Ladbrokes and Unibet are both solid even though their pokerroom is at microgaming.
Their both mainly sportsbetting sites so poker is probably a rather small % of their total business.

Your money is very likely safe, BUT the right thing to do is probably to withdraw your money and shoot them an email that you wont give them any more of your business until they move to a trustworthy network. Remember, a part of the rake you generate is going to MGS so by playing at unibet or ladbrokes, you kind of keep these crooks afloat...

Does anyone have more information about the Eurolinx scandal.

I only deposited int he past few months, and now Im cluster****ed.

Deposited around 40k. My friend has around 100k on there.

People here contacted the Managing Director in person for withdrawls right?

Seems like a ****ing ponzi scheme. Jesus.

+1

Also send your affiliates (RTR, BW, etc) emails asking them to remove MG from their websites, especially after now the 2nd time they're allowing sites to steal money from players!

Someone should start a topic (with a vote or w/e) on the Pokertracker and the Holdemmanager forum on removing the Microgaming support completely...

I sent an email (posted at the bottom) to Tusk back in June and just received this email in response :

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Sorry for the delay in replying your enquiry.

At this stage, we are still continuing to realise all assets of the corporation and further investigation into the corporation’s affairs is still under way. Dividends will be paid to unsecured creditors once all assets have been realised.

"Dear X,

Please understand that Ladbrokes have both a legal and moral obligation to ensure that any funds obtained or transferred by deceptive or illegal means (regardless of your intentions) are returned to their rightful source. In this case, all dumped funds have been returned not directly to Eurolinx (who as you rightly point out went into administration on August the 21st), but into an account held by Microgaming Networks’ Independent Clearing House, from where they will be made available to the appointed liquidators who will in due course apportion those funds to any Eurolinx creditors.

We do appreciate that the circumstances surrounding this situation when it first occurred had been somewhat ambiguous as both the Network and indeed Ladbrokes were forced to simply suspend any funds and accounts involved until such time as the liquidators had been duly appointed and had decided on their course of action.

I do hope this answers your concerns and if we can be of any further assistance, please do not hesitate in contacting us again.

Kindest regards,

Ken Mackie

Operations Executive

Ladbrokespoker.com "

This is what happened to someone who tried a creative way to get his money out of Eurolinx before they crashed. The most interesting bit is the reference to the Microgaming Networks’ Independent Clearing House.

Did the same organisation have some of OUR money for days or even weeks after TUSK crashed and then transfer it to the liquidators without our knowledge? Or does it it actually still have OUR money, as bigt2k4 has suggested?

Give up hope... The liquidators have proven on multiple occasions they are useless and really don't even understand the basics of this situation.

Its likely that we will get 10% in the next few years. But nobody should be relying on this money.

I just sent an e-mail to the liquidators for ****s and giggles. Their last communication was in March, and it did say that there was money available for a distribution to creditors (10-20% I think), so I thought I'd ask them wtf is up. I expect no response.
