So playing Ignition from Australia and the desktop client still not working get the black screen, anyone from Aus been able to get the client working? Don’t really need the client as the web based client works ok and less CPU intensive, just need to be able to DL the hands, any other ways to do it?

desktop client is blocked by ur isp, you need an australian IP VPN to login to get hands.

The desktop client works fine. Go to ignition website they have instructions on how to get it to work. You just need to enter cloudflare 1.1.1.1 DNS and it circumvents the ISP block

the dns change didnt help me. I can login but all I see is the transactions page. I don't understand how I can get in and only see that page, how can an isp block create that type of restriction. what is ur isp mate?

Yep, this works. To get the client up and running.

https://developers.cloudflare.com/1....1.1.1/windows/

For those interested in how it works. It just grabs a list of all the domains owned by ignitioncasino.eu and trys all of them until one has success.

Not harmful at all.

You're changing the ip. Change the DNS server.

Have just signed up for the upcoming Crypto Series of Poker. They are offering free entry to CSOP #1 to people who signup and deposit between 10-20th March.

You will need a crypto wallet, preferably one that is not associated to an exchange as exchange addresses are not guaranteed for perpetual use and the address you use to deposit must be yours forever.

I use an offline wallet (Atomic Wallet) and depositing was a breeze apart from having to manually enter your crypto address.

Features of CSOP include 13m CHPs of guarantees and bounties on the last 3 events on Isabelle Mercier, Rob Campbell and Tony G.

The network went down for maintenance late in the day on the 19th for a handful of hours. Then they went down for further maintenance on the 20th in the early am USA timezones, for about the same amount of time.

No official reason was given, but I noticed they were getting DDOS'd for about 10 straight days prior to this maintenance. My guess is that they hardened the network infrastructure a bit more during these maintenance runs.

Can you guys play on Ignition from your Desktop in Windows 10? If so, how?

I can only play from the website since the last government restrictions.

When I try to load the app it stays black and nothing happens.

I try to uninstall and install...

Can we get an answer if I can play on ACR as an aussie?

Quote:
1.4 Citizens of Australia and Residents of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, State of Maryland, State of New Jersey, State of Delaware, State of Nevada or Washington State may not download and use the ACR Software for any purpose. No license is granted hereunder to any User located within any jurisdiction where such offer of a license by ACR or use by such person thereof shall violate any applicable laws.
This is written in the TOS.

But they still allow me to deposit and play with my details set to an address in Australia.

A few lines after they leave out Australia in the following two conditions

Quote:
3.2 No license is granted hereunder to any User located within any jurisdiction where such offer of a license or use by such person thereof shall violate any applicable laws. Residents of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, State of Maryland, State of New Jersey, State of Delaware, State of Nevada or Washington State may not download and use the Software for any purpose.
Quote:
14. SPECIFIC GEOGRAPHIC RESTRICTION: Residents of Sweden, Guadeloupe, French Guyana, Mayotte, Réunion, Martinique, France, Spain, Italy, Turkey, Louisiana, Kentucky, Maryland, New Jersey, Delaware, Nevada or Washington State are not permitted to view this site or use any of the games accessed through software downloads provided hereby. From time to time, in its sole discretion, ACR may amend the list of specific geographic restrictions from which You may not access any of the Services.
Should I just continue playing because it's illegal in any country anyway, and this is just how things are done, and they need to cover their ass?

Or will they ban me if i go to withdraw $20k from my account after grinding for 3 months, for violating TOS?

Is there anyone from Australia who has withdrawn large amounts of money from ACR?

It was necessary for them to add that after receiving notification from the ACMA.

They were told that they had to inform Australians logging in by way of a popup that it is not an approved site to play on. This disappeared after a few weeks.

There are plenty of Aussies playing on ACR and they are unlikely to be ISP blocked in the forseeable future as they don't target Australians.

Rooms on the Horizon network (JuicyStakes, Intertops etc) are likely to be blocked first as they do target Australians.

If this happens, changing the DNS server as mentioned earlier in this thread will fix it.

None of the current rooms look likely to block from their end.

my ACR account is 'suspended'. I've emailed them 3 times over the past 18 months including just last week asking if I can play on the site again since many Australians can - they just reply with a link to the announcement regarding aussie law when they pulled out and said I cannot play.

When I asked why some aussies can play they just said "we will not discuss other players accounts"
