Like, how does that guy even walk into the pool. He can't be more than 2 feet away when he gets up to start walking.

And the initial lady who fell at the beginning of the video, it looks like she doesn't even look at her phone until she is like 2 feet away. Almost like she did it on purpose to get insurance or something.

If you watched the video all the way to the end, they say the lady was legally blind, plus she was wearing sunglasses.

Yeah, I didn't do either of those things. So basically her phone had nothing to do with it.

"This game is so STUPID! If we were playing NO-LIMIT, I could have bet enough to get you to fold!!!"

Whenever I hear this (ie, every day), I wonder if softball pitchers yell similar things after allowing homeruns. "This game is so STUPID! If we were playing BASEBALL, I could throw overhand!"

As a resident of a state with a max bet law like yours, I feel your pain.

Of all the $2-4 Aces Cracked regs, we got a crew of 4-5 guys who like to play at the same table. They turbo-muck everything but Group 1 hands. They think this turbo style will help them see more hands, and maximize the Cracked EV. They don't see that finally getting AA will do them no good if no one else is in the hand against them.

Any way, I got to their table near midnight last night. There was already an open seat or two, when the only two players not in their group decided to rack up and leave.

This was their DREAM. They have the table all to themselves! Let the turbo-mucking begin!

The next four hands: all fold, blinds chop.
Hand #5, someone limped with QQ. I pushed him a $6 pot.
Three more chops.
Another $6 pot.
Chop it again. That's 8 of the last 10 hands, if you're scoring at home.
When we got to 15 out of 20, I lost count, as I was exhausted from constantly hand-shuffling and pitching.

I moved the button, gathered the cards, and set the deck down next to the button. I told the player on the button, "You're dealing this hand. I need a break."

The players LOL'd, but they needed a reminder of my efforts. "Seriously, guys, if this is what you're going to do--do I really need to be here?"

(In their defense, they'd at least tip $.50 for those $6 pots. One guy even came with $1.

For the last 20 mins of that down, I did not drop a single dollar down the rake, as the pot never reached $10. Nice promotion.

YTF you're stories of LHE are hilarous, in part because it seems like these guys must've learned to play poker when dinosaurs roamed the earth. I wonder if in 20 years people will look at old guys like me, still holding on to a boring solved game like NLHE and think the same thing.

I guess the upside to this thought is that I might still have a BR in 20 years.

Yeah Aces cracked might be the nut low promotion. Literally one of the only promotions that will discourage action.

Anyone else dealing the WSOP?

It's my first year here and I'm having a great Series so far.

Made the move out here permanently. Trying to find a casino job after for long term employment, maybe if anyone has some connections they can point me in the right direction?

The tournament down rate is pretty solid so far. Live action & satellites have been good to me so far as well. I even got a couple Star Cards from players going out of their way to share their good experiences with the Floor. It's always nice to know good service is appreciated.

I've taken the advice others on here have given me... "just stfu and deal". And it's been good advice.

Was just wondering if anyone else on here is dealing the series and how their experience has been so far. For me, I'm loving it. Great opportunity.

TV: Breaking news, another terror attack in London, a car plowed into a crowded sidewalk...

LOUDMOUTH: The UK really brought this on themself, with their immigration policies. These Musl--RADICAL Muslims, they're everywhere over there! Whole neighborhoods! Have you been there? I have! And you walk through these neighborhoods, and you're an American, and you try to defend yourself, and *you're* the a**h*le. I was over there-- (finally realizes no one is chiming in to agree with him) Anyone here Muslim?

YTF: (loudly) PRETEND WE ALL ARE!

LOUDMOUTH: (shuts up)

It's late. On OT. Again.

3/6. They've been complaining for the last 20 minutes that service hasn't come around.

Preflop complete. Six players. Bring in the bets. SERVICE IS ACTUALLY HERE.
Okay who needs service. Get service now guys. Here he is. Drinks are ordered.

Finally we can start the action. There's a slight problem though. In an attempt to get this drink situation taken care of, I've been directing flop action... and I haven't put out the flop yet. All bets are nicely in the center, and I'm making another loop asking each player to check or bet.

Guess how many players checked when prompted before one of them realized that we needed a flop?

Spoiler:
Three

10 years there, out in 2013.
I hear things have gotten bad there, to the point even 4/8 holdem barely runs unless there's high hand promo going 😧

We got a $2-4 player who's a nice guy, but the slowest player in history. Plays every hand, and every time it's his turn to act, he's caught by surprise--I mean, his eyes go wide. "Huh? It's on me?" Needs to recheck his hole cards on every street, and God forbid if he needs to start counting to see if he has a straight.

So tonight I put out a flop, and it's checked to him. He's shocked to hear it. He quickly fumbles for his cards. I watch SportsCenter while I wait for him to pull himself together. I notice that just as this player learned the action was to him, at the same instant, a baseball player on tv hit a deep fly ball on the Top Ten plays. The outfielder gave chase into the corner, crashed into the wall, and crumpled with an injury. Since this is the Top Ten Plays, this is clearly going to be an inside-the-park HR.

Now my slow friend is looking at the flop, like he's never seen one before...and I make it pick'em that he's going to act before the batter makes it all the way around the bases. Again, the action got to him *just* as the ball was struck.

Results below:

Spoiler:
He had just rounded third and was heading home when I heard, "Call!"

According to Bravo they have 25 games going right now which is exactly as many tables as all three Philly card rooms plus Borgata. So I think they're doing okay.

I also noticed that they have low-limit stud which might be fun to play... Haven't done that in ages.
