If you win a high hand bonus, do you include it in your stats when calculating your hourly win rate?
For example, I like to play Sunday mornings when my room offers a high hand bonus of $300 every half hour. If I hit one, I don't think it's fair to include in my win rate.
Normally I don't, but if you play a lot then it really shouldn't affect your hourly all that much.
I pretty much play in the same room all the time (next nearest casino is 100 miles away), and log 1k-1.2k hrs per year. The rake is 5+2, with the 2 going to the promo fund. 1 for the promo at $10 and the 2nd promo dollar at $20. So you're paying $2 into the promo fund for every time you drag a pot of at least $20. Given there's no BBJ there and most of the promos are $200-$400, I know I pay a lot more into the fund on a yearly basis then I win from high hands or hot seats. So in my case I think I could look at the few promos I hit as rakeback and count it towards my hourly rate, but I just keep track of it on the side. The difference for me would be something like $2-$3hr if I counted promos towards my hourly (last year it was more like $1.40hr). That's not "nothing", but it's not incredibly substantial either.
