Banned from Carbon Poker - Page 4 - Internet Poker

I'm almost 2 weeks now. They said they would email an update after 48 hours. I sent them another email asking if there was a problem. That was yesterday. I got a bad feeling about this.

No! You will be ok. Just give it a little time. The verification has been slow for some, but you will get there. As you have been, just email them every once in a while.

My friend just email me a article about the merge network ban on New Jersey and Delaware players from their network.

Is their any true to this, I did a internet search on this and saw that several web sites claiming this.

Has anyone else hear this!!

After receiving my check and depositing successfully, I'm pretty sure, I just received a new email from them stating that another in the same amount is on the way. Gonna email them, but thought others might have gotten similar.

Ive been an original member of carbon from day 1 and never had a problem.

After the update today. My state is now restricted. I simply can't believe this. Are they just late in banning me or did this start today.

There was a short discussion on this in the merge thread in this same sub-forum. It seems that accounts that had been grand-fathered in after their respective states had been restricted from merge, are now being shutdown finally. It sucks but it seems that theres not too much you can do

Your balance will be paid in full though I'm assuming.

UPDATE: My Check did NOT go through. received this in the mail today from my bank:

The following items that were deposited into acct # xxxxxx have been returned unpaid. We have debited your account as indicated below. As a result of this action, you account is now overdrawn. If yo have any questions or concerns, please contact us at the number above.

they also attached a legal copy of the check so i can TRY depositing it again. Not sure if I should contact the bank, or carbon, but the reason it was rejected, "UNABLE TO LOCATE ACCT" Are they sending phony checks, or what???

Update to the update: Upon further review, it seems to be a bank error. They re-deposited the funds to my account, but not before charging me with $50 in fees. I see no reason any fees should have been charged if they put the money in my account after all. If they had never taken it out in the first place, I would have never been overdrawn!!

Contacting Bank now, will report back if there is anything to implicate Carbon may be at fault here, but I suspect it is just the regular idiots down at the bank.

My Carbon account was closed a couple of days ago because I live in Nevada. I will be expecting a little over $7k that was in my account (no converting points into cash OBV!)

I will be posting in the carbon deposit/withdrawal thread so everyone knows what happens. GL to us I guess.....

Aced/Carbon are basically the same (same owners I believe; same promos MTTs etc).

Pokerhost may still take some of the players from these states, but just found out today that pokerhost may not be using the same MTT schedule as the rest of the skins (which will drive it from being one of the weaker skins to possibly the worst skin IMO). Though this isn't 100% yet apparently, I'd keep my eyes peeled on the other Carbon/Merge thread for more info on this.

Carbon sent an email - instead of my refund - with a new user name and triple the account value from the account the spontaneously closed last month - blaming it on my NJ residence. This is extremely suspicious. Now, I must worry about identity theft too from Carbon????
