A couple weeks before this whole thing started, I requested a withdrawal for $9,000 from RedNines. Around 3/2 I got my first check for $3,000 (they never seem to send just 1 for the whole amount). After this happened, I mailed it in, and it is posted at my bank on 3/7. I guess that means it's cleared.

Today I got 3 more checks, dated 2/14 each for $1,500. So, if those clear that'll be most of my withdrawal. There was no date on the postmark on any envelope for some reason so I can't tell if it was lost in the mail or they printed the check 35 days ago and just mailed it yesterday (more likely).

So, I guess someone affiliated with some of the money may have recently mailed some old checks. Not very useful news .

cheers,
-highland

Silly hypothetical here, but bear with me:

Imagine that on February 26th, the day before this whole fiasco, every single player on a Tusk skin had gone online and lost every penny in their account to other players on solvent skins like Unibet or Eurolinx. Assume that these were all legitimate losses and not chip dumping. What then? If Tusk was insolvent, where would the money come from? When the winning players went to cash out, would they face problems? How exactly does the money transfer work between skins--if a Doyle's Room player wins a pot from a Red Nines player, do the two skins have to do some transaction between them to settle up, or does Microgaming do it automatically?

The underlying point, I guess, is that if you run a network with different skins like MG does, it should be imperative to have 100% of funds available at all times. On any given day, any player on any skin may win or lose money, and if even one skin is busto, players on every other skin may suffer. In short, by letting Tusk play its shell game, MG endangered the funds of every player on the network, right? Seems they bear quite a lot of responsibility for this mess then.

This is going to take months to clear up... not days!

Attacking Microgaming or the other sites on the network will not have any positive outcome. This industry is suffering enough already. It's actually a huge benefit to the affected players that Tusk was on Microgaming and not running independently like FT or Stars. At least with Microgaming involved, there's a small chance you'll get paid.

Flame away....
Your homework sucks then because Doyle's screwed alot of affiliates when they sold off their players to Tilt with no compensation to the guys who brought them in.

you guys are on your own.

i read the attacks u made on fox and mellow man. they were trying to be helpful, and they got personally attacked. typical 2+2.

nice letter word, but uh, who did u send it to? did anyone contact the igc like I suggested? their members include microgaming, the ecobra or whatever. igcouncil.org.

if you want to read between the lines, they were trying to be nice by not saying you guys are basically all screwed. but u will find out for sure in one year.

play poker stars next time.

Blame the US Gov't for Doyle's giving my account someone else? Umm, that was Doyle's choice. The are accepting US players again. This has nothing to do with funds, but rather some guy claiming he did his homework when it doesn't look like he did.

Why do you think people play these sites? There are many reasons. Just because Stars says funds are in Trust does that make it true?

Read your own post. You said you did your homework. You brought it into the discussion.

You are using this to give you credibility. I don't want to hijack this thread going off topic, but it seems if you were out there to protect people you wouldn't promote Doyle's. DUCY?

Players weren't affected by Doyle's move away from the US. Yes, it affected you and me as affiliates but WTF does that have to do with players losing their money. So I fail to see what relevance your comment has to this topic. DUCY?

So Doyle's screwed tpk, but don't worry they are honest with the players. Even though they screwed tpk I urge you to continue playing because they are an honest site and will not screw players.

Mind boggling.

u just don't get it do u? it wasn't doyle's room. they got out of the market when the uigea passed; do you blame them for that?

full tilt said they would take the players. then full tilt proceeded to screw up, as they always do.

there is even an entire thread devoted to this.

Since you're determined to make this personal - why not post YOUR site url. Let's see what sites you deem APPROPRIATE to promote.

The reality is, we are providing a service and we got several msgs and emails asking us what Prima room was best to play at now. After some research and emails, we came up with Eurolinx because of the ability for US players to deposit and the EU license.
This was not just a business move, we do care a great deal about our player base at rakeupdate.com and are still daily looking for ways to push this issue forward.

I think the end result with Battlefield Poker will be VERY positive. The problem is, the gears in the legal machine turn slowly.

Regards,

Rake Reduction
This is good news imo

That would be my player account balance on one of these sites with $40k+. This was meant to be personal. You just took it that way when I called you out for getting on your high horse because you never promoted them. I stated facts and you didn't like it. How can I trust Doyle's knowing they screwed you? Plain and simple.
