I have to say I'm positively surprised for the cash out speeds on Pacific. I requested a payout this weekend and had it in my ewallet today. After Black Friday I've heard most sites take quite a while to payout.
888 had no Americans prior to Black Friday anyways, so it's been business as usual since.

Appreciate the feedback about the freeroll. We had about 2 weeks notice though, wasn't entirely "last minute," but perhaps a month would have been better. I agree about the earlier registration.

If anyone has any feedback regarding the tournament ie: Why you didn't register? What prize you would register for? Any other "appreciation gestures" you'd like to see (don't say Rakeback)? Please let me know and I'll keep it in mind next time I have an opportunity to set something up for you.

Cheers,

Aaron

So a few ideas for tournaments would be:
1) Freeroll tournament(s) with guaranteed prize pools
2) Freeroll tournament(s) for games other than NLHE (e.g. Omaha )
3) Prize Money added (for a low cost buy-in event)
4) Some proportion of top finishes getting a "Bonus" (that would have to be played to be unlocked, similar to the $8- bonus new players can get)
5) Adding prizes from the 888 Store to the prize pool
6) Bonus Status increases or Bonus Status points based on finishing position
7) Time zones obviously can affect people’s ability to play, so perhaps spreading any prizes or offers out over say 3 tournaments running every 8 hours or 2 tournaments 12 hours apart, or even across different game types and time zones would be good for a wider ranges of players

Some ideas for "appreciation gestures":
1) "Bonus" for useful feedback ideas, for example the $8- "Bonus" (that would have to be played to be unlocked, similar to the $8- bonus new players can get) would hopefully be something fairly easy to offer
2) Bonus Status's bump to a higher level or Status points for suggestions/ideas
3) Free swag (from the Store)
4) Discounts or special offers from the Store - perhaps via a discount code or online/email link for example
5) Custom avatar option(s)

Cheers

Hi Aaron,

I would have considered playing if

1. Timezones worked out better; and
2. Winner takes all $$$, not an entry to another tournament - it has to be worth spending the time on it.

Although that said it sounded like entering and sitting out would have done the trick so maybe I should just have done that

Alternatively what about any special "non financial" prizes, maybe special merch, winner gets to play HU vs Warnie etc.

Good stuff.

Ah sorry, didn't look at the date you posted. Guess it was my bad, as I read the thread in the last minute Two weeks is perfectly fine.

I realize you didn't have any US players, but you definitely have had an increase in players since then. Kudos to you that you still do quick payouts

Anyone knows if pacific sends hand histories on request? I asked them for my hh for the past month and it took them 5 days to send me a spreadsheet of my account activity but not HH. I am not sure they know what I am asking. Has anyone done this before?

Greetings,

I wanted to make my own thread for this,

Either there is some cheating going on, or there is a serious bug with the software.

Thanks

Currently the only text-based HH's you can get are the ones that are saved to your system via the pathway you've established in Settings found in the Lobby.

Dont play on this site. The support is crazy bad.

About a year ago I depped some money on there to play some PLO and SNGs. I got scammed when i wanted to swap and 1 minute after I did the swap i realized that.

I immediately called support and they assured me everything will be fine and I would get my money back, (600$). I'm like wow, this is pretty good support I get on the phone with them in 2 minutes and they tell me they are on it.

2 days pass and still no phone call back (which they promised) or money back in my account. I phoned them again and this time they said I had to send in my documents, luckily i was prepared for that and they got it in 2 minutes. I was asking about the scammers account and they said that it was a new account (it was a gimmick account of someone I know but spelled differently) and new accounts cant even play with transferred money before they do an ID check also so my money was safe and sound.

4-5 days pass and I'm like wtf is going on here, when do I get my money transferred in my account. So I called them again about it and they say yeah support is on it, security is handling it it will be fine.

So at that point i was like whatever the secured me the money 3 times (i taped all conversations for some reason lol) so it had to be OK. 9 days later I made another phonecall (phonebill zzzz) and support told me they had bad news for me. Security check off me was OK but they werent able to give me my money back as the cheater had allready donked it away on the pokertables.

I'm like, this isnt fkcing possible cuz they need to ID check. Their answer was basicly, yeah well, they did and we approved this **** so he could make rake for us. I didn't do anything with it cuz well it was 600$ didnt really feel like it and after i spoke to the boss of support there it was clear that I didnt get the money back. I cashed out my 5k roll (which also took ****** long with al kinds of fake mess (had to ID check twice lol)) and never played there in my life anymore. I hope no one does tbh.

the infamous pacific support

Sounds like you had a rough time. Not quite sure I follow your issue though...?

You tried to money swap with someone (which is done at your own risk), you got scammed, and support failed to get you your money back. Is that the long/short of it or did I misunderstand?

This could be a stupid question but does anyone ever take money out of there account just to put it straight back in taking advantage of the reload offers? Does 888 let you or do they throw you into the proverbial black hole that is "support"

Thx

You can probably get away with it, but I'd change your cashout times/amounts up so it doesn't look painfully obvious.

I'm not here to reclaim my money Aaron T because after more then a month struggle with the support I gave up a long time ago on that.

I'm just here to warn people not to play on this site because it's shady and gives you repeatedly promises they don't keep in any way. The most important thing for pacific is to get as much rake as they can even if that includes veryfying a frozen cheaters account under investigation.

And yes you understand me correctly, I was swapping with someone on a forum who contacted me via PM but after a few minutes I saw it was a gimmick account with the same name and a dot behind it (hardly to see). I honestly dont understand how you cant understand my story though, I think i wrote down the process of how you guys fcked me pretty clear.

I wouldn't really mind if you said, hey bad luck bro ur money is gone after one minute. Then I was done with your site in one minute and would be pretty angry at myself for this to happen and pacific for not doing anything for me but I would somewhat understand the position you would take. No instead you string me along for more then 2 weeks repeatedly confirming me my money was safe and investigation was taken place so I wouldnt stop playing on pacific and generating rake.

If anyone is doubting to play on here or just on pokerstars, please choose for the best site in the game industry and not some shady ******ed site like pacific, who knows what they will end up screwing you with.
