Did not receive TIX today. Played enough yesterday to earn 2. Played sparingly over the Holidays. Did expect the quick turnaround they usually provide. Didn't happen.

Did intend to play at least one tonight if they arrived - the $2000 Freeroll at 9:05. 111 registered, 20 paid. Nice first place. As many as 556 have participated in the past.

Didn't allow enough time to go the customer service chat route.

A few more runners than the 7:05 that had only 59 and is over already. Congrats to the Top 20 that cashed. Found money.

Let the player beware. Caveat Emptor.

To be fair, I just received an email stating that they were escalating the bonus issue and giving me 4 freeroll tickets.

I'm going to assume that 888Rep called someone and said "Will you do something to shut this f'ing guy up" LOL

Im pretty sure my status points are not being doubled. I made a deposit this month with the promo code, but my points are what they would normally be with the rake I paid today. Anyone else?

Just talked with support who told me you wont have them doubled until Sunday, so I guess we'll see. It was a tough road to get there though. I saved it, but this was my favorite part:

REP.: yes you are in for the promotion
REP.: you are not able to see your status points
Me: Our status points are not in the progess bar on the tables?
REP.: that's correct
Me: im sorry I must be confused, what are the points in the progress bar? It says status points
Me: and tells you how many more you need to reach the next level
REP.: that's correct
Me: ok, so then we can see our status points, correct?
REP.: yes you can

I dont even mean to put the CS Rep on blast here, but really?

Higher Visions,

To clarify, did they say if the points would be doubled every Sunday, or was this a one time thing?

Another day that I played enough to get freeroll tickets and another day that I didn't get any tickets. 888 sucks, I will definitely not be playing on there any more unless this issue is resolved quickly

but it's Saturday and they don't always get things done on Saturdays. I guess only the slackers work Saturdays.

I haven't gotten my tickets the last two days either. I've never had a problem. How do I contact customer support? - they certainly don't make it easy to find.

I woke up to 3 different "you have tickets" emails. I'm currently out of state so I can't view them, but I've never gotten an email and not had the tickets there.

Prepare to be disappointed. I also got three emails overnight, but just checked: No tickets were added.

Ha! Well, I won't be back in NJ until Wednesday, so there's time for me.

It really is comical at this point though.

Also just got a random popup window about an hour after I logged on saying, "Congratulations, You've Got Two More Freeroll Tickets!"

But, of course, I don't.

Too bad they can't get this right. I actually like the site and think they'd be doing a lot better with traffic if not for all the problems with their promotions. Even when I won a Step 3 ticket I had to email them with a jpeg of the win to get it (about a week later).

I think they've really underestimated how valuable customer service is to selling a product.

It's not customer service though. 888Rep has no ability to do anything regarding making their system and promotions work as advertised. He is just in the crappy position of being the one who has to deal with unhappy customers due to their mistakes.

888 is my favorite site to play on for several reasons, (even worse issues with party, and I prefer freeze outs to rebuys), and to be honest they'd get a lot of my play without the promos, but once you promise someone something and you don't come through because of the ineptitude of the programmers it makes you (me) angry, when I wouldn't have been angry if they didn't promise anything new.

How many times do they have to come out with a new promotion, have that promotion not work and piss off a bunch of people before they realize that their system testing sucks and they need better internal system testing procedures put in place before coming out with something new?
