are people still unable to use the ignition poker client?

It's crazy im on Telstra default DNS and have never had an issue logging in and playing through the client.

As far as the website try: ignition551(dot)com

also the .net.lv address works fine for me

I still get Error 42 even with the new domain for ignition, is there a solution for this?

Super frustrating there is no way we can play the international WSOP events on GG.

ignitioncasino.eu was showing a url blocked for violation of whatever notice from the australian government 24 hours ago. so they're on a warpath? first time i saw that. not sure what power they'd have to go after ignition but worrying to see that nonetheless

loads of agents promoting VPNs on GG ATM to aussies. Interesting to see if issues arise if someone wins big in the WSOP series.

99.9999% chance it will get flagged and not paid out. Very strong scrutiny on all marquee games, upper end of high rollers, and all wsop events. Save yourself the grief, the odds of being successful are super slight. Your agent has an integrity issue. They're not going to be paid either, not sure their point. Source...me, master agent panel GG.

Hi All,

I've been playing on ignition poker for a while. Recently (after changing to NBN - with tpg) I can't seem to get the ignition poker client to work. When it opens, all i see if a black screen. I've tried to uninstall/re-install - can't get it fixed. Same issue keeps re-occuring.

Has anyone else experienced this? Anyone has a recommended fix?

I can get into the website fine and even log in via the internet browser (using mobile play) but the actual client isn't working.

Thanks in advance for your help

need to add cloudflare DNS servers for the client to work. Search this thread or FAQ on ignition website details are there

For those interested in how it works. It just grabs a list of all the domains owned by ignitioncasino.eu and trys all of them until one has success.

Not harmful at all.

Is there any possible way at all to play on a winning poker network? I can obviously play with a vpn but is there a way to make withdrawls without getting my money seized? Or a legit way to actually play?

Regarding cash outs and deposits from iggy/acr

Are there issues with sending btc to coinspot then to my bank account? Or should I go iggy to Wallet to coinspot to bank? If so why and what are good wallets?

I’m a total newb with btc etc

ACR would be your only option. I have heard that they are blocking new signups from Aus, but I expect this is because of pressure from the ACMA and a desire to delay the ACMA from enforcing the next level of penalties which is ISP blocks.

Send their support an email and they may tell you how you can signup.

Don't use VPNs. As this is a breach of their Terms & Conditions, it can give them a reason to withhold your funds.

I have found ACR to be pretty good apart from the occasional software crash. Certainly much better than I thought when I initially signed up.

There seems to be a fallacy that funds have to be redirected via a wallet to disguise the fact that it involves online poker rooms.

Crypto transfers are anonymous. Neither the name of the sender or receiver is listed in the blockchain.

I use Atomic Wallet as a long term storage for crypto, but if I'm cashing in or out of a room, I just use CoinSpot to or from the room.

Poker sites dont care where the deposit/withdrawal comes from. but if a licensed/reputable exchange finds out you are transferring money to a (most likely) illegal gambling site they will ban your account (almost all will say funding gambling accounts is against their tos). Many people have experienced this, not worth the risk, especially given how quick and easy one extra step is.

Gambling sites may use one address to receive/send all of their bitcoin, so while there may not be names on the transactions every btc transaction ever made is publicly viewable and figuring out what a particular address is being used for is not difficult.

Hi Guys n Gals

I was listening to a guy the other day telling us about his setup to play GGPoker in Oz and I was wondering if it would actually work or if he was full of it.

It seems it involves a virtual computer with windows installed to be as if it was in NZ (so settings etc are showing NZ).

Residential info from a friend in NZ

A NZ bank account (apparently there are banks that allow a NZ "wallett")

A VPN on his computer set to NZ.

Would this actually work?

Hey everyone, is Ignition still the best option for us Aussies these days? Looking at micro/low limit PLO games.

Cheers!

Ignition has softer games but more rake (especially low stakes plo) and no rake back like ACR has. Not sure if ACR allows new aussie accounts, but old accounts can still play there.
