Greetings,

I tried to withdrawal $2349 on the 15/05.
I then got at e-mail saying that restrictions were placed on my account and that I had to send a bunch of documents in order to authenticate my personal details.

I did send those documents that were requested and then got a reply on the 21/05 asking for another document, this time, the following: "- A selfie holding a recent utility bill or statement showing your name and address"

I then sent the selfie as asked and day 24/05 got an e-mail saying the following: " After a full review of your 888poker account, we have decided to permanently close your account. "


I have about $6k on my account and live chat just told me the following: "The account will remain blocked and any money in your bankroll will not be refunded and no cash outs will be paid."

They just blocked my account, gave me no reason to why they done that and refuse to pay me... I'm not even a big winner on the platform, I'm up $200 there.


What the **** is going on? Has anyone experienced something similar? What can I do here?

All help is highly appreciated.

You should post every relevant e-mail. My friend was banned and confiscated for alleged computer assistance, despite playing honestly. In your case, which rules did they claim you broke?

They did not give me a reason!!!! That's the worst part.
Guy from live chat said "business reasons" but I haven't even got an e-mail from them, it's been 2 weeks now

They seem to be very sure u broke their TOS and im very sorry to say that but i highly doubt they make decisions like this lightly.

Ur only chance is to go to the responsible gaming/gambling comission if you did nothing wrong and hope to get some help there.

All companies are allowed to refuse customers for business reasons (just not discriminatory reasons), but absolutely not allowed to steal your balance. The customer service did say that they are escalating the matter regarding your remaining balance so it doesn't sound like you're being robbed.
