The only thread you have in CTH is from Dec 2008. Why don't you repost your problem?

Have your ISP send out a tech to test your line signal quality. I used to have massive discon problems at my previous address. When they finally tested my line it was way out of whack. They put a signal amplifier upstream (supposedly), and ran a brand new feed from the cable pedestal to my house/modem.

I assume if he is offering $100 then he has tried that at least once already.

Strange that pokerstars runs fine before 2:00 pm. My first thought is that the ISP is doing some testing during the time that you are having problems but you're also saying other apps are running fine during that period.

To get more facts, I would think for you to try another computer. Not sure if you have another laptop or an old desktop lying around but try those on the same connection and then see if you have the same problem.

Here's something else to try. When you are having problems, open Help>Network connections from the pokerstars lobby and see if you are having problems connecting to just the pokerstars server or other sites as well.
