Yep still getting the error on both my PC and laptop, but I can get onto the site on my phone.

Perhaps my ISP is blocking it?

I had an error message one time and they called me re my VPN, and they asked me not to use it. No problems after that. If you're using a VPN maybe that's it?

Nope, I'm not using a VPN. Still not working. My best guess is my ISP is blocking it.

I live in Queensland and have never had Ignition blocked. Played today. My provider is Optus (I know they suck lol).

Yeah, VPNs aren't necessary and definitely can complicate things. When there is any hint of a DDoS attack, known VPN, proxy servers, countries they don't provide games to, etc get IP locked out of the games.

It is an effective way to mitigate DDoS, but will cause problems for people using any of the above methods.

Well update on the situation. If I hotspot my phone (Telstra) to my PC I can access ignition fine and log in and play no worries. Using my normal internet (Aussie Broadband) I can not access the site or log in to the client at all.

Looks like it's definitely the ISP. Which must be a new thing for them because it was working a couple months ago. Hopefully other ISP's don't start doing this.

Hey Guys,

What's Ignition like for micro PLO these days, is that the best option?

Haven't played online in quite some time.

Cheers

ACR website says

"Australian Market

On August 9th, 2016 the Australian parliament passed the Interactive Gambling Amendment Bill, effectively banning all online gambling sites that are not locally licensed under Australian State or Territory law.

For this reason, The Winning Poker Network does not allow customers from Australia to play at any of our existing poker sites (Americas Cardroom, Black Chip Poker, Ya Poker, True Poker, Poker King)."

maybe banning new sign ups, what a joke how can they not be worried about american law but abide by some stupid aussie law that will never be enforced.

This was their original response to my email:

Thanks for getting in touch with us.

Sir at the moment we do not have a final resolution this is based on some changes on your government laws in regards with gambling in poker sites.

We will be in touch with you, and we will reach you via phone or email with an update or resolution as soon as we have it, probably within the next couple of weeks.

Please note that your money is completely safe and you will always have the option to process a withdrawal at your best convenience.
