I don't know how much action I will give this site. No VIP makes no sense. Just look at what they roll out with.

Was customer support mistaken? How do I get this fixed?

Big thumbs up to 888 for making this right.
Glad to hear it's been sorted out for you both!!

They don't have the balls to do it live.

How can you do that? Throw trophies or tomatoes? I haven't figured it out yet.

Thanks for any help.

Just right click on a player and a menu will appear then just click on Throw which will give you further options.

Right now they are giving out 50% rakeback and 50% buyin back until January 7th. That should suffice for now.

After that I'm sure they will implement something.

I also had mine sorted out for the winter promo. Says I've cleared 140$ on a popup when I login but I don't think it's actual credited my account yet? Is there anyway we can confirm it? I tried looking through account statement but it confused me. Thanks for the help btw 888rep.

Try CASHIER then HISTORY then BONUS and see if it's been documented there.
You may have to tweak the date though.

Think I posted this in the wrong thread, so here it goes again:

Played in the $10,000 freeroll last night and got disconnected about 4-5 times. At one point when I was in the money and scratching and clawing with a short stack, I got some kind of "fatal" or "unresolvable" error message and got booted out of the software entirely. I had to restart from scratch. Also, sometimes when you come back you're "sitting out,'' don't realize it, and the software folds a good hand.

Also, that animation that allows you to throw tomatoes, etc., is one of the dumber things I've ever seen on a site. Disabled them immediately.

The disconnection is a serious and severe issue. I personally hadn't had problems with it up until one of the last 2 updates.

On top of it, the one where your location can't be determined and you're booted midhand is absolutely ABSURD and even more concerning is the issue has been brought up over and over and it is being flat out ignored.

They have got to allow you to finish the hand before booting you.

If not, they can't seriously expect any of us to play big cash tourney's or cash games of any value that we deem personally of value to us, can they?

I was folded in a hand where I flopped trips on a cash table a few weeks back against one of the fishiest fish in all of fishdom after I had raised pre and he and one other player called. I was first act, checked and then was geo-located booted. I had been playing for hours and was still smack dab in the middle of NJ like I had been. I'm insta-folded and lose all money I had already committed in the pot and when I checked on the hand through hand history it got relatively juicy and my trips would have held up on a reasonably dry board by the river.

This hasn't happened to me again. I have been geo-locate booted and snap mucked again a few times, but never under those circumstances.

This was 25/50 cent playing with free roll earned funds and I was/am aggravated to an extent. If this was with a higher bankroll, especially if including deposited funds and earned further funds and I was on a bigger cash game like I would usually play and it happened I'd be livid.

HAVE TO FIX THIS ISSUE. MUST LET US AT LEAST FINISH THE CURRENT HAND ON GEO-LOCATION BOOTS.

Really that simple. No way around it. No compromises are acceptable.

As for the object throwing thing, I like it lol. I wish there were more options of different things to throw haha.

Is there a meter or something on the table that's supposed to show me my BP's being released towards the 100% match bonus like it says on the 888 website?

I'm seeing nothing under my account either but SP's, which are different.

I finally just made my first time deposit and used the winter sale bonus code, which through email it says is in addition to the 100% match.

I e-mailed support about this issue and have not heard back (day & a 1/2). What is more alarming is it's been an on-going issue and me being naïve thought it was an isolated circumstance. I was disconnected during tournaments and playing 1/2 - so I'm out a good amount of coin. As I posted previously, I'm less upset about the money because I can take my business elsewhere. The main concerns are why hasn't this been addressed, if it has why is it still happening and how is it going to be prevented in the future? That should be the questions to answer. Then when 888 answers those questions, they should figure out how to make it right on an individual basis.

How these companies can be so short-sided/lazy befuddles me.

There should be meter at the top of your table while your playing.
Also click MY PROFILE then MY REWARD STATUS and that will show you what points you have so far.

One of the frustrating things is when you ask support for a credit on a disconnect hand and they tell you that the disconnect issue was on your end.

4 out of 6 ppl at my table got disconnected last night and 6 out of 9 in the 10k free roll at the exact same time. (The guy I was in the hand with got reconnected and asked who won...lol. Yeah it was only my computers issue lol)

It was also classic when support told me they wouldn't credit me my bets because they looked at the hand # and saw that I had the worst hand. I guess support is not aware of all in bluffs.

Luckily it was only $45.

Higher limits are OFF limits until these sites get their acts together.

So apparently you don't get the 100% match and the Winter Sale all under the Winter Sale.

You actually have to make your first deposit under the Welcome 888 bonus on what you want to try and match and then make a minimum for the promotion 2nd deposit with Winter Sale to get both.

The problem is the email says you get the Welcome bonus as well, with a hyperlink that leads nowhere. Well what the link in the email is referring to is the standard Welcome Bonus of $4 dollars for cash, $6 for tourneys and sit and go's and the free roll tickets.

Again, this is the upfront thing I'm speaking on.

You got these ambiguous terms and promo names that confuse people.

I'm not dipping all responsibility or trying to act naive, but this is pretty confusing on some of this stuff such as this.

I made my first deposit under the Winter Sale instead of Welcome 888 and as of now I'd be screwed out of the 100% first deposit match if it wasn't for the very helpful chat support straightening everything out.

Listen, I know this can all sound nitpicky and what not and maybe it is, but it is what it is.

Anyway, if you guys could fix the dropped connections and the geo-location boots mid-hand, things will be looking way up IMHO.

Don't mean to pile on, I just expect certain stuff when dealing with money and also I just want to alert you and posters here to some of this stuff so they don't make the same errors on deposits and what not.
