be taken for anyone that is experiencing problems or for people that are confused as to how the process works. I, like a few others in this thread, am an attorney that deals with this issues so this shouldn't guide you astray:

1. Gather all information possible. You will need to submit as much information as possible to validate your claim and ensure that your proof of debt statement is recognized. At a minimum, the information collected and written down should include your full legal name, address, phone number, country of residence, name of poker site used, screen name, email address used to create the account, and the monetary amount being claimed.

As a practical matter, I would strongly suggest you include your IP address from the location in which you normally play. This will be helpful when matched to the transactional log to verify your identity. I would also include any other information (no matter how minor you think it may be) as possible. This would include screen shots of account balances, poker tracker screen shots verifying the site and amount won, and also a redacted bank statement (if obtainable) showing the initial deposit made into the account.
...and mail it to the liquidator. Fill in the form the way you want, better to do it wrong than not doing it I think. I did it in anger and had no idea what i did. They'll probably get in touch if they want further information i suppose. Just send it! Even an idiot have the same right as anyone else to get his money back I think. They'll probably think I'm one when they se my form, but I don't care. I just want my f-king money!

You're owed the full $14k as no withdrawals were processed and therefore it is still effectively in your balance, though it might not reflect it as such in the cashier.

I had a sum that I tired to withdraw during this mess that does not anymore show in the account. I have read that some people had the same problem, I just noticed that if you go to my account to transaction history, you can see the transaction as work in progress, that may help some as proof in case it will be necessary. I took a screen shot.

I have the same "work in progress" but its on the date of yesterday and not the same transaction # as the one i made in february. By the way the withdrawal i made in february is not listed in the past transaction. What about you and others ?

Does this means they are really processing the transfers.. ? I wrote an email to Simpartners yesterday.

I am not sure about my transaction number but what's weired is that I was not able to see any pending transactions a few weeks ago when I checked for the last time. But now all of a sudden the pending withdrawal is being displayed.

Maybe the liquidators have "turned the system back on" so they can look at balances etc now people have started making claims, to see what the true state of player accounts is.

It wouldn't suprise me if the amount of player accounts on the balance sheet didn't match the accounts in reality.

For those filling out the Form 535 formal Proof of Debt:

1) what date are you putting at the top?
2) what date are you putting in the part 1 box area?
3) we leave 2,3,4 blank, right?
4) do we leave signature/occupation/address/date at the bottom blank or fill those out? i'm not clear because it says not to complete the starred 3's if made by the creditor personally, but there's nothing to really fill out for those (unless the person filling it out would just initial it or something), so i thought the signature stuff at bottom might have pertained to #3?

I put February 28th as the 1st date, same for the box. I left 2,3,4 blank and put the signature, current date, and student/poker player for occupation. I threw in my screen name and account number in the last column in the 1st box.

I did it pretty much the same way as bigt2K4. In the remarks box I wrote "computer screen shot attached electronically" and e-mailed a pdf of my screen shot which shows my alias, balance, and the message box pop-up about the site having been shut down along with my scanned form that I e-mailed to the tusk@sims... address. I haven't sent by physical registered mail yet. Figured I'd wait a week or so to see if we hear anything further as far as details on how to properly file.

I think u need to print it/fill out/scan it/email it. Also sending another completed form via certified mail like Zep said would be good.

I'd assume the liquidator will contact you eventually regarding what they need from you. It's not like a deadline for filing is coming soon: the liquidator was only approved about two weeks ago.

http://www.andymcnish.net/BTP/TuskPOD.doc

There's the version of the form I modified into word and am sending in.

Obviously this is for informational purposes only and for use ENTIRELY AT YOUR OWN RISK !!!

Personally I have seen the sort of massive fees that liquidators manage to extract from liquidations here in the UK and would be happy to get 50c in the $ out.

I was starting to write the whole thing off mentally and had taken the money off my bankroll speadsheet so anything back would be decent at this stage.

Quite clearly it would seem that anyone who continues to play at a Microgaming licensed site and keep any significant funds there after this debacle is a moron (Ladbrokes excepted but of course they rake 5.99% in cash games, so you'd be a moron for other reasons to play cash there).

I can't see any way back for Microgaming's reputation after this. This is far worse for SSNL players than for example a site having a Superuser account.
Superusers I can risk as a $200 NL player. They are very unlikely to be playing with me.
Having all my money disappear I can't risk. I am playing at Stars, Party and Will Hill only now.

I think it's meaningful not to let this thread slip from page one. I wish I had something relevant to add though.
