It is by drat a cleaner and better looking app. The icon looks much better. The layout is far superior, the information and stats given are much more plentiful than PIP. Tons of extras like trip logs etc. It's way way way better. I just went through the apps again and it's way way better.

Hmm that's unfortunate. I used to email that email address from my phone and get a reply fairly quick from him. Maybe in the last few months it's waned...

Does anyone know about the IRS approvedness of these apps? The letter of law only says "contemporaneous notes" from my reading on here, but all of Russ Fox's posts seem to insist that only handwritten records are acceptable. This seems dumb to me, but when dealing with the US tax code, that just makes it seem more credible.

Do these apps work on an iPod touch? would they work on any other models of ipod? I have a basic flip phone, so phone based apps are out for me. There is a pretty decent little spreadsheet somewhere on here that I adapted to my needs. Also, no one seems to mention recording table number or witnesses.

there is an export function that only requires you to have email set up, it's under settings somewhere

I win almost every session and count my cash every week or so. Been doing the same process for 25 years with no problemo.

I have an Android. I switched from poker session to poker income. I like it much better. Poker session was annoying to use.

Is this really a good idea to keep all this data? What if your phone gets hacked or seized by the Feds?

Why would you be worried about the feds in the first place? Also you can just say its play money earnings.

once you hit like 10 sessions on lite, it won't let you use it anymore. i bought it for my iPhone like a year ago, Pro was on sale for 1$

cool. so basically i can't just use the lite version for neither.
if i were to buy should i buy poker journal? it seems like that's what ppl are suggesting here.

also im playing around with the lite version, and pretty often it just crashes and exit the program. is that a common thing? or will that still happen if i purchase the full version

I doubt the lite version has all the latest updates and patches. There used to be a bunch of crashes for me as my database got really large but it hasn't happened in a long time. I bought Poker Income Pro over a year ago when it was $.99 and I wasn't that serious about live poker. After playing around with Poker Journal I would say that is the better choice.

cool thx. well everyone say poker journal is better. how is it better? i kno they have that gps locator thing, but that's not really necessary. what else is better? just the overall appearance and easier to use?

but yea its nice to hear some feed. but i guess i will end up buying poker journal. $12.99, i hate paying for apps since a lot of new one comes out for free and most apps like games and utility are pretty bad, and once in a while i see a few i like but the most i pay for is no more than 1.99$, so yea poker journal will be the most expensive app by far i purchase lol

Does any one know of an app or program that wokrs on a mac book? Or possibly a link to directions for setting up a spread sheet or something. I have over 22,000 hours of live play in various notebooks and would like to be abke to compile and search. Any suggestions would be helpful. I just do not want to purchase and Ipod because this would be the only thing i use it for.

I use an app on the IPhone called Poker Analyzer. The lite version lets you keep up to 30 sessions in there. After each month, I record my monthly stats somewhere else and delete the previous month's sessions. It caught me off guard one losing session. After I had rebought a couple of times and was about to log another rebuy into the phone, this is what it said, "Tilt Warning: Did you run hot? I highly recommend to a break!" I damn near fell out of my chair when I saw this.

Overall, it is very easy, and keeps all the info I'm looking for.

Is Poker Income a lot better than Poker Session Logger for Android? The former is $10, while the latter is FREE.
