If they give you any difficulty, let slip the dogs of war.

Not unless there's something in your background you should be worried about?

Pro-tip: don't lie or try to omit any info. That's a deal breaker.

Unfortunately many people have to worry. I have known many people who were rejected from poker jobs over bad credit. Some casinos seem to be very strict about credit requirments while others seem to not care at all.

Isn't the answer to that question going to depend entirely on what's in your background?

I'm not sure how many of you are aware that most companies outside of the gaming industry are now checking applicants' credit scores now. And getting rejected from any job over bad credit is pretty common.

Here in the great white north I haven't heard about anyone being denied a license because of bad credit (unless they were dishonest about it) but there are often conditions on their licenses and they typically take longer to get an initial approval, no problems with renewals assuming conditions are being met.

We're also moving away from the practice (gaming included). Mostly because car insurance companies started to jack up rates or deny coverage and it became a big public relations nightmare.

Here its not about being denied a license it's about getting hired

if you have to ask this question, you probably have some skeletons in the closet, and I'm sorry to say you're not gonna get the job.

However you can still apply to food and beverage or the hotel dept.
