Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but I'm looking to visit friends in Malaga, Spain and would like to play a bunch of poker when they're doing couple stuff.

I did some research online, but most websites are rly ****ty and give very little information about their games. If they do, it's about tournaments, but I'm only interested in cash games.

So far I found 2 possible options that I think have poker rooms, but still unsure about how many cashgames run, what stakes, etc.

Casino Marbella
Casino Torrequebrada

Anyone that knows more or can point me in the right direction?

Marbella looks very hit and miss, at least in the summer. Rich people blow their money at Nikki Beach, not in the poker room. Apparently there are sometimes groups of Russians or Arabs/Persians who play 10/20, but that doesn't happen too often. Most of the time I checked out the casino it was pretty dead and they didn't even have one full 2/5 table going.

Casino also doesn't open before 8 or 9PM in the summer, so playing during the day, when everyone else is at the beach anyway, isn't an option.

If you're willing to drive another hour from Marbella, you can play on Gibraltar. There's always a cash game to be found, but people are obviously significantly less rich than tourists in Marbella.

Having been playing there on and off for the last 10yrs in summer as we have a home there (and I've been off season too) its actually a pretty good place or at least 6yrs ago it was epic - but generally always a 2/5 and 5/10 running. 10/25 when very rich in town and because of its location to the port rich Arabs/Russians (aswell as Scandis who want to gamble) come for a few hours and then go drinking. The only issue I have is the floor and the Spanish/local regs - floor always rules in favour of locals and I think the regs cheat - so much so that I've reported them for whatsapping each other in game. Nothing was really done. They are really bad for the game and dont talk to tourists. Games run 8pm-4am basically. Theres one loud mouth POS 'reg' whos actually a massive fish who sits very deep, bellows forced laughter and shouts every hand, if you beat him in a pot he shuts up, awful person.

I've been to Gibraltar 1-2 weeks ago. Asked about poker at the Sunborn casino on the boat - was told there is no poker anymore, I am the first person to inquire about that in months. So far there is no cash game in Gibraltar, as far as I understand.

There is a 1/2 game at San Roque, which is fairly close to Gibraltar.
