Literally just walk into Crown and you should find tons of people playing on PPP down there. There'll definitely be someone who can point you in the right direction anyway.

The purpose of the intermediary is so that you can comply with the ToS and the exchange can say that it's not doing business with gambling companies. As such, your Nano S becomes the intermediary wallet between the site and the exchange where you will convert to fiat.

FYI, you don't even have to convert to fiat. You can spend Bitcoin at over 100,000 places online if you so choose.

Kahn,
You've posted a few times about crypto exchanges not wanting to do business with gambling companies and that poker players should use an intermediary wallet to move crypto funds. This is a definite issue for Americans. Any exchange operating in the States is rightly paranoid about the laws surrounding this, and although I haven't read the relevant ToS, your post above suggests that US based exchanges' ToS prohibits dealing with gambling sites. Fair enough. Doing what they can to avoid a DOJ banner being slapped across the screen and it's prudent for US players not to use Coinbase, Gemini etc to deposit directly onto gambling sites.
Because this thread is for Australian players looking for online poker options though it might be worth mentioning that the Australian equivalent of the DOJ isn't concerning itself with the payment processors (including crypto exchanges) that deal with gambling websites not licensed in Australia, as far as I know.
The Australian Government has banned gambling websites that don't have an Australian licence, not the processing of payments to these websites, which is a different situation from what US players are dealing with.
I've used an Australian based crypto exchange (btcmarkets.dot.com) to deposit and withdraw directly to and from offshore unlicensed sportsbooks on at least 6 occasions with zero probs, and there is nothing in btcmarkets ToS to say I can't do that.
I haven't used this exchange to deposit onto a poker site yet (sportsbooks only), but I haven't yet heard or read of any evidence to suggest I'd have an issue if I did.
Would be interested in others' experience regarding this?

+1 to that. Great post. Have also used BTCM several times for IGN with no issues.

The main choices we have are the Chico network (bot infested, colluders), WPN (bots, colluders, reg infested), Ignition (**** software, but best option), and mobile apps which most of us are going to struggle to find a way to get into a club.

Is there any way I can persuade more aussies to play on Seals with Clubs? Most of us are using crypto already so playing on SwC will be no hassle, infact the service will be better compared to other sites. The site has everything we need except the player pool. Let's start recommending SwC, and get some games going.

i would avoid chico. been playing there for a week and they suddenly banned me and taken my profits just refunded my deposit, because my account was apparently high risk, whatever that means, even after i verified. wont even give me an explanation.

1) Intertops told me that they do not accept Australian players.

2) I am not sure which is better, Ignition or betonline?

3) The reviews for Tiger Gaming is NOT good.

Intertops stopped accepting Aussies a month or two ago. JS still does.

I've been playing on Tops for a year and a half or so. Should I be worried or withdrawing?

Tried to make an account with betonline but there is no option for Australia as a country when signing up, any ideas?

Intertops grandfathered in existing Australian players. If you aren't familiar with the term, in this context, it means that existing accounts from Australia can continue to play without issue.

Better is subjective.

Some concerned about tournaments might say Ignition is better because it has more of them.

Some concerned about using cryptos to deposit and withdraw might say BetOnline is better as it allows the use of Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash, and Dash.

Better for what exactly?

Sigh, just got blocked on TigerGaming. Looks like they're cutting out all of the Aussie players finally. Such a shame too because they'd finally made their MTTs not complete trash.

High risk account excuse now makes sense if they meant they'd get in trouble for letting you play.
