Maybe I'm being a little fickle, but it feels like these sites are missing the mark some on customer service when dealing in an industry where they're catering to people gambling actual money. Especially when this is so cold through a computer screen and not in person at a casino where you get actual personal treatment.
Similar thing just happened to me. I was asking what the payouts were and what the chip counts were for the people left in the tournament the night their system crashed (because of maintenance being performed at 11:45pm, kind of a busy time i would guess lol) because I was wondering why I was paid just a small amount. After FIVE emails trying to get that info, now I am being asked to provide my name, mailing address and email address.
First of all, why is any of that info needed. I'm not asking for any personal data of mine or others. I just want to know what they paid out in that tournament because I think I should have got more. Or at the very least, I want to know how they decide these things if I'm ever going to trust them with more money.
Second, after 5 emails this is the best way they think it is to respond to what I think was a reasonable question?
Third, they're asking for my email address?? Hello you dumb*****, you're emailing me to ask me for my email address??
Fourth, you have my acct name. Shouldn't you have all my info?? And if you don't have access to it, then maybe there's a reason you don't, but then don't try to get it when you don't need it.
I think as soon as the other sites get an iPad app and the freerolls here stop, I'm done with this site. (The above incident is not the only issue I've had of course, it's just an example.)
